Shecodes has made my journey to Tech, a very interesting one. Their method of teaching is amazing, instructor Matt breaks down the whole concept and presents it in a very easy way making it fun and interesting. Their community offers great support to students. I am really delighted about my progress and also looking forward to another interesting experience as i move to Shecodes plus.

SheCodes Plus was amazing! It wasn't easy at all. There was moments when I felt that I was completely confused and did not understand anything. But I was able to figure everything out thanks to the competent presentation of information in video tutorials and the help of the SheCodes team. Wat seemed intimidating at the beginning of the course turned out to be clear at the end.
SheCodes Plus was much challenging as compared to SheCodes Basic. Even then, the advantage of SheCodes courses is that we can re-watch the videos, and we are able to get great help from the SheCodes Team on the Slack channel, who answer our questions ever so patiently and promptly. It is also great that Matt will explain the rationale behind certain concepts and some good practices, rather than just step-by-step theory. It is a sense of achievement and joy when we see the codes work properly! Lastly, it is inspiring and fun to browse the projects of other students! Thank you SheCodes Team!

SheCodes Plus was an incredible experience that really allowed me to learn a lot about JavaScript and APIs. Building the final project was very fun. This course really challenged me and pushed me outside my comfort zone. To be honest, sometimes it wasn't easy to understand all the new information, especially about JS, but a little perseverance plus very nice organized lessons led to the result! As someone who had nil knowledge in coding, I knew after the first week that I wanted to invest more in SheCodes. The basic workshop is excellent! The SheCodes Plus course is very intense and probably a bit hard for the beginners. You have to study a lot by yourself - just as always when you are into studying. But if you manage to get through all this stuff, you'll move far ahead in your coding journey.

What a fantastic course! I struggle to learn and focus on one thing for an extended period of time (autism/adhd) and Matt teaches in such a way that I am engaged and really enjoying myself. SheCodes Plus pushed me to my limit and further! There were quite a few times where I wanted to give up but I went back and rewatched Matt's videos as many times as it took until the concept stuck and I could replicate or make changes on my own. Seeing my fully functioning weather app after only a few weeks of lessons and knowing I can add or change anything I want is such an amazing feeling! I can't wait to move onto Responsive and see what comes next.

I enjoyed the tutorial so much! The training was challenging, but after finishing the real-life project, I feel excited and motivated to go further. I highly recommend the SheCodes Plus tutorial - you'll get a lot of practice and figure out how things work under the hood.
I thoroughly enjoyed the SheCodes Plus workshop! It was significantly more challenging compared to the Basics workshop, which I appreciated. However, I did find it somewhat frustrating at times, especially when attempting to implement features that weren't explicitly covered. For instance, I struggled to display temperatures in both Fahrenheit and Celsius in the forecast section of my project. Though not required, I eventually submitted my project without that feature. Overall, I would recommend the workshop, but if you're new to coding, be prepared to encounter some frustrating moments along the way!
I feel confident with the tools I learned after completing my first project. Ten weeks ago I didn't know anything about coding, after learning the basics and then learning more advanced tools with the first part of SheCodes Plus I can totally code a website on my own even if it's just a landing page. I can also apply the methods I learned in other projects if I need or want to. Looking forward to keep learning and getting more comfortable with coding.

I definitely experienced some high moments and low moments during the weeks of SheCodes Plus. I had to take a couple extensions, but I can now say that I’m super proud of myself for sticking with it and completing the project! I really enjoyed the foundations of integrating an API using JavaScript, and am very interested in learning more Bootstrap. Overall, I feel like SheCodes did a great job making these skills accessible by breaking them down into smaller parts.

For a long time I've been passionate to work with software development, but because I hadn't studied a related major in college and being almost 30yo, for times I thought it was too late to get to such career. But when we have passion and determination, we can make anything happen. I started working as a QA, performing manual tests for a software. But manually testing at some point was no longer a challenge for me, so I wanted to dive into developing automation scripts with JS. I found sheCodes basics and I instantly fell in love with Matt's didactics, teaching code in a simple, fun and clear way! That really helped me to get a head start, with a testing tool that uses JS as framework. Further on, I decided to do shecodes Plus + React to keep learning and growing as QA and perhaps become a FE developer. It's been over 3 years working as a Quality Assurance Engineer for automation, and I can say I love my job! It's never too late to pursue your passions.

SheCodes Plus is a great course that has allowed me to learn so much in a short space of time. Just 3 months ago I couldn't tell you the difference between HTML, CSS or Javascript, or what they were all for and now I can use them all. The course is carefully constructed to allow you to learn and develop all the relevant skills in these areas, in an easily digestible format that can be applied to your project work and built on for future projects.
