It has not been an easy journey for past few weeks but with help of slack pupils and SheCodes team, I managed to get through.
The SheCodes React course has been the hardest one so far, no doubt about it. React is a powerful and in-demand framework, but getting the hang of it wasn’t easy. There were times when I felt really challenged, but the support from the team on Slack was absolutely amazing and helped me push through every hurdle. By the end of the course, I was able to build a fully functioning app on my own, and the sense of accomplishment was incredible. This course has brought me so much closer to my goal of becoming a professional developer, and even though it was tough, it was 100% worth it.
I am grateful to the SheCodes team for this opportunity. The workshops are well-structured and very engaging. I thoroughly enjoyed the lessons and challenges and look forward to continuing with the classes.

I enjoyed this "Basics Add-on" course SO much. This time, I learned in-depth about CSS and styling the landing page that I created. There was a moment where it became a bit frustrating, but I got immediate lend a hand by a fellow student. She helped me crack the code. It wasn't easy and a bit advance for me at this level, but I get through this with the help I needed. I'm hoping I can be as agile–in coding–as her in the future! After about 20 years spent in the tourism industry, I decided to start a brand new career path. It all started with an add promoting coding workshops for women. So far, the coding world appeared to me as daunting and out of reach. It was not. Within one webinar, I was hooked. It was possible. I could do it. I am doing it. This was a really great crash course into Reactjs! I actually signed up for this workshop 2 years ago but due to life getting in the way I ended up pausing on finishing this even though I was on week 5 of the course. 2 years later I finally had the time to invest back in myself and I logged back on recently. I pulled up my half-finished project and I, to my amazement, could still remember quite alot of what i had learned in 2022. I ended up rewatching all the courses over this last week and half or so just to refresh myself on the content and I was able to finally finish my weather app! It's not perfect but i'm really proud of the fact I finished it. Super thankful to the shecodes team for the quality of the teachings, so much so that I was able to remember so much of the foundational pieces even years later. I had fun learning about all the new updates to Reactjs as well!

I just want to share a quick note and let you know that the instructor along with his team really do a great job. I'm glad I decided to join SheCodes as I am enjoying coding. Its really great how the team explains and make us understand if we did not understand in the videos. Moreover I enjoy creating these landing pages. This was a excellent course to really solidify some of the more challenging coding skills I learnt. Although some of the areas were difficult, the lessons and homework were great at helping you along and the Shecodes team were also super responsive to any issues or questions I had.
I’m incredibly grateful to Matt and his amazing team for guiding me through the final journey of the SheCodes Responsive Workshop, as part of the SheCodes Foundation. I gained a deep understanding of building responsive websites, learning key techniques like Flexbox and Bootstrap. Matt’s teaching went beyond the basics, covering everything from the fundamentals of responsive design to more advanced topics like SEO-friendly practices. I’m excited to continue honing my skills and applying what I’ve learned in real-world projects!
For me, developing a weather app was a really fulfilling and thrilling experience. I was excited to be able to merge my love of real-time data applications and my enthusiasm for coding when I started the project. I was immediately enthralled with the process of creating a visually appealing and useful user interface. I had a lot of fun playing around with different color schemes and layouts to create an entertaining and functional app. The integration of the API to retrieve weather data, however, was the true magic. The ability of the program to dynamically display data that was pulled from outside sources was intriguing to watch. It was thrilling to learn how to manage data, handle the complexities of API queries, and make sure the app reacted correctly to user input. Debugging and improving the app to make sure it effortlessly supplied real-time weather updates was a problem-solving exercise that I really loved. All in all, it was an excellent opportunity to combine creativity and study. Witnessing my concepts materialize into a workable program that I could distribute to others was exhilarating. In addition to improving my technical abilities, this project stoked my desire to take on more challenging and creative programming tasks in the future. Another thank you to the SheCodes team.

The SheCodes content is engaging and easy to follow, the learning format with challenges and homework is great to make sure you are understanding the content.
