I'm in love with the SheCodes bootcamp program so far. I get so excited every time I got up from the bed to immediately crack the code challenge that Matt has given. It's all I can think of these days. The basic program IS really fun. I must admit sometimes I struggled some challenges, but thank god there's SheCodes Slack community. Whenever I encountered any problem with my coding, I immediately looked if there is anybody who had the same problem as I am. And most the answers are inside there!

This course wasn't easy but it wasn't hard either. I enjoyed every moment of it. It really challenged me mentally and I am now better at problem solving.

The React Add-on workshop was a nice addition to the React workshop. The lessons were helpful, and the dictionary app was a great project!
I really enjoyed this workshop and it was very useful to learn how to build a responsive website using pure HTML and CSS without utilizing Bootstrap. I learned a lot and it was fun building the website using grids, cards and embeds!
I enjoyed each and every moment of this OMG!! looking forward to the next module.

Creating a world clock was a fun and rewarding project. I enjoyed the challenge of working with different time zones and figuring out how to display the correct time for cities around the world. The process felt like solving a puzzle, and each step taught me something new. The course made it easy to follow along with clear instructions, which helped me overcome any tricky parts. Seeing the clock update in real-time for different locations was incredibly satisfying. This project not only made learning enjoyable but also helped me build my coding skills.

Participating in SheCodes Responsive Workshop was an incredible experience. While I gained hands-on skills in HTML, CSS and Bootstrap, the journey was not without its challenges. There were times when I spent hours troubleshooting code bugs and figuring out why something wasn't working as expected. Each difficulty, however, became a valuable lesson, teaching me perseverance and deepening my understanding of responsive design. Learning about SEO and hosting was a game-changer, helping me build professional, user-friendly websites. Thanks to SheCodes, I now feel confident in my ability to create fully responsive web applications from scratch, knowing that I can tackle any coding challenge that comes my way.

I can't believe how much you get to learn in the Basic course! I had a basic CSS understanding for the little bits I needed to do for work, but as I'm learning web design I wanted to be able to customise if needed, but it felt very scary. Having the course broken down into separate languages/formats each week allowed you to get the understanding for how each bit worked independently and how they work together for you to build functioning code and web pages! It didn't feel overwhelming, though a few bits took a bit of getting the hang of (kept putting my brackets in the wrong place!), but you feel proud and accomplished when it works. Feel that I might want to look at the other courses to see how I could advance and what else you can learn.
I am really enjoying the flow of this course: tutorials, challenges and projects make it a great way to learn and apply the learning.
SheCodes Plus equipped me with a solid foundation in web development. I mastered HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, enabling me to create interactive and visually appealing web pages. Additionally, I gained proficiency in Git and GitHub, which are crucial for version control and collaboration. When my husband started his coding class, I was intrigued and wanted to learn coding myself. I looked online and tried a few coding websites, but had the feeling I wasn't learning anything. As I wanted to understand what I was doing, I decided to join the SheCodes community as I read good things about it. I was amazed! The lessons and content are very accessible and very well explained. I have really learnt a lot during these three weeks in the SheCodes basics course. The beginning was a great task but with help from the SheCodes team and the other students, I was able to understand things better and also feel at ease. Apart from IT skills, you get to acquire many more personal skills like; problem solving, patience, critical thinking among many others. As someone with previous experience with HTML & CSS, I still felt that I benefitted from this course. I learned a few new tricks and hacks, but what I appreciated the most was to understand how to integrate JavaScript into my projects. Learning some basic JavaScript on SheCodes Basic has been far easier than trying to understand it on other (free) platforms I have tried.
This journey has honestly been one of the most existing things I have done this year. It challenged me at times but luckily for me, I thrive most when I'm challenged. SheCodes is a game-changer !
