I loved the SheCodes Basic workshop! The lessons were perfectly explained and broken down into short and easy to understand videos. SheCodes is an amazing option for people who have little to no knowledge in coding and truly want to learn. Matt is an amazing teacher and the SheCodes community is so uplifting and supportive. I definitely will be attending another workshop in the future!

I would highly recommend SheCodes. Not only is Matt a great teacher, but the fact that money from the workshops goes to fund the SheCodes Foundation to support women around the world is a bonus. Until now I have struggled with coding, it never seemed to 'click' with me. After being laid off from work the week before Christmas I decided to do something to boost my hireability. After completing this workshop I actually feel that I can code. It has been a major confidence boost and I look forward to continuing with more advanced SheCodes workshops.
After doing the She Codes Basics course I got a taste of coding and I loved the challenge so I jumped in and decided to continue my coding journey. At times challenging, but so rewarding when you can see your hard work coming together. Great lessons, that you can follow along with, and a cool and knowledgeable support team and community on Slack if you ever get stuck. So amazing! I am a UX Designer. I learned how to code back in university mainly backend languages (java, python), and being a designer I wanted to better understand developers' perspectives when handing off designs for development. This was the perfect workshop for a good refresher on the basics of front-end development. I love how the concepts are broken down really well which makes it easier to grasp information and love the supportive community on slack.

It is truly one of the best schools and methodologies for teaching programming, which is suitable for self-organized people. Because Matt explains everything very clearly in his lessons, there is a very convenient Slack where you can find answers to your questions about challenges or homework. As a person working in health care, the world of programming has always seemed very mysterious and intimidating to me, but this course has really made it interesting and enjoyable. The tools and resources SheCodes provides are super helpful and the lessons are clear and thorough. Also, the community that SheCodes team has built is wonderful, everyone is very supportive and cooperative. I would definitely recommend the Basics course if you want to get acquainted with coding in a fun and easily digestible way.

The instructor, Matt, did a great job of keeping the videos engaging and concise, and the support team was very helpful and responsive on Slack. I never had to worry about falling behind because the pace of the course was manageable and there was always someone available to help me when I needed it. It was a challenging but rewarding experience, and I feel confident in my new skills!

Very fun and interesting workshop. Very happy with what we have learned. The pace and level of what you learn is also great. However, the videos could be updated and more prepared. They seem a bit "off the cuff", which - for the price of the course - could and should have been avoided. Good support on slack, but it can take time to get the level of support needed - and this led to me having to use extensions unnecessarily. Also, when attempting to fix some parts of the app - we are told that we cannot get support/help to solve this as that is something covered in a later workshop that is not a part of the course I have paid for - this is disappointing. But all in all - a great introduction to coding!

SheCodes workshop was my first contact with coding and I strongly recommend it! They use a simple language to teach, you have support 24/7 and with the Homeworks you are also able to apply what you have learned by your own. I will definitely enroll to a second workshop soon.

An excellent introduction to HTML,CSS and JAVASCRIPT with a well -structured lessons. I like the fact that Matt helps us to be independent. The language is simple and not complex .We also have supportive group in case you get confused along the line. It was very interesting!
The lesson is well-structured. I like the way that Matt showed us how to inspect the webpage to create independency in the learning process. The support of the team and peer-learning method are something you won't get from a free ride lesson. He explained in understandable language contrary to trainers who at times just want to sound smart and use sophisticated terms to impress, but the learners didn't understand or grasp the central point of the lesson

This course has truly been an immersive experience! The sessions have been very interactive and engaging with tasks to consolidate learning. Meanwhile the SheCodes team have been swift in reviewing completed tasks and providing much support.
I have tested out a few other coding courses online but always ended up leaving and searching for a new one. Matt explained everything perfectly and even taught me how to do additional research to make my websites even better than what the homework requires me to do. The support from the SheCodes team was also a wonderful experience for me, I felt comfortable knowing that my questions are always welcome. I have been logging on every day for 2-3 weeks straight and I actually enjoy learning here, I will be completing the advanced workshops.

