I've never seen myself as a person in tech - even though I have a full tech degree haha. So the biggest surprise was to find out that's I can actually be one, if I want to. Even more - I can spend hour's with a code and not getting bored (only slightly tired)). Being a complete beginner in the field of coding I expected to have lots of difficulties during the course. But it turned out to be such an exciting journey! The course is so well-organized that I have managed to do everything without asking for help (though there is such an opportunity, which is great of course). The lessons are given in a very logical order, every task is challenging but quite feasible. The lectures are well-detailed and explanatory, it can be taken anywhere and anytime, flexible you can apply for adjustment when extremely busy or technical issues at ones quota. In addition, the assignment can be tasking a times especially when there is bug, 😃😃 thanks to the slack channel 👍🏻 team admin that always come to my aid. WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE.
The three weeks of training at the SheCodes BASICS course were extremely interesting🤩 and educational🤓, but, unfortunately, ended very quickly. I really liked: interactive online platform (special thanks for the design😍); easy and understandable teaching of the material; structured schedule with deadlines; execution of my own 1st project at the end of the course. I would like to pay attention to Introducing SheCodes Coding Tools: CSS Color Palettes and CSS Gradients. These tools are fantastic and make every project better. A lot of thanks to Matt Delac and the SheCodes team for the cool spending time and new coding skills. I really appreciate the learning opportunity I got through the SheCodes Foundation program.

I loved learning responsive web design. Seeing pages come to live and respond to different screens was thrilling. I didn't need a lot of hand holding with this course but I still heard from the SheCodes team on Slack checking on my progress which is great.
This workshop gave me life-changing knowledge about coders and coding. It was difficult for me sometimes to find solutions to implement my ideas and then debug my code ahah. Every minute and every attempt was worth it. Shout out to SheCodes team!

I enjoyed the other SheCodes workshops (Basic and Plus), but the React workshop was very disappointing. The help from the SheCodes Slack channel was pretty apathetic - my questions and the questions of other students were often "answered" with really short and thoughtless responses that made it clear that the team was not actually looking very closely at our issues. At the time of writing this testimonial, React is on version 18, but Matt is teaching version 16 after making a big to-do about always teaching us the latest version. The changes between the two aren't that significant, but they were significant enough that it made completing challenges more difficult than they should have been. I am also appalled at how often I have heard "just Google it" during this course. I paid to learn React, have someone walk me through the terminology, and follow a step-by-step guide, NOT to read forum after forum of coding jargon I don't understand. It was also very disheartening to have to complete a weather application YET AGAIN after going through it once (or twice, if you count the last two weeks of the program) in the Plus course. All in all, I did learn about React during this course, but I feel completely unprepared to tackle it in any scenario outside of a weather app.
This is amazing!!! A couple of months ago, I had a vague idea about programming. Now I can make the site the way I want. Coding is a very exciting process! I am very grateful to Matt Delac and his team for the opportunity to receive this necessary and useful knowledge.
