After finishing all the SheCodes workshops, I was unsure of the next steps to take. Fortunately, SheCodes Next provided me with valuable information on where to focus my efforts in order to land my first entry-level job as a front-end developer.I am now confident about my next steps and inspired to keep coding and apply the knowledge I have gained here towards a fulfilling career.
It was great to acquire additional skills in manipulating times and dates. The final project was also a good opportunity to practise everything we have learned so far in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
This was a great course. I became more familiar with React Loops and faced a lot of debugging which is ultimately beneficial.
Responsive workshop is very interesting, it's an advance method of using all we've been taught before in coding. In my opinion, Responsive is "coding made-easy".
I am very satisfied with the workshop. It kept me engaged and it was fun. The support along the way was also amazing from both admins and other coders! Cant wait to continue my coding journey!

Wow. Finally, I completed SheCodesPro! Feeling proud! From zero coding knowledge to full stack front end developer using JS and React. It gives an immense confidence to move forward in tech field and explore different opportunities. Taught in small easy-to-digest chunks and helps build your knowledge relatively easily. The instructor is fantastic, I am a slow learner so I can't wait to continue with the Plus bundle to hopefully cement current knowledge and expand on it!
SheCodes gave me the courage to step out of my comfort zone and embrace a completely new field. I'm sure that my military background has contributed somewhat to my ability to undertake this change with flexibility and perseverance but SheCodes makes it possible and fun. I'm looking forward to working alongside the other students out in the workforce someday.
Taking this Basics workshop made me enjoy learning how to code. Some aspects were a little challenging at first, but Matt explains each lesson in such a simple way that makes it easy to understand. Also, I really appreciated the Slack community! Whenever I had a question or needed help fixing my code, support was provided quickly.

It was quite a fun and challenging experience, I was able to understand each lesson perfectly and in my own time. I was surprised how quickly I was able to advance and become familiar with programming, something that I thought was far away but now I am more confident about it.
I've really loved advancing my existing skills as well as learning to use new tools to create responsive projects. I feel much more confident after completing this workshop and am excited to take on the next challenge, SheCodes React.

I have really enjoyed this coding course! It's paced brilliantly, so you are able to build on each lesson's knowledge as you go through it, and it really feels as though you've achieved something at the end of it. I highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking about getting into coding!

React is the fourth SheCodes course I have completed. I have loved the whole journey, it has been challenging at times but worth the time and effort. The React course was brilliant I really enjoyed working on the final project the weather app.

I enjoyed the course. I was use power automate recently and recognized some code as css and html. I understood what it meant, where before I just copied it as lines of text given tome to build the connections I needed.
I'm filled with so much excitement right now. I have learned so, so, so much from this workshop. I enjoyed every minute, challenging here and there, but a bit of patience with myself helped to bring me back together again. I now understand HTML, CSS and Javascript a little better, who would have thought a small girl like me from a small town in South Africa, would be out here learning the backend and frontend of a website, wow.
I started coding with sheCodes with no knowledge of JavaScript whatsoever. But now I am convinced with a little more training, I'd love to be a JS Developer.

What I appreciated most about the course was the emphasis on hands-on learning. We were given plenty of opportunities to apply what we had learned, and the final project was the perfect way to tie everything together. In this next phase of my developer journey I have created a weather app using Bootstrap, an API, GitHub, and Netlify. This experience has been incredible, allowing me to master new tools and become a more experienced front-end developer. Building the weather app was both challenging and rewarding. I used Bootstrap, creating a visually appealing and user-friendly interface and integrated an API, that enabled me to fetch and display real-time weather data, enhancing my understanding of dynamic content. Yay! Using GitHub for version control and Netlify for deployment revolutionized my workflow. I'm excited to continue expanding my toolkit and embracing new projects.
SheCodes React was very instructive. I feel confident after finishing this course and hopefully, I'll be able to work on new React projects using the knowledge I've gained through this course. Matt is a great instructor, I didn't have any problems understanding complex concepts thanks to him. I had all the help I needed along the way. The support team did a great job helping me solve my problems and answering my questions. I am grateful for this opportunity that the SheCodes Foundation gave me.
At first, I found React super difficult, I didn't understand everything I was doing and didn't get why we need to use this framework. But as you follow the lessons and Matt's detailed explanations, you get a better understanding of the concepts, you look online for things you need, and you realize why this framework is good and makes our life as developers much easier! It made me want to explore more and build more advanced applications. Thank you!

This has to be the seamless I have heard learning the Use of HTML, CSS and JavaScript in 2 weeks even if the course was to span for 3. One thing Matt has taken time to stress is consistency and you watch him repeat steps in each of his tutorials. I decided to keep going and I am excited to gradually improve my coding skills. I really like the setup of the course and I am big fan of Matts honest teaching style.
If not for SheCodes workshop I don't think I would have ever made a portfolio page. Making the website mobile friendly was a fun challenge I never thought it would be that important to make sure it doesn't look weird on mobile devices.

React.js looked so far fetched for me but Matt has helped to simplify it as much as he could. The secret is patience like he said and I can only get better and better.
