I took a lot away from the workshop. Besides the well explained videos, I had a lot of fun and was able to get a taste of a whole new area – coding (which I never thought is actually something I like to do). During the weeks I felt supported and accompanied. It was such a valuable learning experience. Thank you 🙏🏽
SheCodes broke down a huge amount of new information into learnable and workable chunks. Homework helped apply the new concepts immediately. I loved having the videos because I would go back and watch them when working on my final project.
I highly recommend this workshop! I find that instructor Delac's videos are very easy to follow as they are short and informative. This workshop definitely caters to my learning style.
This is a great workshop. Diving in deeper to all the areas I learned in the previous workshop and learning more. Again I love the step by step videos and challenges after and how we built the weather app slowly over the weeks. 😊
I Loved this workshop! I was always intimidated by code and coding, and with SheCodes I found out it can be for everyone. I enjoyed the short videos and the homework, and ended up spending a lot more time on the content simply because I enjoyed it!
Just finished my SheCodes+ final project! This course was a great resource to learn HTML, CSS and Javascript. It was challenging, but the encouraging videos and the shared doubts and solutions in Slack really helped me to come through the process. I'm very excited to take the next step: enroll SheCodes React!
It is challenging, yet rewarding to be able to achieve all the steps in the end, even if it is through all the help you get! The videos are so helpful and the assignments are very fun and interesting to do. Worth the free time!
I‘m impressed how much fun it can be to learn coding. Matt‘s instructions are comprehensive and create a great basis for learning and understanding HTML, CSS, JavaScript and even React👩🏼💻. Prior to this workshop, I only had some very basic HTML knowledge from 15 years ago, but I can now work with HTML, CSS and JavaScript after just three weeks! It has been a steep, and very productive, learning curve. The structure of the workshop is good with categorised learning videos, a supportive online environment with moderators and other learners and you are held accountable with several assignments per week which is a great motivation!
SheCodes Workshop helped me a lot in understanding basic programming👌 Matt is a very good teacher with his clear and understandable videos and his calm voice. I also like the little tips and tricks that we got during the workshop (like dracula or colorzilla, I love it!) I loved the course! I want to take another! I was very impressed with this course because I don't like to take courses on the internet, and I saw the ad, it caught my attention and I signed up, but I didn't know what to expect. I started the three week course, and I was always very attentive with the videos and exercises and Matt explains them very well step by step so you don't get lost and he can take the course with ease. The platform that handles "slack" helped me a lot when I didn't understand something, I put it there and they solved it for me. The course is highly recommended.

Before, I learned the basics of Python myself, but only the SheCodes course allowed me to feel confident in coding. The videos were short and the topics were clearly explained. I finally felt that coding could be fun. I'm looking forward to the lessons from SheCodes Plus.
SheCodes Plus is a memorable experience, that guides you to overlap your fears and develop your skills to coding with an amazing step-to-step methodology. A self-paced course, accompanied by videos and live help through Slack platform, it can make it less stressful and motivative. It is a huge library of open sources that makes you happy ☺️
The React course was definitely a lot more difficult than the other SheCodes workshops. Matt always does a great job of explaining everything as simply as possible, but I definitely still struggled a bit to conceptualize React. I had to do some more outside studying to help understand the context and how to best make React work in my project. I also felt like with this course, sometimes it was better to watch several videos at a time before making changes, instead of adding changes for each video, as sometimes something would "click" better after seeing the connections between several steps/concepts. All in all, SheCodes React was by far the most challenging, and frustrating at times, but not impossible with determination and with the Slack community support.
I've loved the SheCodes plus workshop, the videos and way everything's explained is really helpful and having access to Slack to get help from other learners and the team is great, João is always really helpful. I'd definitely recommend sheCodes to the women in my life that are interested in learning to code
I never needed to use the help service so can't say anything about that, but for the one motivated to learn this is a great way to get a structure to the learning process. Also, the videos are very easily formulated so anyone with the will can easily follow.
I enjoyed this course very much, I learned so much in such a short time. All the videos are very well made and explain, the challenges kept me motivated. One of the best decisions I made recently.

