SheCodes Basics was a great way to start learning Web Development! The lessons are thorough, easy to follow up and the homework and project really put together all the information we learned over the last weeks. Two of my favourite things about the last weeks: the way the course is designed still pushes you to research on your own, which I found challenging but rewarding. Also, the fact that the course allows for self management - you can choose the times that better suit you, there are deadlines but all the classes are recorded so people who work or have other responsibilities can manage to learn and build a new career for themselves. Thank you, Matt and the team, for making it fun to learn a new language 🙃 we'll meet again in SheCodes Max 😄
In SheCodes Plus I used SheCodes's team support in Slack many times and It was really useful. I think that this online support in doing homework is a very huge advantage. You may have access to many courses for coding but without friendly support to do exercises and homework you may become frustrated of struggling to fix the bugs.
React course is definitely the most challenging one. And I am so grateful to SheCodes team and Matt for explaining everything step by step, for supporting and encouraging. I'm completely happy by the results of this workshop.

I never knew this part of coding (integration of API and Hosting) existed and could be done with ease until I took this course, I had a drill - I learnt a lot from this course. I had the most challenging yet fun time learning the basics of Front End with SheCodes. I'm impressed I actually got to finish the project which couldn't be real without the amazing SheCodes team assisting during the whole learning journey. Some of the parts were especially hard to understand, but Matt made sure each lesson has a detailed and step-by-step explanation. Learning the basics of coding has been as intense as challenging but at the same time really enjoyable and in a way, easy. The videos are really efficient and Matthieu's explainations cannot be clearer. I could not complete the week 1 homework and challenges in due time but it was easy to request an extension, and the team was very understanding. I found the course very flexible, fun and interesting. I feel like I really understand how HTML, CSS and Javascript work, and feel more confident for the future. I was starting a UX design course at the same time, and was hoping to learn about the basics of coding since employers often like potential UX designers to be able to communicate and understand developers. I feel so much more confident now with the basic but yet thorought and solid knowledge SheCodes gave me!
I am 25 and a stay at home mom. I came across SheCodes on a social media platform. I really appreciated that they had a free 1 hour class to discuss what they do, how they work, and how easy it can be to learn coding, through them. Being a stay at home mom has its difficulties, and I really appreciated that it wasn't time consuming. It did still take a lot of effort, but I finished the basic course, and really LOVED my entire experience. I have now completed the plus course, I truly feel I have found a love for coding and am excited for the opportunities it can bring me and my family. I can't wait to see what's to come after this. I recently attended a coding workshop and I have to say, it was an incredible experience. While the challenges were difficult at times, they were also a lot of fun. The tutorials were very in-depth and Matt's teaching style was incredibly effective. He managed to break down complex concepts into understandable bits and pieces, which made it easier for me to follow along. One of the best things about the workshop was the Slack chat. It was an incredibly helpful resource, and I found that I was able to get answers to my questions very quickly. Additionally, I was able to get extensions on my project, which was a huge help. This allowed me to work at my own pace and to ensure that I was producing quality work. Overall, I highly recommend this workshop to anyone who is interested in coding. The challenges and tutorials will definitely push you out of your comfort zone, but the knowledge and skills you will gain are well worth it. SheCodes is really the best way to learn to code. The video explanations are easy to understand and easy to follow. Having finished the Basic workshop, I saw how the team really thought of the smallest things that would help the participants in their learning journey. They provided all these additional resources which are very useful to beginners: cheatsheets, tools, fast support from the team, and access to a community of learners, etc.

They were things I just thought I would not be able to do in this lifetime. For example build an actual weather app that shows the current date, temperature, time and the forecast for the next day. This workshop is perfectly designed for someone who has no background in this industry. I found it very useful and fun, but hard. Search engine was not easy to code, but thanks to the help of the team on Slack and all the material provided it was possible. SheCodes is my first step towards changing career paths and I think this coding bootcamp is really good, so im looking forward to start with the next conding workshop.

I had a lot of fun, it is great to have a challenge with most of the lectures to apply what you have learned and I loved to have actual results in the end that I can show to others. I started this course to get some basic knowledge in coding as I am trying to change careers into UX Design and be better equipped to talk to developers, but I might just change course completely and switch to coding ... I am not sure yet, the jury is still out there. But who knows?
