This workshop was definitely harder and more confunsing than the previous ones, but Matt and the team on Slack made it easy to learn and navigate around React. I couldn't recomend SheCodes more!
This workshop is a great intro to coding. I love that it gives you all the basics and a support team on Slack yet also teaches you to be an independent learner and do your own research.
I took this course to find out if coding was something I enjoyed and wanted to pursue as a career change. Thanks to Matt and the SheCodes team, I feel confident that this is just the beginning of my coding career and I am excited for what my future holds. The projects were fun and challenging but always do-able! I especially enjoyed the access to the community on Slack and the SheCodes team members.

This workshop was my third from SheCodes. Coding is challenging but with the guidance SheCodes team, it is easier! I love the personal approach to the students and the help behind the projects. Pursuing the advanced courses of SheCodes Plus was a worthwhile effort. Before SheCodes, I'd been going through self-teaching coding courses and nearly gave up. I'm glad I didn't. With SheCodes Basics, all the concepts I'd been trying to understand and figure out had finally clicked and I knew I was on the right path for me. Matt and his team provide the support and encouragement to keep going when the work gets super challenging. Moving on to SheCodes React now...
SheCodesPlus has been both a fun and challenging journey for me! I enjoyed the fact that I could watch the video lessons as many times as I needed and I could even go back to them after a while in case of doubts! Matt's explanations are clear and easy to follow and the support team on Slack is really competent, kind and helpful! I am really appreciative of all of the hard work behind building/maintaining this project and of the great working opportunities many of us are going to get from the newly-acquired knowledge.

Robust beginning in the world of coding. There are all tools for getting a clear idea of what coding is and how to apply it in your sphere of activity. I was glad that I got my initial knowledge in a company where curriculum and tasks are wonderfully thought out and the team is always ready to help with the assimilation of material).

I have never before thought about doing coding, until a friend suggested my to check SheCodes. The whole Basic course was great, and the schedule allowed me to keep working alongside with following the lessons! I cannnot wait to start the Plus workshop! With the explanations given plus searching online yourself, you learn a lot. It is a lot of fun and super interesting. Not to forget that the team is GREAT!
Wow, this was definitely more challenging than the intro course, but I had a lot of fun building my weather app project. I had no prior experience about coding before but I learned a lot in SheCodes. I never really had the confidence to finish this course but the workshop was really beginner friendly and the support of the SheCodes team from Slack helped me to push through despite the frustrations! SheCodes Plus was a huge challenge for me. But I learned a lot more and I feel like I am way more confident in my markup language skills and JavaScript. Lessons are always easy to follow and understand and complex subjects are explained in plain English so as to not confuse you more. I am grateful for the SheCodes team and all of the help they gave me when I was frustrated and needed help to solve a problem. I would recommend this course to any woman who wants to learn the skill of coding/programming. 10/10! Excited for the next one!

I have learned so many interesting and useful things during SheCodes Plus workshop. Everything was clear because Matt explains every piece of code into details. I also appreciate that he does not share too much information, so I am never overwhelmed. Sometimes it was so good to hear from him something like "You do not need to understand this right now." I have finally completed the React course of SheCodes. It's a lot of hard work, but it's also very fun (personally I enjoyed the React course WAY more than the SheCodes Plus course)! I was motivated with seeing my progress in real-time, and as always Matt's instruction is remarkable and easy to understand and follow. The rest of the SheCodes team is very helpful in answering questions as well. I love the fact that we can review course materials and videos as many times as we want, and that we have lifetime access to our completed course workshops! I'm definitely going to review and refer back to what I learned in my React course throughout my ongoing coding journey. I have learned so, so much. With SheCodes, I was able to learn to code from literally no experience at all, all the way to being comfortable with JavaScript React. I encourage any and all women interested in learning how to code to learn with SheCodes. I've learned HTML and some CSS and no JavaScript at all prior. I signed up for this workshop as a way to dip my feet into web development with the ultimate aim of switching careers into tech. The workshop structure made it easy to learn the basic introductory concepts for each of the three programming languages. The short video lessons (with supplemental documentation) taught the concepts in small manageable chunks. The lesson challenge exercises, solution thereafter, weekly assignment, and finally the project force you apply the concepts all the while keeping you accountable so you start AND finish the workshop. Great workshop on the basics. I enjoyed it. Thank you Matt and the SheCodes team!
I had very little coding experience prior to this class and was a bit nervous to take it. I'm so glad I did! It was fun to learn the basics and convenient that we could do the videos and assignments at our own pace. My new knowledge and skills will help me to be a stronger asset to my team.
Having completed shecodesBasics, I really enjoyed it and decided to take the next step to ShecodesPlus. This one was much more challenging and it took me much longer than expected (due to being on maternity leave and looking after a young baby full time!). The team are very understanding and supportive and I genuinely don't think there is another course out there like this one. Thanks so much to the Shecodes team for producing this course for people like me! Definitely taking it even further and going on to do React as I've learnt so much already and keen to learn more!
