I highly recommend SheCodes React! The lesson challenges and projects were great incorporations of hands-on learning. The material is clearly and concisely presented, and Matt's style of teaching is very engaging and demonstrates a multilayered understanding of effective communication, inviting students to thoroughly interact with, connect to, assimilate, and apply the learning material in each lesson and project. The SheCodes team was incredibly helpful, always answering questions quickly and effectively clarifying any points of confusion or uncertainty with the learning material and projects. I truly enjoyed creating my React projects, and starting my journey of learning React with SheCodes was a wonderful experience!

I am filled with so much joy for completing the SheCodes Plus, I must confess that it was challenging though as a beginner in the coding career in the midst of taking care of my baby girl and the sister of 2 years plus. It can only be God. Seeing myself building a Weather App gave me so much joy even with the help of the SheCodes Team making sure they put us in order where we can't figure some problems. I was looking to up-skill myself and came across SheCodes. The Workshop was interesting and it motivated me to learn the skills in detail that I already knew in bits and pieces, understand the basics and build on top of it, enhance the skill with latest trends. SheCodes gives the flexibility to learn at own pace but with moderation which is very impressive. It is a nice and well organised platform.The courses are designed in an approachable way, the team is very helpful and keeps us on track. Homework are checked and you get your results in email which is encouraging. SheCodes is doing some amazing things for women globally, and it's so exciting that I got to be a part of that! I loved that participating in a course was also helping women in developing countries to be able to do the same!

SheCodes Basics is a great course for making an introduction to the world of front-end development. Especially when you don’t really know what the essence of the profession is and what tasks you will have to solve in the process of work. In one learning space, you can learn the basics of not only html and CSS, but also JavaScript too. A cycle of short lessons prevents you from overloading your brain and getting confused when learning a new material. I want to thank the SheCodes team that allowed me to take the SheCodes Basics course.
То be honest I was never attracted by computer, video games or IT. It was always an extra effort for me. Something that I need to do, rather than want to. But with time I have realised that IT sphere is impossible to ignore in our times. It covers all the areas of our life, personal or professional, and in the end makes our lives more easier. So I have decided that I need to change my attitude towards it because whenever I will work I'll certainly need to deal with one or another side of IT. And here I have heard about Shecodes. At first, I was pretty sceptic about the course but I gave it a chance. And have never regretted it. It helped me to make my transition possible by making coding accessible, fun and rather easy to understand! And the team as well as the whole community were super helpful when I was stuck. So if someone wants to dive into coding from level 0, I can't imagine a better platform to do it!

Programming was something I never saw myself capable of doing. I had mistaken ideas about my suitability for it that were dissolved by Matt's first introductory session, ie the day I became obsessed with wanting to code. The SheCodes Basics Course has motivated me everyday to learn, practice and understand better. The lessons are clear, the challenges and homework concretise the knowledge gained and are challenging enough without being daunting! The team is on hand always to help out, and the female community is absolutely fantastic and so encouraging.

"Wow, very sophisticated, very powerful and very tricky!" - that's what I thought every single day learning React. I found the explanations a bit too fast from time to time but with a little research I was able to figure it out. Even though, I think that React is not really for me, as always the course gave me lots of interesting and fascinating insights into the world of coding which I value a lot, just like my whole coding journey - so thanks a lot, Matt and the SheCodes team 👌!

I attended a free SheCodes class at a really low point in the pandemic for my mental health; After the free workshop I became increasingly interested in the career possibilities of a switch to working in tech. I completed the SheCodes Basics program with a working knowledge of basic HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I am able to create a basic, functioning, interactive webpage. I had tried a free coding camp previously but the content was not suited to my learning style, and they did not show us how to use actual coding tools such as VS Code and Colorzilla. I finished that course feeling more confused than when I started, online with SheCodes, where I actually learned useful things that I will be able to apply irl outside of the courses. The SheCodes course material is perfectly suited to my visual learning style, and being able to go back and reference the videos at any time, as well as work alongside them in real-time in VS Code, was extremely helpful. I feel confident in my knowledge and abilities. The Slack group is also an amazing resource and any question I asked was answered within an hour. There is a big sense of community and teamwork, and it is clear that everyone wants each other to succeed. I started the SheCodes Plus course this week and have already learned even more! What I really love about the experience is that I came into it not really knowing anything about computers, and thinking it would be hard to learn. However, Matt and the SheCodes team have created a program that is easy to learn, just the right amount of challenging, and most of all, fun! I will absolutely be recommending SheCodes to any woman in my life who may be interested in learning how to code. Its an amazing and extremely fun experience, and I cant wait to learn even more!

I had always found coding to be very intimidating but since I began to learn with SheCodes I have really enjoyed it! Each lesson is very clear and easy to understand. I love that I was able to work at my own pace and had help from classmates on Slack. Any time I had any questions for the SheCodes team they got back to me right away, even on weekends, and were very helpful! I look forward to continuing into the next workshop.

Wow! I think I've just attended the most user friendly, clearly explained, concise workshop ever. I received some precious basic info alongside tips while having fun and in a very rewarding manner, with achievements and help given along the way. The only regret I have is preparing for med school in highschool instead of learning the basics in html, css & JavaScript.
