This was a great course, I feel comfortable now reading and playing with the basics of html, css and java. As the head of a communications department I do alot of website updates and work closely with the IT team and this course will empower me to do more work independently on the websites!
This is a very cool course! I'm learn more about the functions in Java script and about GitHub, Netlify, Bootstrap and API. Many interesting lessons with even more interesting tasks - for me was a lot of fun. And as a conclusion - a personally made project "Weather App". Thanks SheCodes team!

Challenging but fun! Though it's online learning, I always managed to get the help I needed if I was stuck on something. I never thought I would be able to create my own weather app! The lessons were in bitesized videos so it's easy to digest and can go back if I needed to refer back to anything. Thanks SheCodes team, I can't wait to learn more!
I learned so incredibly much over just 3 weeks! I felt like I was actually learning relevant things that I could use in my job. I never coded an email before, and in my final project I was able to do it all by myself without asking anyone at work. Thank you Matt & SheCodes team.
I can recommend this workshop to everyone who wants to get new knowledge about coding and really want to get some deeper insights. It's great that you can go a long in your own pace (also faster if you want to). And if you have some issues or problems with your code the SheCodes team will always help you to go on. It was really fun to get the whole way down to learning React!
SheCodes Plus was a real challenge for me after completing the SheCodes intro workshop (no surprise there, we did dive into Javascript functions! 🤯). As someone who has never written a line of code before taking these SheCodes workshops, I am proud of myself for finishing this course with a functional project to show for it. What I liked most about SheCodes is that it allowed me to move at my own pace. I hit some road blocks, not fully understanding certain concepts as they got more advanced and wishing I had more time to process the information. The team at SheCodes was gracious about deadlines, giving me the time I needed to complete my work, and whenever I got stuck, I was able to post in the Slack channel for help. The moment when things started to click for me while working on my project, I felt so empowered and capable. I'm inspired to continue learning and to see where this road may lead me!
I really enjoyed the structure of this workshop. The lessons were short and very easy to follow, with challenges after each lessons which were pretty engaging. I took the Xmas break to invest in myself by taking a three-week SheCodes workshop. It took me a few days to get into the programming mood, but once I started working on the first chapters, time just flew by. And within a blink, the three weeks were over and I had finished my first own real live project, and I am so proud to have exposed myself to unknown territory and been able to come up with something I feel happy about. So thank you, Matt, and your excellent team for this exciting experience!
SheCodes is AMAZING! I've been majoring in Computer Science for over a year now, and I've been recently interested in front-end development and learning a few new languages. The workshops were the perfect place for me to get started over winter break! Matt takes things step-by-step and zooms in to explain the nitty gritty of the code. He neither makes it too long and superfluous nor too vague; it is just the right amount of explanation! In addition, you have this whole team of women around the world standing with you as a united force learning these new coding languages -- all of which are there at your disposal to help guide you and learn with you through Slack chat. Professional help is also available-- and they truly do help with whatever question or trouble you may have! (This is a unique twist from undergraduate help in college... ahaha.) Videos can be fast-forwarded 30 seconds or rewound for 30 seconds. You can always go back to previous lessons. The best part? A review of the video and significant concepts are left underneath each video. I have never encountered such a helpful platform to help me get started. Matt flawlessly lets us grow wings throughout the lessons as well so that we can find outside coding help and experiment for when we won't have a helpful guide in our future coding adventures. I recommend SheCodes to any woman interested in learning front-end development (website-building) or coding in general. What are you waiting for?
This is a fantastic beginner program for those interested in coding. I never thought I would learn as much as I did and enjoy it too. The information is laid out very well, easy to follow through and understand. Each step builds onto the other with ease. Matt takes what seems hard and lays it down in lay mans term. I really like the structure of Shecodes: bite-sized, digestible lessons; challenges after each lesson; homework each week and a big project in the end. The course is demanding, yet not less interesting and fun. Matt's instructions are really insightful and easy to understand. In only a few minutes, each lesson manages to tap into a new useful area. I really like the networking opportunities with SheCodes as well. The student support team here is also super fast, friendly and helpful. So far very good! There is so many different online choices but this makes a difference: workshop way of working (with homework, deadline and homeworks to submit) and possibility to have support from the SheCode team if you have some issues (kind of mentoring on demand). Continue offer great product & service! Small future suggestion: as some videos were done in the past, update new info/changes eg. What is the difference between JavaScript 6 and the newest one.
What an epic journey this workshop was! A truly magnificent experience, filled with hours of challenging excercises and lots of light bulb moments! I enjoyed every second of this workshop. Even with the challenges I have encounter, I did not wanted to stop coding. It felt like an addiction. No matter how hard the topic might be, Matt makes it super comprehensible and you end up building and coding stuff that you never thought would. Gotta give it to Matt and his team for helping me through the entire process with issues/questions I may have had. It was a super and exciting ride. I am still not done since I have to continue with the react workshop now and cannot wait!

