An incredible experience! I had always heard about html, JS, etc. and had no idea it was something I could do too. Thanks to Matt and the whole SheCodes team. I am looking forward to learn more with SheCodes workshops.
I have now taken 3 courses from SheCodes (Basics, Plus and Responsive) and each round of curriculum flows naturally into the next. My skills from Basics helped me feel confident in Plus and that curriculum helped me when I got to Responsive. When I was first taking my Basics course, I couldn't wait to reach that point in my education where I felt really confident about my web-development skills. I feel like I am at that point now, which makes me very excited to start the React material. I have nothing but words of praise for the SheCodes team and Matt. The material in each lesson is very thorough and detailed. I think one of the most valuable characteristics of these courses is that you get to watch Matt code and literally watch his train of thought go through the lines of code as he goes. He voices when he makes a mistake and shows you how to fix it. I have all the appreciation in the world for this organization.
I really appreciate being given a chance to study coding with SheCodes team! I consider the course named SheCodes Basics extermely benefitial due to an absolutely exraordinary approach to teaching and presenting the material. Matt Delac managed to twist playfully such complicated things as HTML, CSS and JS in one short course, which saves my time dearly, makes me search for extra information, and helps to start thinking as a Front-end developer.
The best courses ever!!! You explain everything very clearly, sometimes with the riddles but thus even better, i have time to search for more information what makes my skills much stronger! This basic course is 100% effective. Matt explained the basics step by step, first HTML then CSS and JS. I have already known about the coding languages, but these explanations helped understand the logic of coding process. This course I, like most Ukrainians, joined in times I was forced to pack up an emergency suitcase because of the war to start everything from the scratch away from home. This suitcase could not contain what I really wanted to keep in — loved ones, important words, and my own resilience. Amount of new knowledge, structured approach, challenging tasks and support from SheCodes team and other students made my progress not only in coding but what is more important in my ability to learn new things and get back my inner strength. It's a little bittersweet because this is my last workshop. SheCodes React was exciting and challenging, and I completely had to "step away" from my computer a few times as Matt usually suggests to do when we are stuck :). I'll forever be grateful for these workshops and I hope to build on what I've learned over the last few months as I continue my journey towards a career in tech. I really enjoyed learning how to code with SheCodes. Matt Delac explains everything pretty clear in his lessons. You have enough time and possibility to practice new information - almost every lesson has one challenge, at the end of this lecture you can also check, how this challenge (of course it will be not the only one solution, because your code can be also correct) should be done and improve your solution. This has been such an exciting, mind-blowing, challenging and rewarding experience! I have always been fascinated by coding but it seemed too complex to even consider. When I started reading that through SheCodes it was possible to learn how to code without the need for previous knowledge, I got excited! Matt's videos are so easy to follow. SheCodes makes it fun and simple to learn coding! I love the challenges after each lesson. They help put the lessons into practice so you don't forget. SheCodes Team are quick to answer questions in Slack and provide helpful support.
The SheCodes Basics workshop was excellent. The video tutorials were clear and provided step-by-step guidance for the topics in html, css, and javascript. I learned a lot but it was not overwhelming. Once I completed the final project, I realized JUST how much I have learned over the course of this workshop. I'm super proud of myself. I particularly like that you never feel alone or without community because the Slack workspace has a ton of students going through the same challenges as you and you get answers to your questions from the SheCodes team in usually less than 24 hours. Fantastic experience that I would recommend to anyone who interested in getting started with the basics.

Wow! I just built my personal website! That is amazing. I loved building it, but it did become a little stressfull in the end. I wanted to make a beautiful website and realised I don't have much 'design' experience. But.. you don't need that too much actually. Keep focused and you can make a beautiful website with the help of Matthieu and the team!
It was very exciting and interesting to start lerning, but I'm happy that did it with SheCodes. The information and lessons are very structured and clear. I can't recommend SheCodes highly enough! I had so much fun making this weather app, it was the perfect balance of challenging and rewarding. Didn't think I would enjoy spending evenings after work plugging away on VScode so much! The videos and homework assignments from Matt and the support provided by the SheCodes team was so helpful in getting my head around the coding fundamentals, I don't think I would have made it this far without it!

I majored in English and creative writing in college, going off the notion that I'm a predominantly right-brained individual. Never did I expect a well-placed ad for a free introductory coding course to help awaken my dormant left brain! SheCodes made the seemingly esoteric completely accessible to me. It re-ignited my passion for world-building and opened my eyes to a beautiful new way to understand and approach our digital universe. Not only did Matthue and the SheCodes team gird me with the foundation for an invaluable set of skills, but they also empowered me to keep at my learning, to lean on a community of like-minded go-getters, and to persevere through the tougher moments of frustration. I've not felt this excited to explore and expand my mind in so long, and I can't thank (or recommend) SheCodes enough!
I can't believe that I just finished the last workshop and that my SheCodes journey ends here. Thank you for everything, SheCodes-Team! You were so helpful and supportive on my journey as a web developer. I remember how nervous I had been at the beginning even when I just had to alert or console.log something. Fast forward to now: I created two fully functioning apps that make api calls and have a value. I found SheCodes Basics workshop to be very easy to follow along with and simple to learn. Coming from a background with no knowledge of coding, I was a bit scared that I wouldn't understand the material. Turns out I found a true passion for creating CSS HTML and Javascript during the 3 week Basics workshop! I wasn't expecting to gain so much knowledge in so little time. I took a chance after attending one of the free one hour workshops and I feel confident that I've found a new career path! Thanks to Matt Delac and the SheCodes Team! I really enjoyed the SheCodes Basic workshop. This course is great for beginner coders, but also helps refreshing your memory in case your last encounter with html, CSS & Javascript has been a while back. I especially liked that you can take the course at your own pace, but are still motivated to push forward due to the homework deadlines. If you encounter any problems or have questions you have a great community of other coders welcome you to the class and help you with any problems. Also, the SheCodes Team itself is there to answer questions if one is in need. The review of the homework is done rather quick, so you receive your feedback quite fast. Most of the tasks I found relatively easy to handle due to the good explanations in the workshop videos. And with some more challenging tasks in between you really had to learn how to research answers by yourself which in my opinion prepares you well for the future as lots of times, you'll have to research how certain things are done. I am very motivated to continue deepening my skills and feel that I have a good foundation to build further knowledge upon.
