Amazing course. Matt's videos were very easy to follow along and most importantly, easy to understand. A lot of other videos I've watched on YouTube or other sites weren't very beginner friendly!! I would definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone who didn't know where to start with learning coding. There was always plenty of resources and help provided throughout the course. SheCodes was a terrific experience. A week ago, I had ZERO coding experience, and I just finished building my first webpage using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. SheCodes Basics is a great intro to coding. The format is terrific. You have short videos followed by immediate application of the skills you just learned. I highly recommend this program to anyone interested in coding.
This course allowed me to integrate a bunch of lessons reviewed in past workshops. I definitely recommend it! I feel more confident with my Front-end development skills now. SheCodes Plus Workshop has been wonderful, I am very happy since I made my first Api, the explanations in the platform has been really clear, and didactic. I could practice JavaScript and understand it more, specially when we develop the API and make it call. Personally, I want to become a Front End Developer, therefore I consider the workshop give us not only value resources, explanations but also good advises. I really recommend SheCodes plus since it makes the learning of programming languages like JavaScript more understandable.

Before I started I vaguely remember some HTML elements. I also was confused about the difference between HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Throughout the course learned what all three were and how to use them in real-time. The challenges and homework were a big help in learning progress and it was what it worthwhile since I got to test my skills. The teaching in each video is point and clear. Also, the live assisted help on Slack really helped when I was stuck. And the solutions for each challenge and homework helped me see other ways I could've and should've done it. The extra help along with deadlines, helped me stayed committed and learn to the best of my ability. SheCodes is Highly recommendable.
SheCodes Plus was not easy, but so worth it! It definitely enhanced my coding skills and went into way more depth than the Basic course. If you're looking to increase your coding skills, I highly recommend doing SheCodes Plus.

I had no expectations when I started the workshop, only that I wanted to learn more and expand my skillset. It's no surprise that I've completed the workshop feeling overjoyed with how much I've learnt and with a burning desire to learn more. The workshop guides you but at the same time allows you to find your own solutions. I cannot recommend it enough to everyone, regardless of your career background.
A wonderful experience. After several unsuccessful attempts to learn programming I finally came across this course and I recommend it with a clear conscience. It's a very introductory course, but it's enough to find out whether you want to go down this road or not. I'm going to continue ;)

It is quite an interesting way to start coding. The program is well organized as most of the times the answers to my questions/ curiosities were demonstrated in the following class. I recommend this workshop as a start even if you want to go to more complicated languages like Python and R. It is quite intuitive and the results of your coding can be seen straight away.

The plus, however, was the community of intelligent, supportive people who were there to help me every step of the way whenever I struggled with a problem. I would recommend SheCodes to anyone! I did the basics course, and have learnt so much in just 3 weeks. I've enjoyed every minute and am so glad that I invested in myself to learn something new. I enjoyed the responsive class a lot. Concepts were explained in depth. I probably could have created a reponsive website myself, but I'm sure it would have been a lot more frustrating and in the end I wouldn't have understood the concepts as in depth. This is why I absolutely recommend the responsive class to everyone.

I was totally new to coding and thought it was going to be too difficult to get my head around at first, but each step was explained really well. I wanted to learn something new to add to my skill set and now have the basics down. Once you get the hang of what you're doing it's really fun being able to design your own webpage. I love the flexibility and being able to go at your own pace within each week. The support system between coders and the SheCodes team is really strong and its a nice place to go and ask help if you're ever stuck on anything. Definitely recommend to anyone contemplating it🤍

Before even graduating from both Basic & Plus workshop I had already recommended this to several of friends.. I think it's a great workshop, very informative, helpful and loved the pace it delivers. If you're a beginner or have a bit of background it helps you put it all together.
I started off with Basics and now here I am in Plus preparing myself for React. I am so enthralled with coding and Matt gives such clear, concise instructions that it's hard not to feel like a professional programmer. Initially, I wanted to understand syntax a bit better. I was having a hard time with SQL + Python in my data science/analytics program and needed to step back to reevaluate my approach. Codecademy gave me a bit of insight as far as hands on, but there was no one there to explain it to me. So, I decided to give this a shot. I don't regret it at all. I absolutely love the workshops and highly recommend them.
SheCodes has taught me so much in just a couple of weeks. Coding is a lot of fun and there is so much space for creativity, it's really amazing! I can only recommend this workshop! If you want to broaden your horizon and expand your skillset - go for it!

I highly recommend this course for anyone who wants a basic understanding of how to code. The structure and flow of the training are exactly what I need to learn a new skill effectively, without being overwhelming. I have had a website for a while but couldn't figure out how to truly customize it without hiring someone. Then, once I did hire someone, I couldn't accurately describe what I wanted them to do which is beyond frustrating. Within the first weeks of the course, I have been able to revamp my entire website on my OWN by utilizing my new HTML, CSS, and Javascript knowledge. Can't recommend SheCodes Basics enough!
