She Codes was such an amazing experience to learn the basics of coding in a step by step fashion. I took the class to have a better understanding of what coding is, as a teacher that now has to teach coding as a part of the curriculum. However, I am now so excited to continue to develop these skills as a creative outlet.
Fabulous, fun course, really enjoyed learning the basics! Would really recommend to anyone who has an interest but isn't sure. Matt is a great teacher, his instructions are clear and the videos solutions reinforce knowledge. This course has been pedagogically designed and considered so that learners really come away with a strong foundation to build from.

I wanted to start this journey a long time ago and as starting is the most difficult part of every adventure , fear was eating my courage for breakfast every time I opened VS code. This time everything was different. I got a huge dose of knowledge, inspiration and a bunch of ideas how coding lets you paint your dreams in a digital reality... even if you're an opera singer who lives in an abstract world of her own fairytale... I’ve got to say that I’m really impressed by SheCodes Plus content. Matt it’s a very good teacher and the staff on Slack it’s always available for you if needed. I’m a criminal law Ph.D. candidate using my “free” time (and brain) to do the courses. It’s not easy to manage everything together, but it’s doable. You’ll need to dedicate yourself to it, maybe more than 5h a week, and practice as much as you can, trying new things inside your challenges and homework. The course will give you a full understanding of how to work with JS and put your code online, the rest it’s up to you. Practicing and exploring is crucial, especially if you want to pursue a development career. SheCodes it’s a very good first step into it!

The workshop was great, but I wish we got to learn more. The third week wasn't anything new - just a quick summary of what we learned in weeks one and two. I feel like that time could have been used better. Otherwise, the workshop was fun and Matt is a good teacher.

SheCodes is the best project to start in IT. Here you not only learn, you also create your own projects. An excellent teacher Matt Delac and an excellent team SheCodes will always support you! The lesson was great and teacher taught everything clear. The only problem that I had it was that checking the homeworks included too much time; 48hours for each homework!.
I am so grateful to SheCodes team for these courses. I started my coding journey 7 months ago thinking that I would never be able to understand the complexities of code and now I learned so much and gained so much in autonomy over the last months that I feel that I can go further on my own. SheCodes taught me something essential that I use in everything I do, being able to troubleshoot yourself. I tried to apply that along the whole cours but when I had a more serious issue, the SheCodes team was there to help. Wish I could continue on this journey even further with them but I managed to get to the end and I'm so proud and thankful to all of them. SheCodes is ah-mazing! Matt is an excellent teacher and does such a great job breaking down seemingly difficult technical concepts. The Slack channels are invaluable for working with other students and the rest of the SheCodes team for feedback on your work. This isn't my first workshop and certainly won't be my last.

The SheCodes Basics workshop has been very useful for me as a complete beginner and has helped me to start my journey of coding. The ability to double-check yourself even when something does not work out, the clear structure and logic of the presentation of the material - everything is at the highest level. SheCodes Basic was such a fantastic course and a really affordable way to find out if coding is right for you. I never thought it would be right for me, but after taking the free 1 hour workshop Matt offers, I understood the basics of coding, for the first time ever! He is such a great teacher and really makes difficult concepts seem so easy and he gives lots of amazing tips. I also love the mix of bite-size lessons and hands-on activities which really helped consolidate my understanding. Would 100% recommend it!!
