I saw an add for SheCodes online and it instantly caught my eye. I currently work as a Business Analyst within an IT Dept and was looking to learn some extra skills. It's been almost 15 yrs since I learned any type of HTML and I was worried I wouldn't be able to squeeze it into my busy schedule. However SheCodes breaks each lesson into digestible parts which allows you to complete them throughout the day at your own pace. I love the Slack community and found it extremely helpful to search when I needed assistance. The challenges for each lesson and homework due each week was very beneficial and helped keep me on task! I enjoyed working on my project and discovered I truly love working with the design of websites. The feeling of accomplishment I get from completing this course is very inspiring and I think I have found my new favorite hobby that is actually productive. Who knows what the future holds! SheCodes Plus was a great learning experience! In just a few weeks we're able to deepen our HTML/CSS/JS knowledge, use GIT and GitHub, (finally) understand what an API really does, and put the development workflow we learnt in practice by building a weather app from scratch. I've had an amazing experience with SheCodes. I knew absolutely nothing about coding before joining SheCodes, and after just 3 weeks, I've been able to design my very own landing page using HTML, CSS as well as JAVA Script. It has been really fun, and the mentors are super helpful. I have always wanted to learn to code in any way possible, but never knew how or where to start. I know problem of a century. Covid-19 solved this problem for me by giving me time to actually find a course that sounded interesting, and oh boy this past 3 weeks by SheCodes flew by like a lightning. SheCodes Plus was a great challenge and a rewarding experience. Every week includes courses and exercises that allows you to learn and to build, step-by-step, your own application. SheCodes team was very helpful when I had questions and they check on your evolution during the course. I always wanted to understand coding better but never knew how to start and I have always looked at it as "a monster". A friend of mine signed up to SheCodes and called me up to the same. I must confess I do not regret it at all. The course gave me a great first glimpse into the world of coding and the way it is organized (the challenge of online classes was highly succeeded) and it is very instructive, providing you lots of fun! The team is super friendly, and knows how to explain things in an accessible way. SheCodes team creates an environment in which every question is valid and "not stupid" and everyone feels free to ask any doubt. I wanted to start coding for a while but couldn't find the right starting point. There is a lot of online material available, but it's so easy for a beginner to get lost in it! SheCodes provides everything you need to start coding - clear and structured material, challenges, that are adequate to your current knowledge level, a great teacher and a supportive team. And it was so much fun! After just one weekend, I learned so much and became "hungry" for more! Thank you guys, you are doing a great job!
When I took my multimedia master's degree I chose to take classes of "coding" HTML, CSS and PHP with SQL. The teacher was good but the truth is that I was very worried about getting the master's degree and I just memorized things. I left university wanting to escape everything that was frontend or backend... Until SheCodes came to me on Instagram post. And... I confess that I signed up to be sure that the "code world" might not be something for me. Completely wrong, Matt and SheCodes's team - in just two days of Workshop - gave me a new passion. SheCodes was an amazing experience...I was a bit terrified that I couldn't keep up, but Matt and all the team are really extraordinary! The SheCodes workshop for beginners was certainly the right choice as a first step into web developers' world! Matt is a great teacher and it makes coding look fun and challenging at the same time! With SheCodePlus, I was able to expand my basic coding knowledge and gain some insight to the current technologies used in web development. This was a great starting point in my pursuit of coding knowledge. The tech support team is responsive and supportive. The course is very fast-paced, and great for those with some knowledge, beyond the initial SheCodes program. A lot of material is presented in a short period of time. In hindsight, I have realized that a slower paced course would have personally been a better fit for the amount of material. But I am overall satisfied with the course. I will continue my pursuit of coding knowledge to further my understanding.

As a Product Owner I struggled to fully understand the developers on my team. SheCodes teached me that coding is not a crazy monsters and if you are curious enough a weekend is what it takes to ignite the coder in you.

I decided to join the SheCodes Workshop because knowing something of coding would help accelerate some processes in my current job and aid the communication with the IT team! I left the workshop convinced that this was the best thing I could have done for my company and myself! The way the workshop is designed is really motivating. You are constantly putting into practice the new learning and getting validation that you can actually make it - it is really empowering! Coding is not a seven-headed monster!
I come from a financial area and kind of tech friendly, but before the course I could never imagine that my knowledge doing macros in MS Excel (which looks a bit old fashioned in times of artificial intelligence) could be highly connected with JavaScript. The weekend was full of new concepts and the SheCodes methodology allowed Matt and the team challenge us at the same time we had lots of fun.

She Codes model, in my opinion, works very well and it’s a very well-built course that focus mainly on practice classes, where you have challenges and homework every week that forces you to actually code and put into practice what you’ve learned. I really enjoy the fact that classes are online and recorded, so we could see the videos many times if we had doubts. Also, I think the price is very competitive considering all other market offers and you really learn useful things and not a ton of unnecessary theory. Really enjoyed my time here and learned a lot! Not only did I discover a new skill I love, it led me to quit my actual job as a hospitality agent (I used to work in a hotel as a front desk agent)!! I am now investing my time in learning and practicing how to code and eventually get a job as a manager or elsewhat. Every single member in SheCodes team has an inspirational story and Matt is extremely positive when it comes to learning and being patient. I tried to code before with online tutorials and failed beacuse I needed the human approach and motivation, always reminding me to keep going and not quit. For that, a big THANK-YOU!!
I really enjoy this experience and recommend it to anyone interesting in coding! It was an intensive weekend but worthwhile. Matt is very pedagogical which makes complicated things seen much easier. A big thank you to Matt and his team!
I always thought that I would crash and burn but when I was about to, I always had this amazing team and colleagues to help me out whenever I needed! I would say that SheCodes it's big family and it's growing! I couldn't be more proud of myself for my achievements so far and also really proud of this family!! Keep up the good work!!
I have participated in the SheCodes Workshop and I've really enjoyed the experience. As someone who never coded before, it was an intense weekend and I was uncertain of the results I would get from SheCodes, I got very surprised when in the end I was able to learn some new skills and put them into practice when building my project. Matt is a very good teacher and all the team was amazing! I highly recommend this workshop to women who are interested in developing coding skills.
