Highly recommend SheCodes! I knew nothing about coding prior to taking the course, and by the end I've coded my own basic website.

SheCodes plus was definitely challenging but I really enjoyed learning something new and I would definitely recommend. Very friendly with beginners, loved every minute! 🤩

100% recommend! Besides some Python courses during my studies in Business Administration, I had nearly no experience in Coding. However, for the SheCodes Basics, no prior knowledge was requested. Both, explanations and the course structure were clear. I finished the course in 1,5 weeks as opposed to 3 weeks. However, I found that the first week of classes took significantly longer as it had more classes and challenges as opposed to the second week. The third week is primarily concerned with the creation of a personal project which was a lot of fun. Additionally, the community is amazing and so helpful when one is stuck with one of the challenges. Even if you are not looking for a job in tech I would highly recommend this course as part of building fundamentals and self-esteem. I will be looking into additional courses.

I highly recommend it! I learned so much by following the steps in sequence on how to create a basic website. It was so much fun to watch and learn. Everything makes sense to me by watching Matt in the videos. I admit that I had some difficulty in grasping the programming concepts when I took a programming course many years ago. Now, I finally got it after watching and following Matt. And yet, I am surprised that I still remember it like yesterday.

Loved this course and Matt's fresh approach, which made my first experience of coding creative and fun. Would definitely highly recommend SheCodes to anyone and everyone - especially if you just want to get a handle on the basics!

Learning how to build the weather app search engine was a 360° journey. At times I felt like the queen of coding, easily and quickly grasping Matt's teaching, other times I didn't know what to do with myself to make the code work! Nevertheless, the beautiful and unique quality of SheCodes is that you are never really on your own, help is always and quickly on the way, and other code goddesses are in your same situation ready to support you! I find it insane how much I've learned with SheCodes! I particularly enjoyed learning the API integration. Would highly recommend it no any SheCodes Basic alumni. Plus is for sure harder, but everything you're taught makes a lot of sense. The challenges and the help given on Slack are a plus for me :)

Matt Delac is very good at explaining complex concepts, and I can't wait to advance further with the React-class. I particularly appreciate that the workshops are based around specific projects, because it makes it easier understand how we can apply what we've learnt "in real life". I loved doing the 3-week program! I had been contemplating a career change for a while but wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do or how I was going to go about it. When I tuned in for the free class with Matt, I was instantly hooked. I could try it, see if I liked it, and if I did I'd have the option to continue my learning. After completing the third week and finishing my project, I already want to learn more to get even better! I love SheCodes and would definitely recommend trying it out for anyone on the fence.

This workshop was very challenging, but a lot of fun. Making websites more responsive requires a lot of patience and several rounds of testing. I really enjoyed all the lessons and challenges and I can't believe how much I learned in a few weeks. I really recommend SheCodes!

The easiest way to start learning coding, where Matt explains coding in such a way that's easy to understand but also easy to review as well. Highly recommended to try the basics course, if you're not sure about coding, you'll get a truly basic understanding of how coding works.

I loved all the SheCodes courses that I took, although I definitely got more out of the Basics workshop and the Plus workshop than I did from the React workshop, and that is probably because it is a newer course. I highly recommend SheCodes for anyone who is unsure if coding is something they want to do. These workshops are fairly priced and give you great insight on what coding is all about!

I am so thankful I came across SheCodes. I had tried another expensive beginner coding course but was completely overwhelmed as a coding newbie. Matt teaches you the fundamentals in such an organized and fun way that I was really able to comprehend what I was learning. I was really impressed on how Matt breaks down each lesson and demonstrates how to implement the code in a video. The lesson challenges following the demonstration really helps with your comprehension and ultimately sticks in your head. Matt is really great about giving you tips and tricks to find more information on your own as well but ultimately what he teaches is great for an intro course. Matt definitely gave me the confidence to continue my coding journey with SheCodes. I highly recommend this course even if you have never coded before!

This was the best experience learning to code for me. I was an absolute beginner when I started. Before I took this class, I never imagined I would be able to code. Matt does a great job of starting you off small, so that you feel victories as you go along to keep you motivated. All of the information about the programming languages was up to date information. This is much better than trying to go it alone. I enjoyed the final project so much and I would recommend SheCodes to any ladies I know that want to learn.

I would highly recommend taking part in the SheCodes workshops! As someone who had never coded and had no knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript before starting my first coding workshop with SheCodes, I found the workshops very informative and more importantly, enjoyable. I had a wonderful time learning how to code and putting what I had learned into action. I felt proud seeing my progress throughout the workshops and completing my final project on my own. If you are hesitating whether or not you should join the SheCodes workshops, I would tell you to go for it. This was a great introduction to coding which has highlighted the unlimited creativity that accompanies it. I had no experience in coding before starting this workshop, but I learned so much in a short space of time! I would highly recommend this workshop to beginners.

It has certainly been an experience so far! Learning to code will definitely surprise you its not would i thought it would be pleasantly surprised actually. Matt and team have broken the courses down into perfectly sizeable chunks, attention to detail is key but i will say be prepared to put you're perfectionism aside in order to persevere.I would recommend to give shecodes BASICS to see if coding is for you.

I always thought that coding was hard. That was until i took the initiative to sign up for shecodes. The community on slack is absolutely amazing!! Everyone is helpful and learning is easy!! SheCodes Plus was definitely more difficult, and frustrating, than SheCodes Basic but it was so rewarding to complete the final project! I definitely recommend the Plus workshop if you're looking for more of a challenge.

I have been wanting to learn to code for while but was always nervous that I wouldn't be able to do it!! The SheCodes Basics workshop was really fun! I was surprised how much I looked forward to watching the videos and completing the challenges.
