Amazing course! Matt is a great teacher and goes in-depth into each topic he talks about so it is easy to understand and reviews topics throughout the course as a refresher which I found very helpful when completing my final project and understanding what I had learned!

After the React workshop, the Adds-on is definitely a must. You become more aware of everything you still have to learn about react but it gives you a necessary extra boost of confidence. The more you practice the better, specially if there are people guiding you and supporting you. Matt is a great teacher with a great team. I highly recommend to follow the full SheCodes program with every Adds-on if you are taking becoming a front-end seriously. As someone with no IT background, I thought to myself "what have I gotten myself into this time around?", the moment I saw all the codes that I couldn't read or understand, I really thought I wouldn't even finish the Intro course as I didn't even have the confident to continue with the first lesson, but to my surprise I fell in love with coding and wanting to code more and it was all because of my wonderful instructor Matt. He made coding seem very easy and enjoyable, which made me want to learn more about coding. I'm glad I decided to join SheCodes, it's amazing how quickly one can acquire new skills so fast only because of this wonderful workshop and great teacher, who made it easy and enjoyable to learn.

Shecodes is the best foundation ever. When I started this journey I did not know anything about coding but Shecodes assessments help you understand better and example that they have give you better understand. Matt is a great teacher he explains everything and although the classes are online but you will feel like he’s talking to face-to -face . For me SheCodes helped me understand coding to another level with clear and understandable lessons. I recently got hired for a new and exciting role in my school division (I am a teacher) as an Educational Technology Coordinator. A part of my role will also be working with computers and computer science, so I wanted to get a headstart this summer on improving my basic coding skills. From the first webinar, I knew that SheCodes would be a great program fit for me. You can go at your own pace, however, I found it really easy to complete the lessons and homework earlier than anticipated. The entire SheCodes Basics program was so easy to follow - I loved the lessons and Matt is a wonderful teacher who explains things. You can tell he is very passionate about coding and has so much knowledge to share. I learned many practical tips. The homework is challenging, however, with supports like the Slack channel and Athena AI, I had no issues. I've decided that after completing the Basics Program, I am definitely going to continue my SheCodes journey! I cannot wait to continue to learn and grow with this program. This community of women is very inspiring.

I found SheCodes a year ago and join the free webinar. After taking the webinar I was scared that I wouldn't be able to learn how to code. Fast forward to now I decided to take a leap of faith in June. I signed up and I am glad I did. Matt is wonderful teacher. He really puts a lot of thought in to each lesson and I really appreciate that. I have been in the IT field for 2 years now and coding was one for the goals that I had made for myself to accomplish. Matt is an outstanding teacher! He is incredibly talented at simplifying complex concepts and at introducing the correct pieces of information sequentially in order to build foundational knowledge. Also, he has a very kind & soothing voice and demeanor. When listening to multiple hours of lectures, it's extremely helpful to enjoy the teacher's voice and personality. He's also funny and adds in bits of humor to some recordings. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
