SheCodes Plus has come to an end and I obtained my Web Development Certificate🎉 To be honest it was such a great adventure and throughout these past 8 weeks, I’ve experienced different feelings. Sometimes I was exhausted and confused and other times I had unbelievable happiness and confidence for completing a challenging task in the right manner. All in all, I’ve enjoyed every step of this journey of building my own weather app. And last but not least, I want to express my gratitude to amazing Matthieu Delac for your awesome way of teaching, and also to João Lopes, Bruno Torres, and all the other incredible members of the SheCodes team for supporting me relentlessly. And now, SheCodes Responsive, here I come👩💻

Having had prior coding experience, I found the SheCodes Basics workshop to be incredibly enjoyable. It provided a comprehensive review of concepts I had previously learned, along with an introduction to beginner-level Java programming. The teaching approach of our instructor, Matt, is truly remarkable, and I am eagerly looking forward to the upcoming SheCodes Plus workshop. The Shecodes Plus workshop, honestly tested my muscle memory when it came to the retention of knowledge that I had as an individual but once I crossed over the slight imposter syndrome of the fact that I may not know what I'm doing or I'm forcing at something, everything seemed to fit in place. After lots of breaks, starting over, and asking for assistance where needed I am honored to have completed its workshop with the confidence that I honestly put my best foot forward and can't wait to continue to find my place in tech and work towards my goals as a woman walking into STEM.

The SheCodes Basic workshop is a fantastic way to get started in the world of Web Development. Although there were some challenging parts, I had a lot of fun solving the challenges and creating my project. Matt puts everything we've learned from SheCodes Basic, SheCodes Plus, and SheCodes Responsive into two big React projects. It was challenging but also really fun to see my code come to life. If there is one thing I have taken away from this second project, it's that the best thing to do when one gets frustrated, is to step away for a few moments, relax or do something else, and when you return the answer often times just comes to you.

I have a couple of years' experience in an Android App Development role.I am on career break from last 4 years. SheCodes Fondation is great platform for women's which are on career break and still want to keep their coding skill alive. After completing this SheCodes Plus (HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, GITHUB, NETLIFY) I am now confident about to going back to my work.
although shecodes plus was much more difficult than the previous course, I'm glad to have done it and it helped me understand so much more about coding. would definitely recommend! =)

This course is definitely less information-dense than SheCodes Plus and, since you don't use JS to make a website responsive, much easier to understand! I also think the way Matt explains how to use Bootstrap in this course is much clearer than in SCP and you learn fundamental skills to make your website look great on all devices :) I personally still struggle a bit when Matt becomes messy and confusing but he's also really funny and engaging - never boring!
My experience with SheCodes Plus has been nothing short of extraordinary. SheCodes plus was an opportunity for more learning and growth from SheCodes Foundation. I have learned alot, was able to produce things I have never thought I would produce. I am thankful to the team and eager to learn more in following courses. I am more confident in my abilities and skills and I believe I am near to reaching my goals. For someone who studied Business all her life and has been scared of computers and coding, SheCodes made the transition from Business to Coding so much easy.
It was a very (very) simple project, specially if you've done she codes plus. I kinda feel like this could very easily been taught within shecodes plus, not sure it needs it's own little project. It's very similar to the final project of the plus, with the exception that because you're using intervals, it's so easy to upgrade time and date...

