At SheCodes, I had the opportunity to study the fundamentals of Front-end, which provided me with a solid base of knowledge in the area. At first, I was a little afraid to follow the classes in English. However, the teacher uses a language simple and intuitive, which allowed me to fully understand all the lessons. This accessible approach made learning easier and more rewarding for me.
SheCodes Responsive was a real game changer. Providing so much valuable techniques once again. Gaining knowledge about multiple pages, advanced HTML links, CSS variables and advanced flexbox techniques as well as how to integrate Bootstrap. Using Bootstrap CSS Utility classes, responsive grids, images and navigation is awesome. Learning about Responsive Testing, CSS Media Queries, Multiple page Hosting and SEO. Last but not least we got into UI Design, using Wireframe techniques and Figma to start coding our portfolio multipage project. Merci 🙏🏽 to the best teacher 🚀

What an incredible adventure and accomplishment! I set out to complete the entire SheCodes Max program in under 90 days and did it in about 82 days! I currently work full-time as a high school Spanish teacher, so I dedicated nights, weekends, and holidays to my SheCodes training. I have learned an incredible amount of information, gained skills, and created a project portfolio to share with prospective employers. After several failed attempts to try and learn how to code, I finally felt comfortable to be a beginner and capable of fulfilling the tasks thanks to the admirable way we are taught. Before, I watched other videos on coding, but found it too dry to continue learning. Years ago, I attempted a Computer Programming major, but had to change it, due to instructors' approach to instruction that was counterintuitive. Thank you Matt, for empowering many women, including myself, in our entry into the tech field. You are a great teacher! Of all coding programs out there, this is the most special and unique one. JavaScript was the most challenging to learn, but I still learned it better here, than from anyone else. Soon, I look forward to being paid to build landing pages.

Starting these workshops is always intimidating but I am constantly pleasantly surprised at how challenging it is but also so figure-outable. Matt is a great teacher, the slack community is great and now we have athena our own personal AI assistant. It is challenging but there are so many ways to help you through it. So it ends up being quiet exciting and encouraging to be a shecodes student.

I had a lot of fun during the 3 week SheCodes course, loved doing the challenges and the teachers were amazing making everything clear. I started from scratch and now I am building my way through coding... Thanks to the SheCodes team.
I am so grateful for this amazing opportunity to learn coding. I have experienced many educational programs in my life, I am a psychologist-coach, teacher and educational author, and I can honestly say that this was the best course ever. Course structure: The lessons are incredibly well structured, showing excellent insight in what the student is going through. For example, just when I felt like I needed to review the previous material because it was getting a little bit overwhelming, the next lesson - week 7- was a recap in which everything we had learnt was reviewed. Course content: Next to that, each lesson was a tiny step, so I never felt lost or confused. This is a key point to the course: it could seem incredibly overwhelming, but because of the small steps you suddenly arrive at the destination without realizing it! Individual learning path: The program also gives you the option to choose which level you want to engage in. For instance, the final project had two options, a basic and a more ellaborate one. And when working on the weekly challenges you can ask for help or get some hints if you want to. In terms of what we learn, I have consulted with software developers and they say it's a very complete program. Support! The SheCodes team is also very supportive and responsive: they are always available on Slack or email to answer any questions or help with any issues very quickly so when things got challenging it was nice to know that they were there. Their tone was always very friendly and they always put a smile on my face. Also, through Slack, other students help as well. SheCodes community: Last but not least, what really makes this experience unforgettable is the sense of community that the course creates. The SheCodes Radio we got from Matt just did it for me :) :). Thank you SheCodes! I enrolled in the Basic Course and then I immediately signed up for the Max course. Now that the Plus course is almost over, I am so glad I did, because I don't want to stop here! If you doubt whether to enrol or not, just DO IT! You will be so happy you did!
With all the workshops I achieved with SheCodes, I can tell I'm good in coding, already. 😅👩💻 But unfortunatly school is needed to get a serious job and at least 5 years of experience... 🫤 So I won't stop studiying after Shecodes but it really is the best way to learn and with the best teacher of all time. These 3 weeks that i spent coding with SheCodes Basics has been absolutely exceptional.
