I started this program a while ago, I had a lot of setbacks but I am so glad they have an option of getting an extension. SheCodes Plus was quite challenging, especially for me, as I started without any technical background. However, the curriculum was very well thought out; it began with a review of basics, followed by the introduction of one concept in each lesson. Finally, we had two weeks of review, akin to assembling pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. Matt Dellac is a phenomenal teacher; his amazing teaching style made the workshop more engaging and down-to-earth. At times, I felt like he was reading my mind and answering my questions 😅. I still feel like a toddler in my coding journey, but I’m not afraid because the incredible SheCodes Team has always been there to help me. I have learned a lot in the SheCodes Plus course. I've been surprised at how quickly I picked up the API integration, this goes to show what a fantastic teacher Matt is. Using SheCodes own API resources has allowed me the choice to challenge myself further than what is shown in the learning section. This opportunity has given me a lot more confidence in my abilities. A few months ago I took a leap of faith and joined SheCodes foundation. I had the opportunity of creating a web page from scratch, this has improved my skills in HTML, CSS, JS and VS Code. And his perfectionism is a big plus! I have taken quite a number of courses but struggled with understanding and completing them. With SheCodes I had a different experience, our Tutor Matt made it so easy to understand all the concepts and I never had to battle with imposter syndrome like I did in the previous courses I took.
