Another great workshop finished, thanks to the SheCodes team! Bootstrap knowledge and skills in responsive design were definitely bumped up. One thing I wish, if we kept learning JS, it would be a more comprehensive workshop, as we all know, skills that are not used vanish too fast.
Building the dictionary React App was the most fun I had throughout all my Shecodes workshops. As always, I got so much help from the Shecodes Team on slack that gave me the courage and confidence to break my code and experiment on my own without the worry of getting stuck and not finding my way out.

I just completed my she codes basic level and I feel so confident. It is explained step-by-step and its very detailed. This course was definitely more challenging than the basics one, but it once again pushed me to learn and go more in depth with coding. Thankful for the support of the SheCodes team, but most especially the solid curriculum that Matt's built.
Iv always been passionate about learning to code as I find it challenging and interesting especially whilst working closely with developers. I just couldn't find the right course however, when heard about 'SheCodes' thought id give it a try. Enrolling was the best thing I did I have already learnt how to code using CSS, HTML, JavaScript and Editor which is great achievement for me. I like the way the course is broken down to small weekly workshops, lessons and homework all of which was easy to grasp. Despite the challenges faced while taking this course, I was able to write complex codes without being overwhelmed. SheCodes is a great platform to learn coding from the basics to the professional level with the help of their online guided tutorials and responsive teams via slack. I faced difficult tasks: to develop a weather application and a dictionary application in React.js. For me it was very interesting because the projects have practical application. Started with SheCodes Basic and then took SheCodes Plus. SheCodes Plus was a huge step from the Basics and found myself frustrated at times, but the support from the SheCodes Team was always there. I learned so much from this course and would definitely recommend it. I look forward to practicing what I learned but I am so incredibly proud of what I achieved.
The courses are challenging but well worth the time spent studying. Anyone can become competent at learning how to code with SheCodes foundation. Thank you to the whole team for your support and encouragement!
What I particularly like about the course is 'step-by-step' approach to teaching and mentoring. The course is split into lessons, each comes with amount of information just right to understand and use. A lot of scaffolding and support from the team really help to make new complex ideas easy to comprehend. Every new thing I was learning I put into practice right away while working on the course project. By the end of the course, I had created a working web app and it was even a little sad to finish the project and the course but I also have a great feeling of accomplishment. I would definitely recommend this course 😊✨

I am so glad I decided to take this online course. I was surprised by how much the Basics program taught me. I can finally say that I built a website! My website could have been more technical, though I require more knowledge. Learning about coding is interesting to me. Knowing this, I do wish to pursue coding as a career! This program is an insight into front-end development. Thankfully, Matt provides step-by-step videos for each lesson. If you get confused with assignments, there is a group chat (Slack) with students and team members who can aid you. I advise anyone interested in coding to at least try the Basics program to get their feet wet.
