I come from a healthcare background, so I was a bit intimidated to start a coding course. I was happily surprised! After getting used to the set-up, I was able to understand and complete the challenges and projects with more ease than I expected. Matt is a great teacher and when I had questions, they were easy to post and receive answers about on Slack. I am so glad that I decided to start this and plan to continue all the way through!

I heard so much appraisal of SheCodes before, but I never realized how amazing this workshop would be until I participated myself. so I highly recommend SheCodes specially to those women who tend to learn coding without attending in computer school or any related major in university. why? because Matt Delac is the best programming teacher I've ever had. I put off learning how to code because for the longest time, I didn't know where to start! The format of SheCodes teaching is by far the best I've experienced. The learn at your own pace and in bite-sized chunks makes it easier to learn and somewhat addictive at the same time - you actually want to go to the next workshop to build on your knowledge. The fact that there is no fixed time for the classes and you can fit into your schedule is also great! I am shocked at what I have been able to create in just three weeks! Matt is a BRILLIANT teacher! I can't thank the SheCodes team enough for such an amazing programme (and I got it at a bargain - thanks Black Friday!) I really would recommend this course to anyone who has considered coding, but may not know where to start. You really won't regret it!

So many ideas to do a really cool and interactive dictionary. Awesome Basic Workshop! A fantastic beginning class, a great middle between challenging but attainable. I learned a LOT and can't wait to continue on to the other courses. I really enjoyed the challenges at the end of each lesson, which helped to build and solidify my knowledge. I did have to take notes and re-watch some videos, but I quickly learned that's okay! Be kind to yourself and have fun and you will make it through! Matt's videos are easy to understand and follow--great teacher.
I have tried a few different classes, and SheCodes is by far the best one in terms of teaching method and learning curve. I am so proud of what I learned in the basics course and how fast it went! Also, kudos to Matt for being a great teacher and really letting his passion for coding shine through the courses.

Learning how to code with SheCodes was a really great experience. Although I only did, for the moment, the SheCodes Basic Workshop, and obviously I'm still not a coder or programmer, I now understand how coding works and can create a basic website. The workshops are very dynamic, Matt is an excellent teacher and whenever we get stuck help is at a distance of a click. I started with the feeling that coding was way too complicated but it's really not that difficult. Plus, I had a lot of fun.
I have been trying to learn JavaScript for a while and have taken many courses but haven't understood the language as much as I wanted to until taking this course. Matt is an excellent teacher, explains the topics thoroughly, and keeps the lessons interesting. This course made me excited to code again!
This is such a great way to learn code! The lessons are short enough to not get bored, but you still learn a lot in those minutes. You get to choose when to work on it, but you still feel enough pressure from the deadlines to continue working. Matt is a great teacher, and you enjoy doing the challenges! I have zero complaints :)

I was terrible at computer coding when I was in high school and really struggled with the basics. After watching the free class, I finally understood what my teacher had been trying to get through to me all those years ago. I've finished the first three weeks and I'm continuing on in the program. It's still a struggle sometimes, but there's lots of support from the SheCodes staff as well as all my fellow SheCoders, so I know I can succeed.
I'm from Marketing and Communications, so this kind of courses are sooo totally out of my comfort zone. But Matt is a great teacher and I was able to understand him without a problem. This courses are awesome! Looking forward to continue!

I really enjoyed SheCodes basic workshop for two main reasons: first it has been taught in a pretty simple way including great examples and explanations which made the learning process very sweet and interesting. It was also fun. I must admit that Matt Delac is truly a great teacher. I spent hours watching videos and didn't notice that it was passing so fast. Second, the assignments had been designed so well that let the students practice the lessons in a highly productive and challenging way. Having completed the other SheCodes courses, I was very excited when this one was announced, and couldn't wait to sign up. The information around creating responsive layouts is a very helpful component when building sophisticated and professional-looking sites, and the introductory knowledge about SEO, what it is and how and why you should incorporate it into your site is something that a lot of people will find very useful. I have since gone on to look more into the web analytics side of things, but this course gave me an excellent start in this area. As always, Matt is an excellent teacher, and I highly recommend this SheCodes course to those looking to expand their coding and website-building skills.
I have learned so much being a part of SheCodes. After completing SheCodes Basics, I went on to sign up for SheCodes Plus, and I plan to finish Responsive and React! I am constantly amazed at how much I have learned and how I have grown. I started out with no coding knowledge or experience and can now read, write, and understand code. I really loved the 3 weeks spent on the Basics course! It was well paced and Matt was a great teacher. He broke down the concepts into digestible short videos that were easy to follow. It's been such an interesting 3 weeks. I took a complete interest in coding after succeeding to build my first HTML page from the free 60mins video guide on SheCodes. I found it fascinating. Being given an opportunity to learn coding by the SheCodes foundation through their scholarship program has been exciting. In 3 weeks I have learned the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The method of teaching is simplified and very relatable. I like the fact that we are encouraged to do more research of our own, as well as to find out other ways to solve specific problems and not compelled to reproduce the teacher's solution. Thanks to SheCodes I look forward to learning more and becoming a full-time developer.

I have no experience in coding. I didn't even know what it was really, until a couple months ago. I was nervous to try, and even more nervous to take a boot camp. I am horrible at school. I have had so much fun for the past 3 weeks with SheCodes Basics! I can't believe how much I have learned in just 3 weeks. I have been working as an IT Service Desk Analyst for 10 years and I was desperately looking for something better. I have been working closely with our development team for the past 2 years. At first, I was so intimidated sitting in their meetings because I didn't understand a thing and I thought you had to be some kind of genius to do that kind of work. Then slowly I began to understand what they were talking about and became familiar with some of the lingo. I started wondering if I could do it too. I tried two other learning programs online and became frustrated and felt defeated. Then I saw an advertisement on a YouTube video for SheCodes and decided to check it out. I'm so glad I did! After watching the free introductory class I knew this was it for me and it would change my life. I signed up for all of the workshops and I can't wait to start SheCodes Plus! SheCodes React was challenging but so rewarding. It was my fourth and final course and I am so happy that I discovered SheCodes half a year ago. Easy to follow, fun to see a blank code sheet turn into an app that works. The trickiest part is was the words one wrong spelling can crash the whole thing. The teachers are very helpful as well.

Matt is a great teacher and I enjoyed a lot the small challenges and homeworks. I am impressed by how much I learned in just 3 weeks.
I have tried other introductory bootcamps, but this is by far the best! Great teacher, pacing, and it is fun!