SheCodes Plus was challenging and pretty complexed. Specially cause I needed to manage my time between my 40-hour week job, my personal chores and my free time (and some vacations). The good thing is that some weeks were easier to follow and to learn than others. But I enjoyed every step of the way and I felt the absolute support from the SheCodes team. Every time I felt stuck and asked for help, SheCodes team was there to explain me what I was not understanding. I feel very proud of myself and even though I'm not sure yet if I see myself doing this professionally, I'm very much motivated to continue learning and navigating into the possibilities that SheCodes is helping me creating for myself.
I'm very happy to be doing Shecodes Plus, it's a real challenge, we need to study a lot, but it's very rewarding when we finish each step, we realize that with focus, good teachers, family support and God we can do anything.
I completed this add-on workshop in 3 days... some really useful hints and a great opportunity to put into practise again what I'd learnt in the original basics course. I liked how it was paced and encouraged you to build each part of your project after each of Matt's demos, so you weren't left with the entire thing to produce at the end! This is the third SheCodes workshop I have completed, and it has been the most enjoyable so far! Having previously accomplished the SheCodes Plus workshop, I was excited to take on another challenge and further enhance my front-end development skills. This workshop is an incredible introduction to responsive design, multiple-page hosting, SEO, and more. Not only were the homework exercises engaging, but the final project was the most rewarding experience I have had (so far) learning with SheCodes. The online portfolio is an excellent way to showcase your coding progress and demonstrate the range of knowledge gained throughout the workshops. I can't wait to move on to the next course: SheCodes React!

SheCodes Plus was quite challenging, but interesting and fun. It was a great experience overall.
The SheCodes Plus workshop transitioned smoothly from the previous Basics workshop, continuing to teach with the same level of attention to detail and with the same focus on building from each previous lesson into the next. I enjoyed the challenge of this course to keep learning and applying new techniques, and my level of confidence in coding has grown significantly with this second SheCodes workshop. In addition to practising the fundamentals of writing HTML, CSS and JavaScript, the workshop also taught new skills, such as how to integrate APIs into an app for rapid retrieval of data, how to use GitHub, how to use a hosting service, and how to apply Bootstrap formatting. I've learned a lot, I intend to use my new skills to try to build some small projects which I've started to plan out, and I'm already looking forward to starting the next workshop!

My name is Sthandiwe Msweli from South Africa and my coding journey so far has been amazing. So before I started coding I graduated in Business and information Manangement and I was not happy with what I've studyed but because I wanted to have a qulification and get a job so I can earn a living so i went on with it. Fast cracking my story after I graduated had no luck in finding a job so after a year, on my second year of staying at home without any luck of getting a job, I did a free trail in coding on some bootcamp and I fall inlove with it but to enroll to that bootcamp you needed funding which I did'nt have. So I did my reserch and I ended up founding SheCodes Foundation that when I start my coding journey and it has been a wonderful journey and I thank the Lord for this opportunity still on it and excicted for more learning and more adventure in coding 💜 plus I have completed my shecodes plus it was challenging but yet amazing experience the fact that I now have my first project that operates with real life data it amazes me I’m learning a lot can not wait for my next lessons and project ❤️

Before taking this course, I believed that learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript would be as hard as teaching calculus to baby haha. Even with the times of stress and frustration when I felt stuck doing a homework, I felt proud of the work I've done so far. This was a fantastic intro to coding. Wow, do you have to use your brain, but its amazing to see what you can accomplish in 3 weeks! The learning is quite fast paced, so it sets you up from the beginning to research on your own, and find solutions. Which of course is a great tool for the future. The SheCodes Plus project was fun and very interesting. It's not an easy project to do, but I enjoyed new challenges and to see how much you can do was impressive to me.
SheCodes Plus has provided more experience of learning to code using a functional language. Also, I got a better understanding of how API calls work and how it's essential in building applications. The tools introduced like InVision, CodeSandbox, and Netlify enable a basic end-to-end implementation of a project which opens for exciting challenges for a starting web developer like me.
The SheCodes Plus workshop is definitely more of a challenge than SheCodes Basics, but has helped me to build several skills and gain a lot of knowledge to put towards my work in the future. It's hard work, but very satisfying to learn something new and totally out of my comfort zone! Thank you to the SheCodes team!
Completing the SheCodes Plus Add-On course has been an incredibly rewarding experience for me. I have been building upon the strong foundation I gained in the SheCodes Plus program and the hands-on project was, as usual, pretty interesting to do and allowed me to apply what I learned and strengthen my problem-solving skills. The world clock project had me stuck for a little while as I really wanted to do what I had in mind but I got there in the end after multiple hours online going through forums and videos! 👩💻
