After completing SheCodes Plus, I am glad I chose to enroll in SheCodes React. It was quiet challenging at the beginning but with the help of the team I was able to learn and enjoy the process. I was always curious about coding. I find it fascinating and I am naturally someone who likes to know how things are done. But - I didn't know that I would like it this much! The amount of information and knowledge that I have absorbed with the Basics Workshop was a complete surprise. I was not expecting for it to be such a hands-on course, especially it being remote. This workshop has given me precious tools to continue practicing, even more curiosity to keep it going and I can even apply some of my new knowledge into my job. I am glad I chose to enroll - thank you SheCodes team!
Following the SheCodes Plus Course was challenging, but once you start understanding how things work and seeing the results of your work, it is incredibly rewarding. Matt is a great instructor with very clear explanations and the rest of the team is very helpful whenever you get stuck. Highly recommend!

Having completed the SheCodes Basic workshop, I couldn't wait to start SheCodes Plus. I had learned so much in the first 3 weeks that I was excited to expand my knowledge and practical skills and this workshop didn't disappoint. The lessons were clear and easy to follow, with plenty of opportunity to practice and experiment with the skills being taught each week. The support team on slack have been super responsive and friendly too. I'm so proud of being able to go from a complete beginner to using advanced JS to build a functioning weather app in less than 3 months - thank you SheCodes!

It has been life changing for me and my confidences; let me explain, i had no clue i was able to understand something like this. school made it look so horrible and so complicated that i just didnt even want to try, after ignoring a lof of the adds of SheCodes i finally said "well....one more thing you can try and fail on...". and to be honest this has been one of the greatest things i have ever tryed, because it showed me things dont have to be complicated with a huge paper list of the if and else, and what we call in mexico a diagrama de flujo; that looked out of this world. so thank you a lot SheCodes for your team and the lessons, the best lesson i learned is why not to give it another try? even when you think your not good at it
Before SheCodes, I didn't know anything about coding. But this course is packed with challenges and deadlines making it very interesting to achieve all the assignments. Help is always nearby in Slack which I find very easy to use to communicate with the other students and the SheCodes team. The minute I started SheCodes Basics I was hooked. Writing code from the very beginning and figuring out how everything works has been so much fun. I finished the Basics class in January, then started SheCodes Plus in late March. The format worked really well for me, because I am currently a SAHM, so it was great being able to work around nap-times and in the evenings. Still, the weekly deadlines were also really useful to keep on track, which I think made SheCodes stand out for me. I also greatly appreciate that I was offered a discount, given I am currently not working. Creating this weather app from scratch was challenging at times, but Matt is a great teacher and I really value how much effort went into creating and planning this course. The video tutorials were always spot-on and I also loved learning about workflow and how to best organise your project. Building "Weather with Cheddar" gave me a lot of confidence, when I look back at the wireframe and now at the finished project, I can really see how far I have come. I know there is still heaps to learn and so many more problems to solve, but SheCodes Plus certainly gave me a solid foundation in understanding basic and some more advanced concepts in JavaScript. Thanks to everyone in the team for making this an overwhelmingly positive experience and also thanks to everyone in the Slack-community! I can't wait to start SheCodes React!

Now, more than ever before - women have the perfect opportunity to step up their game in the inevitable world of technology; which is not only beneficial for brain training and problem solving for any individual, but SheCodes also provides a chance for women to develop an efficient parent support - for the women with kids, or mums to be! Last of all, a good way to think about online learning, or in fact any learning "If it's not relevant in 5 years time, does it really matter?" I think this is a great way to learn the basics of this framework and all the really hard stuff about setting it up and how it differs from Vanilla JS. I enjoyed every coded string of this adventure! There was a lot of information so I'm definitely doing some revisions soon. Kudos to the Slack support team - they're always patient and ready to find that one missing letter/symbol/forgotten brackets that crash your code.

It was super intrigued and fun to work on two React projects in this course. Transforming all the ideas I had in the Plain JS version of the weather application to React was quite a headache for me, but at the same time really worth it. Special thanks to Joao for his support to get me out of React exhaustive loops. Also I find the what-to-do-next after SheCodes courses sent by SheCodes team very helpful. It's actually introduced me to Udacity courses to deepen my knowledge further in React.
I had tried to learn coding on many different platforms and felt like I was losing steam- until I joined SheCodes! As a busy mom with a full-time job, I don't have time for an intense full time bootcamp but I definitely needed a program with structure, deadlines, and a team ready to help. SheCodes fit that bill perfectly. I am excited to have turned in my Basics project and am quite proud of my work. I'm ready to embark onto the next workshop knowing my education is in good hands ♥️
All levels of workshops here in SheCodes was worth to take because in the end of the day you will find yourself very productive despite of being from zero coding skills. Sometimes it's depressing when you'll find yourself in the middle of nowhere when coding BUT with the great help of the SheCodes Team and the people behind it, you'll be able to be back on the fun of coding. I loved this course! After the free class and the 3 weeks workshop, I was hooked on coding and decided to go for the 8 weeks workshop. Working on the weather project was definitely challenging and a bit frustrating sometimes but then when everything came all together it was really satisfying! SheCodes (& the SheCodes team) allowed me to explore programming starting at level 0. I have no formal experience and was very scared to begin and continue the other workshops. But Matt is very good at explaining and the way the videoes are cut and made is perfect for online learning.The team is supportive and responds quickly to questions & the community jumps in to help too. i was too stubborn to use them for help during the first course, but the SheCodes cominuty have been a lifeline during this workshop. im excited to start on my final workshop soon!

In comparison to the introduction workshop, this one was really challenging for me as I already had basic HTML and CSS knowledge, but not JavaScript. I tried the "going it alone" route by watching Youtube videos and became immediately overwhelmed and confused. After seeing the SheCodes ads while watching videos, I clicked on the ad and decided to try out the Free Coding Class that SheCodes offers. And I am so glad I did. I needed structure and community in order to learn how to code and Matt was the perfect instructor. He "decoded" coding for me and I realized this isn't just a phase - I really enjoy coding and I am looking forward to taking the next classes so I can continue to develop this new skillset. React has been more challenging than the previous workshops but still very fun and enriching. SheCodes is an amazing course! The videos are very informative, in a step by step way that allows you to practice and apply every new skill. You can easily adapt the pace of your learning and build your own schedule. There are many resources available and great support from the SheCodes team and the SheCodes community. Can't wait for SheCodes+ :)

I've always been so curious about coding, but never took the step to commit to a course to learn more until recently. Now I've completed the SheCodes Workshop, I can't believe I left it so long! I am so proud of what I've achieved and it's completely demystified everything I thought about coding. I would highly recommend SheCodes to anyone who's ever wanted to test the 'coding waters'. The classes stretch and challenge you - all at a really good pace - and the support which is available beyond the workshops, is so helpful. There's also nothing more satisfying than that lightbulb moment where your code works! I can't believe how much I've been able to learn, thanks to SheCodes - thanks a lot to Matt and his amazing team.
