SheCodes has provided such a great experience for a beginner coder! I loved being able to take the process at my own pace, watching the lessons whenever they best fit into my other commitments. Everything was taught clearly, with the Slack providing such a great community and library of previously-asked questions so I rarely got stuck for long. Definitely recommend!

Great course and my goodness so much to learn. Online courses can be a bit frustrating simply because you cannot just raise your hand and get immediate help. The waiting process to get help at times is several hours but I would still recommend this course.

I joined SheCodes to have a first experience in coding as recommended by some friends. SheCodes Basics was a fantastic way for me, as a Product Manager, to gain a better understanding of the technical side of my job and improve my knowledge of what developers do. The first week was quite intense but manageable, and the team are always on hand if you are struggling with any of the lessons. I'd highly recommend this course.
Before SheCodes, I knew less than nothing about coding. Now I got at least a basic knowledge about how coding works. Women tend to work in jobs outside of tech, with lesser payment. I want to improve my knowledge further and give my daughter, when she is older, the opportunity to learn coding, so she can decide if tech is something she wants to do in the future. I highly recommend the course!

I still can't believe I got to this point! I feel so empowered! Up until a few months ago, I didn't even think I could learn how to code and now I am happily coding away! The React workshop was definitely challenging, but who doesn't love a good challenge? I know I do. I am extremely thankful to SheCodes for everything I've learned and this is only the beginning for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience in this workshop. It was very informative and I learned a lot. When I didn't understand something, I was able to seek help through Slack chat. And then tip for incoming students, it is more difficult for you to binge all the videos and assignments in one day in comparison to other workshops like the Basics Workshop. Of course, you should take notes especially if you aren't spreading the workload in the way where you get to practice everyday. And yes, I do recommend this course.

When I first started SheCodes, I didn't have a lot of confidence in myself that I would enjoy or understand the basics of coding. It turns out, all I needed was a positive mentor and teacher. Matt always emphasized that coding was fun and attainable during his lessons. When you make a mistake, it's okay, just try again. Awesome course! Can't believe that I can now code with JS script and make a perfectly functional weather app! Some parts are definitely hard and tricky, but you stick with it and get through! Highly recommend!
