This workshop helped me to improve my understanding css and how to do site more responsive. More practice with github, bootstrap and netlify.
I wanted to learn more about making my websites responsive and was already building a portfolio page for myself, so it felt like a double win to do this course and learn more skills while building my page. Thank you SheCodes for a fun course and for having made me hooked to programming. I love it.

I really enjoyed making my web-site responsive. This block was not hard to understand and really fun to work upon.
It was a bit hard but really fun at the same time to try to make the website responsive on any device. Personally I liked the part where I follow the portfolio design and build the website exactly looking the same. It is definitely trials and errors but you will have fun coding and feeling accomplished at the end of the day:)

SheCodes Responsive is a great course that helped me to learn how to build responsive websites that look good on different devices. It was very exciting to work on my own portfolio website and I am very happy with the result. My HTML and CSS skills have improved greatly and I am looking forward to continue developing my skills.
SheCodes Responsive was a great course with a lot more practice in HTML and CSS. It didn't just teach me how to create a website with multiple pages, but also how to make my website look good on mobile devices. Yay! 😁
While the workshop did provide a very good overview of coding, I found several things to be very frustrating. 1. Week one took me almost 15 hours of work compared to the suggested 5. There are 21 lessons, many with challenges, and weekly homework. This week should be split into 2 weeks. 2. Week two lesson one was a horrible lesson and should be revised. The only way I worked through it and determined what actually needed to be done was by asking for help. 3. Asking your students to look up how to do something on google is a terrible practice. You can suggest this, but there were a number of times we had to figure something out by googling it. All it really caused was added frustration. I'd never expect my students to teach themselves skills through googling. I realize we do this in real world settings, but for beginners this should be a no go. I did appreciate the quick and responsive help in Slack and I think that is a great feature to help everyone be successful. I did learn coding basics, and now I know that this is something that is not for me.
I'm glad that I continued my journey with SheCodes! After completing SheCodes Basics as well as SheCodes Plus, I was excited to begin the SheCodes Responsive Workshop and it did not disappoint. Learning new skills and being able to develop the skills I acquired through the previous workshops was really interesting. I can't wait to continue on with SheCodes React as my next venture! Thank You Matt and the SheCodes team for the support and great tools for success.
This is a really cool course. SheeCodes Responsive is a must-know because a website needs to look good on every device.
Shecodes responsive was an excellent workshop for learning basic responsive design and SEO techniques. It does not focus much on javascript, although you can add your little twist to the end project and include some JS if you wish to. I liked that it also gave a quick intro to commonly used tools, such as Figma, and it also did a recap on other concepts we learned on Shecodes plus.
This Responsive Workshop is so good. I came to know many parameters and methods to apply for my own Website.
Another great workshop finished, thanks to the SheCodes team! Bootstrap knowledge and skills in responsive design were definitely bumped up. One thing I wish, if we kept learning JS, it would be a more comprehensive workshop, as we all know, skills that are not used vanish too fast.

Despite the challenges faced while taking this course, I was able to write complex codes without being overwhelmed. SheCodes Responsive gave me a sense of becoming an actual web designer. As Matt provided the practical tools to build a website that is mobile friendly, I got to learn, practice, and actualize website development throughout the course. Since I have not touched on JavaScript, I am a bit concerned that I might have forgotten a lot of what I have learned previously😥 Notwithstanding, I am excited to move onto the next and the last course SheCodes React while solidifying what I have been learning with SheCodes.