In 2020 after 7 years of designing and managing IT projects, I have decided to learn software development, I wanted to know how to use all modern technologies, tools and frameworks. My experience in coding was limited to basic university program of c# and java. Thanks to SheCodes lessons (Plus and React) I have received updated and practical knowledge in order to build and maintain by myself web apps using HTML-CSS-JS or React.js framework. As a consequence I can now manage development teams even better than before or directly take a role of Front End dev in a project. Matt Delac is a great tutor, I appreciate a lot his mission! Now I am a certified Front End developer.
I recommend this course to any woman who is curious about stepping into the tech world. These courses that Matt and his team have designed are made to be easy to follow along, to ask questions along the way and most importantly challenge your creative and critical thinking skills as you create your own designs and applications.I knew nothing when I started and I am happy to now have completed the program entirely - in just under 6 months, too!
Well suited for beginners! The topics cover a lot of basic knowledges of web development. However, I would expect more examples like different types of website structures, etc. Overall, great job to all SheCodes team!
I have thoroughly enjoyed doing the 3 week introduction to coding, I feel confident to adjust and upgrade my sites and business with the skills I have learnt. I am dyslexic so thought it maybe to difficult follow and read the code however Matt explained everything clear and concisely so it was fast to pick up and put in to practice. Thank you so much for introducing me to something I think I have fallen for ! The constant support from the team was also wonderful so thank you all!!

It was hard but rewarding. Sometimes the smallest details have stopped me from going forward but the SheCodes team assisted me, clarifying my doubts and allowing me to continue. I always thought of coding as part of an elite, something that was so far outside my grasp. However, it has always been something that has really triggered an interest within me. But my main problem was not knowing how or where to begin, and that's when I came across SheCodes, a course that provides with all the tools and help you need to get started. Without a doubt, I signed up for my first 3 week workshop, and I was not disappointed! I have now changed career course and would love to explore the coding world even more! With the help and support from SheCodes, nothing is outside my grasp. I want to thank the SheCodes team for the support network they have set up for all of their students, and how they have enabled and opened up a world I didn't think "was meant for me".

I never thought about coding. I thought it was boring and not my kind of thing. Well.. I loved it! It's amazing to build something by yourself, it's amazing to understand what's behind all those letters and numbers. Each module in this course comes in bite-sized videos and challenges, allowing beginners to cope with the learning process with ease, i.e. they are not too overwhelming and can be completed by mini-milestones. The weekly assignments' deadlines motivate students not to lose their momentum in this course and rest assured, students are not alone in this journey. The 'SheCodes' team will review the homework submitted, and students can reach out to other coders via Slack for help.
I honestly never thought I would be able to learn JS, let alone finish a web app by myself! Especially after taking so many online tutorials/courses and ending up frustrated. After finishing the Intro to Coding I Workshop I just had to keep going and the Front End Development was the obvious next step. Matt is a fantastic teacher, explaining every step of the way as he goes along, and feel I have a pretty solid foundation on JS and Front End now to start my own projects now. Hello World;) I would like to recommend SheCodes workshops to everyone who is interested in coding! Basic SheCodes course is a great solution for all women who would like to see a kind of a demo version of HTML,CSS and Javascript :) After 3 weeks of learning with Matt, I managed to memorize and I'm able to use basic functions of mentioned languages. It was a lot of fun, too! Matt has a natural teaching talent, lessons are well structured,a student doesn't become overwhelmed at any point of time. Thanks a lot SheCodes team. Hi! I had no coding experience prior to SheCodes and I got surprised how much I could learn about it! I always thought coding is super difficult, but thanks to Matt's didactics I was able to build my first website! I also got a lot of support from Matt's team, which gave me more security and motivation! I highly recommend it!

SheCodes is very informative and through this we assess ouself with each chapter where we stand by solving the given challenges. The material given is very easy to understand, and if stucked in between, the Slack channel is always there to help.SheCodes Team is also responsive, whenever you need them you just drop mail and they will revert you within few hours. I think SheCodes is a great platform for females. I am very happy with SheCodes and I would like to suggest that SheCodes should include more coding workshops for languages like JAVA, PYTHON, etc.

I am so happy that I continued the advanced SheCodes Workshops. I experienced a lot of highs and lows during SheCodes Plus and I am so thankful to the SheCodes team on Slack for helping with all my questions. I'm so proud of myself for creating a functioning weather app. Four months ago I knew nothing about coding and now I have the skills to write code and I hope to continue growing as a new coder. I'm excited to learn SheCodes React

SheCodes is a great platform to start your coding career. I have always been in the engineering and technology industry and had a big interest to step into the coding world! With the help from SheCodes, I was able to learn JavaScript, HTML and CSS. There are no limits with coding and endless amount of creativity, I can't wait to continue my SheCodes journey into becoming a Front End Developer and gain a great understanding of React. I enrolled in SheCodes Plus after completing the Introduction to Coding Workshop. It was definitely a challenge at some points and took quite a bit of perseverance, but I completed it in the end! The team on Slack were so helpful and quick to help if I was struggling at all! I am so proud of myself for having completed this course, thank you so much SheCodes!
Little did I know about the wonderful journey I was getting started with and how mistaken I was about coding! The satisfaction that comes from completing every challenge and making your project is indescribable. With the help of Matt and his team, I learned that I won´t feel lost along the way if I just ask for some help and persevere until I find a possible solution because there is always one. Surprisingly, coding turned out to be a synonym for fun. I can't wait to get started with SheCodes Plus and SheCodes React. :)
SheCodes is the absolute BEST! I've done a few courses in the past, but non of them were very clear. Matt is a great teacher and explains things in a very simple way, easy to understand and follow! Thanks Matt and team, you guys are awesome!
I had a great time learning the basics of HTML, CSS and JS! Wish we went more in depth will a lot more about HTML coding, but great workshop to start with if you don't know the languages yet! Thank you to Matt and the team for pulling this off. Can't wait to discover more about front-end development.
Very challenging this Plus workshop 🙈😅!! Got it really frustrating in some occasions, but so much knowledge acquired in this past 6 weeks. In the end all ups and downs were so worth it 😀. Thanks to the entire SheCodes team for the support!