The course was amazing for beginners: an intuitive setup with great, short and easy understandable videos to learn all essential basics of coding combined with hands-on tasks and projects and a very logical and useful program structure. I loved that I could do everything at my own pace and was still motivated with the fixed deadlines and could get support whenever needed.
So far this was the best programming experience related to front-end development. Matt is an amazing teacher, the videos are well made and very well explained. The support that we receive on slack is good and I was happy that I also could help another students with doubts. I'm excited to finish this workshop, to add this project to my portofolio for future references and also excited to join the last workshop: React. I was a little hesitant at first, but this workshop was so fun! The explanations in the videos were very understandable. I loved how the meticulous aspect of coding sparked a sense of creativity I haven't felt passionate about in such a long time! Definitely going to keep learning. The classes are very well explained, and I love that you can go back to all of the videos in case you missed something, and that you can do it in your own time. Also I find it great that there is a video for the solution as well, so you can compare what you did.
SheCodes is amazing!!! It is enjoyable, easily informative and it is a coding education platform that ACTUALLY makes you WANT to do the work and put in the effort to code. I am very happy with all of my projects so far and whenever I have asked for assistance (ahem...wrong homework submission 🤦🏾♀️😆), it was given without hesitation. Matt is very patient and calm in his tone in the lesson videos. You also don't get the feeling that he's rushing you, which is useful when you're learning something like this and which I especially found helpful. The content is concise and easy to retain in my head and once you get the hang of it (which is easy to do with this course), it really lets your creativity go and you discover a whole new art form. Coding. The artistic flair of computing language. I would definitely recommend SheCodes to any woman who is taking up coding as a career path or even as a constructive and creative hobby. Ever since I was a little girl I talked about how I would love to learn how to be a hacker and do all that "magic" using computers, but I never knew how to. Since I struggled with math, I was more inclined and was led to a degree in social sciences/humanities and that idea went asleep. Now, a 24 year old, I stumbled upon a SheCodes ad online and that was it, I knew I had to do it and I couldn't be prouder or happier. I feel so accomplished and I feel that I can do anything, it's such a rewarding feeling! The workshop is amazing, Matt explains everything in a very detailed way and the videos are really helpful, we can see and understand everything and follow along as we go. I would definitely recommend it!

Coding and things like bootstrap or GitHub can be very overwhelming at first but Matt does an amazing job in teaching the learnings very well with an effective mix of theoretical, explanatory videos and practical exercises. Besides, I always felt very supported by the SheCodes Team in case of questions or doubts. So happy having found SheCodes and completed two of their workshops already!! :-)

The beginner course SheCodes is great for those they have no clue what is programming about. It was good they have homeworks, deadlines, a final project. Big support on Slack. Their videos are very helpful and easy to understand. I am happy for stepping into this new world online.

I am the kind of person who generally has no computer skills whatsoever and struggle to even convert a file to a pdf, so the thought of learning to code seemed daunting. However this course has honestly been so enlightening. The weekly projects keep me coming back and the videos you can go back to at any time are so useful. I would 100% recommend this course to anyone wanting a taster into coding. It has made me reconsider what I want to do next in life!
The online workshop is a great introduction for first-time coders. I have previously tried going the self-taught path and found this course to be so much more helpful. I overall had a great time completing this course! Everything is easy to understand. The content in the videos is explained very thoroughly, but even if you don't completely understand something, there are people who are more than happy to help you. SheCodes Plus was a beautiful challenge. There were ups and down in trying to understand Javacript but the videos, the Slack channel and the challenges really help develop the skill the right way. The final project it is a great way to really put everything together and test your mindset and skills. I couldn't recommend it more.

I came into SheCodes workshop knowing without any knowledge of html, css and javascript. I really enjoyed these pass 3 weeks. I came into the 3 week introduction course knowing nothing about coding. I am planning to make a career change into the tech industry in the near future so I thought this would be a great course to take and I was not wrong! I love SheCodes! I decided to take the SheCodes workshops during Quarantine, and it has been a great way to grow my knowledge of coding and have something productive to do with all of my extra free time indoors. I would HIGHLY recommend these workshops to anyone who has wanted to learn more about coding, the videos are easy to follow, and the homework and projects are easy to complete. No deadline will make you feel overwhelmed, and the Slack communities they have created are all welcoming. All of the women in the slack communities want you to succeed. It's a great place to see women empowering other women! And coming out of the other side of the Plus workshop with an app you built by yourself is one of the BEST feelings! 10/10, 10000000 ⭐️.

I enjoyed the SheCodes Workshop very much. The workshop pace is just right, and you can watch and rewatch the videos at your own time. Matt's videos and materials are very clear and I am able to follow and learn the basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript. These topics were initially rather daunting, but this workshop exceeded my expectations. The Challenges at the end of each lesson help reinforce the teachings and allow us to practise. The website and videos are nicely done, and the SheCodes Radio helped me focus during my Challenges and project. It was a lot of fun doing the course and the project. I was terrible at programming in high school, so I didn't have much confidence in myself to do well at this course. The videos and challenges were well-structured and easy to follow, and I'm surprised both at how much I learned and how well I ultimately did. The course was a lot more satisfying and fun than expected, and I'm glad I did it!

I love that this program is mostly self paced. You do have deadlines to keep you on track but it is doable. Matt explains the material simply and easy to understand. Make sure to take notes during the videos to compare your work.

Very good. Whilst I appreciate that React is comprehensive and this course certainly teaches you a lot, and I'm sure certainly covers the basics, there were many times during the development of the App through the teaching that other aspects of React were alluded to but were not fully covered or explained. I only wish these were elaborated upon. Otherwise, a fantastic course with a great online support team and brilliant intructional videos made by Matt.

