I went in with minimal coding knowledge, but by the end of the workshop, I felt much more confident in my abilities. The instructor explained complex concepts in a way that was easy to understand and the hands-on exercises were especially helpful in applying what I learned. Wow! SheCode Plus was intense but so informative. During each lesson I found myself so excited with what I was learning and so curious for what would come next. The final project is challenging and not quick but with patience and practice it gets done! I loved that each week prepares you for the final project but you learn something new until the last video. I am so thankful to the SheCodes team! I cannot wait to start my next course!

My educational background is in Neuropsychology. Although I was really fascinated by the world of tech, it was at the back of my mind. As a graduate, working in mental health and understanding the vast technology that can be put together to support and help has been at the forefront. Taking on Shecodes has been an exciting journey. I am all done with the basics now, and I am waiting to get onto Shecodes PLUS. It took a lot of discipline and dedication, but if I am honest, Matt makes it fun to want to tune in and engage. Improving little by little
I'm very excited to have reached this point in the workshop. I have learned a lot and I'm glad that I can now make a more complete website. I have been pursuing this learning for a long time and now I'm doing it. I really enjoyed this part of the workshop because we can adjust a website to any screen size and that's what I wanted to get to. The teaching has been incredible at Shecodes, plus each video leaves challenges that make us think a lot and challenge ourselves that we can reach our goal. I love it.

I would highly recommend SheCodes. Shecodes made a concept(coding) I thought to be difficult and overwhelming, so easy to comprehend. Not only does SheCodes breakdown the lessons immaculately, they provide you with tools to guide you throughout your coding journey. I'm even more grateful for the program since i joined through the SheCodes Foundation.
This workshop was definitely more challenging. Having no previous programming knowledge, JS was getting quite overwhelming at times. Nevertheless, with the help of each video, I was thrilled to be able to build my very first app at the end of the course! I'm excited to see what the next workshops bring and I believe with time, it will all become more intuitive.
This was super exciting and by far my favorite workshop thus far. I now have a growing interest in generative AI and would like to learn more.

It's been great coming back and revising the course after being away for two years, these new projects and expansions are a great refresher to courses I've previously completed.
Great learning of more advanced javascript and using the moment library to build a world clock application. Now I can keep track of key cities where my friends and family live without having to google one by one!
I loved learning with SheCodes, it has challenged me in ways that I could have never imagined! I'm so excited at the prospect of learning more and furthering my knowledge in web development.
I never thought I would build an AI app from scratch but with SheCodes I did! There were some features I had never seen or heard of before. It was a bit daunting but Matt explained them and I was able to do more research about them (thanks to AI) as well. Out of all of the courses, I rank this one in the top 3.
I completely enjoyed this AI Add-On workshop. I'm fascinated about how AI works and i had a really good time coding the final project which is currently one of my favourites. I'm motivated to keep learning on SheCodes.
I really enjoyed learning how to build a responsive website. Certainly the biggest mind work out yet, but I loved it! Matt's words at the end about growing the developer mindset and just trying something out even if you're not 100% sure really resonated with me.
I've had so much fun with the Basics Workshop! It's the perfect introduction to the world of coding, and I've thoroughly enjoyed learning HTML, CSS and Javascript. Since I come from a creative background, I've especially enjoyed the visual features of CSS and the thinking process of Javascript. Easy and engaging. I've tried other courses before that are very boring and have so much reading. The SheCodes videos are great and I love that Matt doesn't try to get you to memorize hundreds of elements and attributes. He just teaches you how to find what your looking for instead on trying to memorize.
It was a nice workshop. However, I feel that it could have been a bit longer to really understand React.
I recently came across a fantastic course that I believe can significantly improve your understanding of web development basics. It covers HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs, making it perfect for beginners. Personally, I found it incredibly helpful in enhancing my own understanding, and the instructional videos are all very comprehensible. Although challenging at times, it was fun to learn React. The structure of React makes it easier to look through and find the errors in your code, while also giving you a wide array of options when building an application. I love easy challenges at the beginning of the course, ending with the step by step walk through of building the application.
Creating dark mode was a challenge at first, but I flew through it at the end! Great project, I had fun designing this.
I didn't have much experience with AI before this course but the course was very informative and easy to follow which made building the project exciting.
I came in with very basic knowledge of html and css so as a beginner I thought the course was good in helping me build in to what I already know. The ask athena function was very nice and having the solution to help guide my own solution was good as sometimes I became so stuck I had to leave the project alone to come back with fresh eyes.
It was a very enjoyable project. Feeling more and more confident with JS I particularly had fun exploring new ways to utilize ChatGPT. Happy coding!
I really appreciate every second spent in the process of completing this workshop. Always learn from all mistakes, pay attention to details, and look at the steps carefully. “Don't compare your struggles to anyone else's. Don't get discouraged by the success of others. Make your own path and never give up.” (MJ Korvan). So, keep fighting!

This course is a step up compared to the previous ones and definitely tries to push you out of your comfort zone but the SheCodes team is always supportive in case we get stuck. I really enjoyed this coding basics program. The way that the lessons are broken up help to focus on grasping concepts.
