I have had a lot of fun completing the SheCodes Basics course. I am excited by the skills I have learnt and have signed up to the Plus course because I am keen to learn more. I am currently acting as support to UX designers, but who knows, one day I might be a designer instead 🤔🤩
I loved every second of this course! Matt's explanations and videos are super fun and easy to understand. This has been a very challenging project. This is a great introduction to the world of coding, I had to get used to the disappointment of the code I wrote not always working and to asking for help. I wouldn't say that if I had to do it all over again I would be able to, without the help of tech support and Matt's videos. At the same time I have definitely learned a lot about APIs, Github, Sandbox, and everything else introduced in this workshop.
SheCodes has been an amazing course. I have felt fully supported the whole way and had so much fun! It's been such an exciting experience and I can't wait to start the next step!

SheCodes has been an amazing experience. I was a little hesitant at first, as I learnt to code in a statistical software during my masters, but I unfortunately did not enjoy the experience. Nonetheless SheCodes has been an amazing experience. The lessons are very interactive and Matt does an amazing job of breaking down the concepts related to HTML, CSS and Java Script. I loved the fact that staff & students were readily available to support with any questions that I may have regarding my code or certain topics. I have throughly enjoyed my experience and will definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone who is interested in learning about the field of coding.

Iv always been passionate about learning to code as I find it challenging and interesting especially whilst working closely with developers. I just couldn't find the right course however, when heard about 'SheCodes' thought id give it a try. Enrolling was the best thing I did I have already learnt how to code using CSS, HTML, JavaScript and Editor which is great achievement for me. I like the way the course is broken down to small weekly workshops, lessons and homework all of which was easy to grasp. Thanks Matt your teaching technique is amazing and the support from the team on slack is on point! Look forward to doing the next course and learn more!

This part of the workshop was much more challenging and some lessons were even difficult to grasp but it was very well explained, I only had to watch the lesson again and practice to get the handle of it. It all felt very rewarding by the time I finished this project. Highly recommend this! Support has been amazing.

Yeey, I finished the Responsive course! I’m still happy with SheCodes and this is my third course – only one more to go (the React course)! I faced difficult tasks: to develop a weather application and a dictionary application in React.js. For me it was very interesting because the projects have practical application. I myself use such applications and I have always been interested in how it works from the inside. Thanks to Meth and the team for the helpful projects and for support during their realization.

I knew nothing about coding before the course. Now after finishing the course I have a basic understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript. I've had a lot fun during these three weeks. Having small challenges and weekly homework keeps you engaged throughout the weeks. The community and the support have been great and of course Matt's videos have been easy to follow along.

Started with SheCodes Basic and then took SheCodes Plus. SheCodes Plus was a huge step from the Basics and found myself frustrated at times, but the support from the SheCodes Team was always there. I learned so much from this course and would definitely recommend it. I look forward to practicing what I learned but I am so incredibly proud of what I achieved.
The courses are challenging but well worth the time spent studying. Anyone can become competent at learning how to code with SheCodes foundation. Thank you to the whole team for your support and encouragement!
What I particularly like about the course is 'step-by-step' approach to teaching and mentoring. The course is split into lessons, each comes with amount of information just right to understand and use. A lot of scaffolding and support from the team really help to make new complex ideas easy to comprehend. Every new thing I was learning I put into practice right away while working on the course project. By the end of the course, I had created a working web app and it was even a little sad to finish the project and the course but I also have a great feeling of accomplishment. I would definitely recommend this course 😊✨
I really liked the course. At times it was difficult, but it helped to revise the lecture, or visit support chats. I didn't really enjoy working in codesandbox. Because constantly something buggy and incorrectly displayed when encoding. Working in Visual Studio is much more pleasant. Thank you very much for this learning opportunity! I am interested and I hope that in the future I will be able to apply this knowledge in practice.

This workshop has been quite the ride! So much guidance every step plus online support for when you just can't get it working the way you are intending. There was so much information and techniques in these few weeks that I feel I am more comfortable using HTML, CSS, and even Javascript. Building a real working web app is such a fantastic way of truly understanding the concepts of how these languages all work together to create something fun and useful.

This workshop was fantastic! I loved how each lesson built upon the previous one. Matt is a great teacher, he explains what he's doing and why he's doing it. After struggling with self-directed learning, I was looking for somewhere I could get more support and feedback and also keep me on track each week. I'm so glad I found SheCodes! I recently migrated to Australia from the US. I have zero experience with coding! I want to start a career in tech and I was referred to SheCodes from a colleague. This three week workshop has been challenging at times, but wow the resources and the way the lessons are designed you have all the support you need to figure out the solution. Also, with my current employer I work daily with our dev team and this hands-on knowledge I am/will be learning can help me immediately in my current role during my conversations with customer onboards during the integration process with different CRM’s to our LMS software. I plan to continue onto the SheCodes plus program and fingers crossed I will succeed in becoming a developer one day!

I have always been interesting in coding, however I assumed it was very mathematical and something I couldn't understand. That was absolutely not the case! these courses break down each topic in a way that is easy to comprehend. There is a welcoming community that allows open you to seek help if needed and feel supported! such an amazing community !
This was my very first introduction to coding and I believe SheCodes was the right choice. I really enjoyed the format of the SheCodes Basics program - structured with lessons and homework, but you still had the freedom to go at your own pace through out each week. I also really liked being a part of the Slack community - everyone is willing to help if they can and then you have the support of SheCodes as well.
After 6 months of intense online workshop together I am at the end of my path with SheCodes React that add another milestone to rich me of knowledge about the coding world. Thank you so much to everyone in the team. Appreciated your support and reminder weekly to permit me to stay on track with the program. I will for sure recommend all SheCodes courses to whom is interested on changing work and find another path. SheCodes has given me a lot and I now can fly alone. The Basics workshops are a great introduction to anyone who is interested in coding. I felt both challenged and supported during these three weeks.
In just three weeks, I went from having zero knowledge of programming to understanding all the basics, which is absolutely amazing! What I liked the most about it is that you can get live support via Slack whenever you are stuck in an exercise, which comes quite in handy, I would say. I am truly grateful for this experience and with everyone who made this possible.

I managed to complete all tasks because of wonderful support and instructions! Lessons were not overloaded. And also I appreciate that sometimes Matt left a small piece of items for us to search in Google by ourselves. That`s a nice idea of challenge! SheCodes Plus is a challenging yet intriguing course. I've deepened my knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JS. The way Matt provides bite-sized explanations, challenges, and support is on a high level. Front-end development is challenging and needs a lot of dedicated practice. So, my journey only starts. I enjoyed that students were taught to use GitHub, Netlify. Working with API's is challenging and real fun. SheCodes Plus is highly recommended to everyone!

The SheCodes React workshop was fun and challenging. It was a pleasant experience to turn the vanilla JavaScript weather app from the Plus workshop into React in this workshop. The Slack Channel provided good support. Many students struggle with similar problems thus I could find answers to most of my questions on the Slack Channel.
I like this course very much! For me it was such an challenge: I thought that coding is should be very difficult... And firstly it was not so easy for me to find a time for studying, because I have family with two childern, little dog and full-time work. So that I felt quite stressed. But in process I began to enjoy coding, and final project helped me to understand what I can do it in fun way :) A lot of thanks to all SheCodes family for the support and inspiration!

Dear friends the course, SheCodes Plus was very interesting. It was not easy, not everything could be programmed at once, but there was a support team to help.
