I was initially skeptical about joining the SheCodes bootcamp, having tried various other coding courses in the past that were not straightforward and left me constantly filling gaps by watching YouTube videos on my own time. However, from the very start of the SheCodes degree program, Matt's explanations were clear and made the learning process much easier. I found that I barely had to use any external help, which was a refreshing change. The team were also incredibly responsive and helpful whenever I had general enquiries or issues with my work. Overall, I had an excellent experience with SheCodes and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get into coding. The program was well-structured and easy to follow, and the support provided by the SheCodes team was second to none. I'm now much more confident in my coding abilities and excited to continue my learning journey in this exciting field.
It was a wonderful experience! A professional team that will promptly help with all questions and difficulties. But there were not many questions, as the video tutorials are very clear and visual. It's nice to see the result of creativity in the form of a working application :) I would just like to ask you to add subtitles, because with them it will be easier for foreigners to learn the material in English. Not everything can be immediately understood by ear, so you need to reduce the playback speed, which slows down the process. SheCodes is really the best way to learn to code. The video explanations are easy to understand and easy to follow. Having finished the Basic workshop, I saw how the team really thought of the smallest things that would help the participants in their learning journey. They provided all these additional resources which are very useful to beginners: cheatsheets, tools, fast support from the team, and access to a community of learners, etc.

I was excited to find SheCodes as a woman with an interest in coding. Now that I've finished their program, I can confidently say that it has been one of the most enjoyable and stimulating experiences of my life. we all know that learning to code wasn't that easy especially for a newbie, there were times that I felt stuck, but SheCodes team is there to help. What makes SheCodes enjoyable is how they have organized the lessons. The program is designed in a way that the material is broken down into manageable and easy-to-follow pieces, with each lesson building on the previous one. The pace of the program is set perfectly to be challenging enough to keep the learner interested, without being overwhelming enough to make them want to quit.

I am 25 and a stay at home mom. I came across SheCodes on a social media platform. I really appreciated that they had a free 1 hour class to discuss what they do, how they work, and how easy it can be to learn coding, through them. Being a stay at home mom has its difficulties, and I really appreciated that it wasn't time consuming. It did still take a lot of effort, but I finished the basic course, and really LOVED my entire experience. I have now completed the plus course, I truly feel I have found a love for coding and am excited for the opportunities it can bring me and my family. I can't wait to see what's to come after this. SheCodes Basics was soooo fun! I found it very interesting how HTML elements and javascript works. Exploring all CSS options, color palettes and gradients was super fun playing around with the colors and refreshing the page to see what it looks like! I would totally recommend SheCodes to all women who work with developers and who wants to learn how to create web pages. Thanks so much Matt and the whole team! I had an incredible time learning a new skill. I was very afraid to start at first, but after taking a couple of lessons, I knew right away that I could take it easy. All lessons are explained in simple and accessible language, followed by assignments that, even without a lot of memorizing the theory, help you easily learn the material you've learned. I always want to stay updated and know the latest technology. When I found "SheCodes" I got very interested to dive deeper and learn working procedures, devops, backend development, which could be difficult to learn on our own, but even during this first, basic course I have been able to push my limits. I really love that I'm part of a team, that I have someone that is reviewing my work, that I am able to ask questions, that I get very good at debugging (since I also can help other student's with their problems through Slack) and the lesson setup with just right amount of information to get me going on the right track. I'm looking forward to the next workshop.