I really liked it, sometimes it was hard to understand what was going on, so i learned more in the solution videos than the learn video.
I loved working on this project since it gave us the needed tools to integrate real-time information using an API. After creating this project, I have learned a lot in JavaScript. Before I looked through the Vanilla JS videos, I had googled how to increment days in JavaScript which gave me more information as to how JavaScript's internal dates work. This has been a great challenge to complete!
SheCodes 3-week workshop exceeded my expectations. It is extremely well planned and engaging. The quality of the videos, the great interactive challenges and homework, made the material easy to follow and retain. I needed/wanted an intro to coding and this was a great way to dive in! It always sounded so intimidating, and now I have some experience, I have a great appreciation for the engineers I know! The videos were easy to follow, and I loved doing it on my own time.
Challenging but fun! Though it's online learning, I always managed to get the help I needed if I was stuck on something. I never thought I would be able to create my own weather app! The lessons were in bitesized videos so it's easy to digest and can go back if I needed to refer back to anything. Thanks SheCodes team, I can't wait to learn more!

SheCodes is AMAZING! I've been majoring in Computer Science for over a year now, and I've been recently interested in front-end development and learning a few new languages. The workshops were the perfect place for me to get started over winter break! Matt takes things step-by-step and zooms in to explain the nitty gritty of the code. He neither makes it too long and superfluous nor too vague; it is just the right amount of explanation! In addition, you have this whole team of women around the world standing with you as a united force learning these new coding languages -- all of which are there at your disposal to help guide you and learn with you through Slack chat. Professional help is also available-- and they truly do help with whatever question or trouble you may have! (This is a unique twist from undergraduate help in college... ahaha.) Videos can be fast-forwarded 30 seconds or rewound for 30 seconds. You can always go back to previous lessons. The best part? A review of the video and significant concepts are left underneath each video. I have never encountered such a helpful platform to help me get started. Matt flawlessly lets us grow wings throughout the lessons as well so that we can find outside coding help and experiment for when we won't have a helpful guide in our future coding adventures. I recommend SheCodes to any woman interested in learning front-end development (website-building) or coding in general. What are you waiting for?
Brilliant start to coding. The videos are so easy to follow along and I think Matt describes the content and instructions really well. You learn a lot over 3 weeks and the frequent challenges really help to cement that knowledge.

The videos are easily understandable and this course was more accessible than anything I've used before (and I've tried my fair share). I loved the projects and coding has finally started to make sense!
SheCodes taught me a lot about the fundamental pillars of code such as CSS, HTML, and JavaScript. I have been struggling to learn code on my own, but with this workshop it made complete sense! The videos were easy to follow, homework assignments were challenging, and the final project gave us creative freedom. I'll definitely be registering for SheCodes React later this year. 👾 If you're hesitant or debating between SheCodes and another workshop, I highly recommend SheCodes! It was more like a game where you had to "beat each level" before advancing. I'm a visual learner and the way Matt explained everything was perfect. SheCodes was a great way to learn an introductory to coding. The 3-week college-class style format helped keep me on track and on-schedule with each lesson and the videos and projects made me practice each skill at a time and in easily digestible chunks. Overall, it was a fun and easy way to learn coding for the first time.
I found all of the videos easy to follow and the exercises challenging without being frustrating. I appreciated how I could go at my own pace and the support that was available on Slack. I work with developers every day, and while I always knew what they do is difficult, this workshop helped me understand on a deeper level just how difficult their work is. I'm thankful to this workshop for not only giving me introductory programming skills and knowledge but also allowing me to better understand and appreciate my colleagues and their work.

Quick course and the self-pacing was great. I was able to complete the course in a week. This is definitely a course for BEGINNER coders. If you have any coding experience, you will likely feel as though this course moves slowly (many of the videos were review for me). As a teacher, I was disappointed to find when I wanted to complete more advanced coding in my homework and I told to hold off and instead register for one of the more advanced courses and wait to try it then. It made me feel as though the instructor's help was not really helpful and I was passed off for wanting to try to complete some of the work shown in an advanced video.
So far very good! There is so many different online choices but this makes a difference: workshop way of working (with homework, deadline and homeworks to submit) and possibility to have support from the SheCode team if you have some issues (kind of mentoring on demand). Continue offer great product & service! Small future suggestion: as some videos were done in the past, update new info/changes eg. What is the difference between JavaScript 6 and the newest one.
SheCodes is wonderful! The videos are clear, well structured, and organized. It's also an asynchronous class - you can learn and work on your homeworks/projects whenever convenient for you. I finished the three-week coding class in a week and was surprised by how much knowledge I gained already! I'm excited to unfold what the next class has for me. Highly recommended!
A great course for beginners definitely worth it. I loved the fact that the curriculum is divided in several short videos and after each video you get to apply what you have learned in the challenge and afterwards combine everything you have learned in the homework and finally in the final project. A great introduction to coding - I have learnt so much these past few weeks. Really enjoyable and the videos were easy to follow. I expected more teaching in the third week rather than just the project, but a great experience overall! I would definitely recommend.
The lesson videos were clear and concise. Teaching was very structured, allowing me to practise what I learn through the small challenges and homework so it didn't feel too difficult and gave me confidence one step at a time to progress until the project at the end of the course.

Each module in this course comes in bite-sized videos and challenges, allowing beginners to cope with the learning process with ease, i.e. they are not too overwhelming and can be completed by mini-milestones. The weekly assignments' deadlines motivate students not to lose their momentum in this course and rest assured, students are not alone in this journey. The 'SheCodes' team will review the homework submitted, and students can reach out to other coders via Slack for help.
