I was a complete amateur when I started the SheCodes workshops and I've learned so much since then. I thought learning React was going to be a bit more difficult than it was, but I got through it with ease and Matt explained everything well. When I did have issues, I had good support from the team through Slack. I'm bummed that this is my last workshop, but excited to see where this coding journey will bring me.
I can't believe how much I learned in the last couple of weeks. Thank you so much to Matt and the entire SheCodes Team for creating this amazing course and for all the support. I had so much fun learning to code and am looking forward to using my new skills in further projects.

I have really enjoyed learning to code with SheCodes! It's definitely challenging but you also really feel a sense of achievement when you figure it out. SheCodes Plus was certainly challenging for me. I had experienced a number of predicaments during this course. When I sought for help from the SheCodes support team, they offered me external sources to get educated on which I had struggled to understand. Also, I learned a lot from a student I came across whose project I found amazing and educational. As I reached out to her, she kindly replied to my message and shared her experience in coding. I have been truly enjoying my coding journey through SheCodes. It is truly fulfilling when I get to solve the issues and make my codes work. I cannot wait to learn with SheCodes further.
Thanks SheCodes, I have really gotten so much out of this program. It helped me to get into further coding studying at a university and a digital jobs program through the government in my country. I'm really excited about everything that I learned, and I can't wait to keep learning more. I appreciate the style of teaching, the supportive teachers in Slack, and I'm shocked at what I've been able to build in just a few short months, and the way that this has allowed me to springboard into understanding more complex courses and code. I never would have dreamed what I have created would have been possible for me, thank you.
Very happy but more sad that the workshops are over. I completed all of them with a long break halfway through. React was the best workshop as it was a lot about advancing in front-end frameworks, structuring code and building something very interesting from scratch. The projects were the parts I enjoyed most as for me it is more important to have something to show instead of "just" a certificate. I felt guided and supported throughout the workshops with a great balance between autonomy and dependence. I really liked that Matt is so authentic when the code didn't work, e.g. "my god this is the kind of stuff you could spend hours on fixing this" made my day. 🥐🥰
I absolutely LOVED this experience! It was challenging but the needed support was provided through slack and cheat sheets. I loved the self-paced aspect of it. I love the challenges and appreciated the hands-on practice.

I thoroughly enjoyed taking the self-paced Basics class at SheCodes. Matt is an awesome instructor and while classes are pre-recorded, I felt as if they were live because Matt was engaging, entertaining, and really broke down concepts to make them understandable. I loved having the lessons and homework as a I learn by doing. I also had a ton of support with the SheCodes Slack community and was able to ask for help when needed or check the threads for tips and guidance on assignments.
I really enjoyed this course and would highly recommend it to any woman who is interested in taking her first steps in coding. Matt's instruction videos are easy to follow and I liked the hands-on approach. Another plus is the amazing support team that offers quick solutions in case you get stuck with any homework or challenge. Overall, I am pretty amazed at how much I was able to learn in such a short amount of time.

Another project finished and a new skill getting to a new level. I loved building the Weather application. It was very challenging and fun project that allowed me to learn more about JavaScript, HTML, CSS, GitHub, Bootstrap and APIs. Actually React is too difficult for understanding when having only basic knowledge of JavaScript. I'm grateful SheCodes Support Team for their care and patience. Guys, you are cool! I wouldn’t have created two projects for three weeks without you. Dear girls future students, if you don't know what is it coding but want to do it, I would recommend you apply to SheCodes and try it. Here you will learn what it's HTML / CSS / JavaSrcipt, will work with different libraries, will know how to integrate to your project API. And of course, you will eat a peck of salt with Node.js and React.js. I envy you that you have this fascinating journey yet to come. Wish you happy coding!

I tried every book and online workshop there was to try to learn coding but nothing worked until I decided to try SheCodes. The videos are very detailed and easy to follow and the team is very supportive and quick to respond if you get stuck and need help.

I had no coding experience before taking shecodes basics and I love it. The instructor, Matt was clear in explaining the lessons. There is a supportive community that answers every question you have. Totally recommend it.
A friend of a friend did SheCodes and she really liked it, so I decided to give it a try. It's pretty straightforward and easy to follow, enough that you don't really need to utilize the support team. That said, if you're thinking of trying SheCodes for the first time, I recommend taking a more advanced course. In the Basics workshop final project, I kept researching how to do certain things I wanted, and it only made me feel that I had so much more to learn.

It was an incredible journey! Making my App work was one of the best feelings in my life. And you know what? Creating the application in vanilla JavaScript sure showed me why frameworks are so important even before I finished it and started React part :D I am grateful to all the SheCodes team and Matt Delac for this exciting start in my coding future. SheCodes team helped me to learn easily with practice, step by step. None of the video lessons made me bored, they just could not - the length, the amount of info is perfect for a video lesson to me. Most of the lessons are paired with assignments, so it was a good way for me not to escape practicing, but instead find myself actually coding and creating pieces of web pages from the air - an amazing feeling, I was happy to come up with a working piece of code every time as a kid! Enormous support on every single question from thousands of students - responses received daily, timely, and warmly. I enjoyed learning coding with SheCodes a lot, with them it's super easy to achieve results.
SheCodes Plus course was not easy at all. I had to work hard, reviewing points and comments in video lessons again and again. I was a former college woman's basketball player and towards the end of my senior year, I was blessed enough to stumble upon the free class that SheCodes was offering. I've always loved puzzles, solving problems, and creativity so once I took the class, discovered how interested I was in coding and creating different bodies of work. I was a student so I was able to receive a discount that really helped me be able to take the class. Five months later, I am now graduated and finished with my 3rd workshop! I was so nervous to round the corners towards project submission time - instead of the manner of pacing and learning becoming intensive or convoluted, I was awash with relief to have maintained the relaxing step-by-step lesson structure and support. I feel more confident now than ever previous :) .

After each video lesson, it seems that everything is very simple - and that I can do everything easily, but in fact, it turns out that everything is more complicated than it seems at first glance. What I especially liked in the course is that CSS, HTML and JavaScript are not studied separately from each other - but in interaction with each other - when you understand how one or another element can be used in practice - such information is remembered much better. This course really opened a different new path for me. I would recommend it to anyone who wants advanced JS knowledge, one of the most useful and smart coding languages. Everything was well explained, we were given the required materials and there was constant support on slack channel in case we were stuck.

The course fully justified itself. Good submission of material, constant support in the slack channel, interesting challenges. At the end of the course, you will create your own weather application, and understand the main aspects of how to make this application live.
