When stuck on some codes help is always a few minutes away. The whole experience was so interesting and the lessons are so short your brains are not swamped with too much information. Following on from SheCodes Basic, I was ready for another challenge. Making the Vanilla Weather App with SheCodes Plus has been challenging but I've been able to use the support system on SheCodes Slack to assess any problems I couldn't figure out by myself and I am really proud of my Weather App!
I've really enjoyed the SheCodes Plus workshop. Mattheau is really good at explaining everything and has a great logic on how to introduce and relate each topic in a way that it all makes sense and is easy to understand. The workshop is well paced and structured. I work a full time job but still I was able to complete the SheCodes Plus in less than 5 weeks. I am really enjoying this learning process and I'd see myself doing this for a living. Looking forward to the steps ahead! Next stop: Plus Add-On! 😊 Thank you very much to all the team!
SheCodes Plus has been extremely interesting as well as challenging learning experience. We dove deep into JavaScript and built a functioning weather app from scratch. Matt is a great teacher and it is a pleasure learning with him.

SheCodes Plus was so fun! I was so stoked to have created my very own live website! There were a couple times where I didn't understand the JavaScript, but rewatching the videos helped so much! Matt really explains the JavaScript thought process so well & he's not super technical with his explanation so anyone can understand him. I like how he mentions the common mistakes & he vocalizes his thought process even when the coding goes wrong - it reassuring. 😅 hehe. SheCodes Plus required more time, patience, and dedication than the first course that I took in SheCodes. It was all worth it. It is a completely different area for me, and the older I get, the harder it is to acquire new knowledge. Trying to balance all the things that life demands and your mental health can be a difficult challenge. I had to postpone a few times, but in the end, it all worked out. I love the way Matt explains it because it's clear, it makes sense and the lessons are straight to the point. It feels like you are talking to a very nice friend. It's also important to mention that he teaches how to investigate the problem when something is not working. I will do other courses in SheCodes. I expect to get better, learn more things, and improve my knowledge. I highly recommend SheCodes.
A step up from SheCodes Basics, SheCodes Plus builds up on what I've learnt and exposes one to building your own site and publishing it. The use of APIs, Netlify and new knowledge in terms of JavaScript is eye-opening and allows one to explore their creative side. Loved it!

Hey guys! I just completed my first foundation project based on Bangtan Sonyeondan, my favourite boy band. It was a bit trick, however, the lessons from Matt helped me complete this project by combining my two of my favorite interests. Looking forward to continue with the SheCodes Plus.
I enjoyed every moment of this course. I am not the most computer literate person, so as basic as the course may seem, it was fairly challenging for someone like me. However, I was dedicated and committed to pushing through. I am confident that has been a valuable means of expanding my skill set and I cannot wait to begin the SheCodes Plus Workshop.
SheCodes Plus definitely was a challenge in comparison to the previous course. I enjoyed it though! I am learning so much and I know I wouldn't have been disciplined enough to get this far on my own. The SheCodes Plus workshop really helped me to develop my coding skills even further! The use of JavaScript is way more intense in this one, but it shows how powerful and dynamic this language can be. As usual, it is also important to point out that it's always appreciated that Matt takes you step by step along the lessons, otherwise, those who are very new to coding (like myself) may lose their footing. But, even if that happened, a member of the team would always help me in Slack :) I learnt a great deal and had fun working towards my final project! I enjoyed coding with SheCodes! That's just it. I had loads of fun, some tears too because there were times my code wouldn't work and I'd be frustrated but soon, I'd be laughing through my tears at the silly mistake. I started the SheCodes Plus with so much euphoria and enthusiasm. Unlike the Basic, Plus proved to be more challenging, which is as it should be of course. I was suddenly struggling to meet deadlines since I also had a lot going on for me during the period. At some point, I was discouraged honestly. But I have a great Instructor! Along with his patient explanations, he kept encouraging. I'm grateful. The best of it is the team! Thank you SheCodes team! Even if we have hundred questions a day, you are ever ready to give fast replies. Even when it's a little mistake we couldn't see in our frenzy, you are very patient with us and ready to show us where we missed it. Please, do not stop at Basic so you don't miss out on all the fun. I chose SheCodes, or she chose me and I don't regret a minute of it. You wouldn't either!

I like the Ad-On Workshops because they truly feel step-by-step. This one had a lot of JavaScript, but it felt a little easier than the Shecodes Plus regular course. Now don't get me wrong JavaScript still confuses me but I feel like I'm slowly getting the hang of it, and once I repeat the process of couple of times I'm sure it will get easier. I'm happy to be learning something new, and hopefully, this will help me in my future career in coding.

I enjoyed every minute of the SheCodes Basics workshop! I love Matt's teaching style. I learned while having fun and even laughing sometimes. I loved that there are challenges after most of the teaching videos. This is the best teaching style for me. You implement what you learn. I also like that it is self-paced although there is a deadline for submitting the weekly homeworks and the final project. I had an incredible opportunity to participate in the SheCodes plus workshop, and it was truly a game-changer for me.