SheCodes offers well-structured easy to digest material on a very pretty website. I enjoyed it very much. But to me, even more valuable than the study material is the network aspect of SheCodes. You get to see other students projects that you are about to work on. Its very important that other students are of the same level as you are, so you dont get intimidated as a newbie. You can actually feel like you can do the work they did and get inspired. And of course you are encouraged to connect with those students on slack, and it can be done in few clicks. Another important mention is the SheCodes foundation effort to support refugees. They offer their program for free to a lot of women, which is admirable. I am thankful to your team for the work you do. Its a good program. Its very manageable. I would recommend it.

This workshop was a great step-by-step guide on beginner coding! I feel like I have learnt so much in less than 3 weeks - it's incredible. Of course there were moments where I felt overwhelmed, but those were moments. The support you get from your classmates really helped. I am very proud of myself, and I am looking forward to the next process on my journey to becoming an expert in front-end developing.

SheCodes is really well structured, with short lessons and challenges after each lesson, it gives you the right pace and constance, keeping your attention span high and, mostly, your motivation to keep going and always want to learn more and more. No need to sit glued to your chair taking boring, hours-long lessons that get you nowhere... Coding is mostly PRACTICE and Matt knows it well, taking the education system to another level: smart, fun and productive, focusing on quality over quantity, as lessons are short but they give you ALL the tools you need to start coding on your own. SheCodes learning path is as simple as it is effective, and it is "programmed" for literally anyone. In only three weeks I was able to build a project which I really love and I am very proud of. I came into the course with absolutely no knowledge or experience of coding. The first week was a bit overwhelming (as Matt predicted), but I am amazed by how much I learned and how much I was able to accomplish (through a lot of trial and error) in three weeks. The course is very well-organized, and the support of the SheCodes team very timely and effective. Initially, I did not believe that I would experience coding as a creative process. I was wrong.

A great, challenging course! Matt is an excellent teacher - the material was concise and easy to understand. I loved how well-structured the course is and the focus on practical/hands-on experience. It also helped that the course is self-paced and very flexible. It was fun building a webpage and learning in a supportive community. The Slack thread helped a lot. I don't think I would have had the motivation and guidance to learn coding by myself, so I highly recommend this course.

In this workshop, everything was excellent and convenient because of the way Matt Delac has taught us, and we always had SheCodesTeam's support so we didn't need to be worried about anything, actually I was the one who thought it might be difficult to learn coding, but the workshop was so Great, and right now I am ready to keep going.

This course has been challenging, but it's been a lot of fun and the resources and the support from SheCodes have been brilliant 🤩 Whenever I've had a question I could either find the answer in the SheCodes Slack channels, or ask them in Slack myself and I'd get an answer very quickly. With the tools we're given, I was also able to experiment a little with my code. I'm a graphic designer, and I wanted to design my own weather icons for the weather app we needed to create. The people at SheCodes had no problem with that, and I managed to include them and I'm so chuffed with the results! If anyone out there is keen to take this course but you can't quite decide; you'll learn so many tools and techniques and you'll be amazed by what you're able to create at the end! I was nervous too, but now I'm so glad I did it!! Plus, you have a lifetime access to the lessons so what you learn will never go out-of-date, as they update their lessons to reflect any new techniques, updated software, etc.
React took me longer than expected because I had another asthma relapse and was finally able to start my treatment, which meant a lot of traveling. Thankfully SheCodes has 3 forgiveness weeks where you can push back the course! This allowed me to finish REACT while being able to give myself time to recover! I loved that I was able to finish on my own time! SheCodes staff has been supportive every step of the way!

I've never seen such training in my life. Not only am I enthusiastic about learning how to code, but I am also terrible at learning and memorizing them. It was unbelievable that I could stand watching the videos up to the end and follow the lessons without feeling tired. The time of each video is standard, and the way of training is lovely! I can only thank this group and their support for giving this chance to many of us using the lessons. Extra thanks to the team, who were always ready to help whenever I got stuck in coding.
