Creating a responsive portfolio with SheCodes was a challenge but well worth the effort! By the end, I had strengthened my coding skills, realized how far I've come with my coding knowledge, and have a portfolio project worth celebrating!
Over the past three weeks, I deepened my understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, building on my prior experience in web development. Initially, I revisited HTML to refine my content structuring skills, then delved into CSS to enhance my styling techniques, mastering responsive design with flexbox and grid layout. JavaScript posed the greatest challenge, but I enjoyed learning DOM manipulation, event handling, and dynamic content creation. This journey culminated in a project that I am incredibly proud of a functional, responsive web application showcasing my ability to integrate these technologies effectively. Submitting this project marks a significant milestone in my development journey. It highlights the progress I've made in a short time and boosts my confidence to tackle more complex projects in the future. I am excited about the new opportunities that lie ahead as I continue to grow as a developer.
It has been a tough 5 weeks of responsiveness but I enjoyed every thing about it. I'm glad I made it this far.
Again a fun project - taking into account all the nitty-gritty details of responsive development can be quite challenging but as always it is worth it in the end! Can't wait to tackle the next project.

SheCodes Responsive was the workshop that I looked forward to the most. In this era, responsiveness on each device is just a must that you cannot escape. It can be tricky with the list of media queries and I think I have to find more balance between enough responsiveness and too much engineered.
I really learned a lot about responsive coding from the SheCodes Responsive add-on project. The walkthrough videos were super helpful, packed with tips that I could apply right away. Working on the Tokyo web-page, I got to dive deep into CSS, experimenting with different techniques to make sure everything looked great on any device. This project wasn’t just about building something; it was about understanding the why and how behind each step. Definitely a game-changer in how I approach coding now!
I truly cannot believe that I made it this far. I learnt so much and truly grateful for this opportunity. I know this is such a cliche thing to say but it really does get better. I am more excited for the responsiveness on all media devices, I think that is very exciting. I am getting closer to being one of the best software developers with each passing day and I do not take this lightly. I hope the team and everyone involved knows how much this helps us.
