I have to admit, before I started, I thought coding would be easier than it is! I have really enjoyed this course; it has been challenging and good fun! I would recommend to anyone who would like to equip themselves with the basics in coding, or to challenge themselves to learning something new. Thank you to Matt and the SheCodes team for a great experience; I really look forward to the next workshops.
I highly recommend this course, it was easy to follow and I did not encounter any difficulties. The content is easy to learn and in little time I was able to build pages which work well in any screen size (this is the meaning of responsive). The idea of building a page showcasing all your previous projects is great and SheCodes gives you many materials and ideas so you are not alone in this. I am proud of the page I built and hope it will help to promote my work.
When I started learning how to code, I did not have any idea It could be possible! It is an overall wonderful experience thanks to SheCodes! I had no prior knowledge of coding and Mr. Delac made it more simple to understand. I do recommend this course to anyone who is interested in Coding!

Hi everyone! This is my second SheCodes' course and like the first one it was great! Really good explained and a lot of great challenges. I learned a lot! I deepened my programming knowledge and want more! :) so now it is time for the third course - React :) I highly recommend this course and can't wait to start another! :)
This course is so much fun! I, unfortunately, took long breaks in between but I would recommend doing the assignments/projects as close to each other as possible and avoiding extensions. However, life happens, and just make sure to take good notes so when you go back to it you are not completely lost.

This is ideal for anybody who is working full time and is happy to dedicate their evenings to this. The first week is the most intense if you have never done this before but then it gets easier. It's a great taster and I'm looking forward to starting the advanced course. I would recommend being strict with your timings so you don't feel overwhelmed but you can always extend the deadline if life really does get in the way. The fast response from the team on Slack and the ability to search other queries to help solve your code is so helpful. Highly recommend this course.
From my point of view, this course is perfect, but they can add some more details in JS and CSS. I highly recommend this course.

I had no experience at all. I was pretty intimidated to begin. This course was so easy to follow. Matt is a great teacher and the community of other awesome ladies is indispensable. I can't recommend this workshop enough. Everyone should do it.
Very challenging, but also very rewarding at the end. You get to make 2 projects in this workshop and delve into the world of React. I highly recommend it. The lessons are great, plus you can always get help on Slack if something is not clear enough.

The course was fun and designed for absolute beginners like me. Toward the end of the course, I felt that I want to learn to code even deeper. There are great resources to keep you on track and motivated, especially Slack was great to me. I was inspired by many students' final projects. Definitely recommend it to my friends.
I am currently within the HR career path. However, I have always been curious about coding. I heard about SheCodes last year, and I decided 2022 was going to be my year to EMBARK on this coding journey. The main aspect I was interested in with coding was web design. 👩🏽💻I enjoyed learning HTML, CSS, and JS. I did not expect to learn as much as I did in this coding basics class. All the lessons are ordered in a way for easy learning and comprehension. Matt is an amazing teacher. With each homework assignment and project, you get to test your knowledge! I was hesitant to learn this on my own- however with the support of the SheCodes squad/other learners, I felt empowered that if I didn't understand- I could reach out on the real-time Slack chat. My final project reflects my love for baking! I tried to make it simple yet modern. There are still some concepts I would love to learn in order to implement for further development of my web design skills! I'm not sure what the future is for my coding journey as of now. The SheCodes Basics workshop was exactly what I was looking for. I began other courses that failed to introduce the material at a basic level and found myself struggling to keep up. SheCodes Basics laid down the foundational information for CSS, HTML, and JavaScript and I am now excited to keep furthering my coding skills. I highly recommend this course to every beginner!

In every one eyes coding is a big world full of complications! Here, SheCodes made this world understandable. you can go forward step by step, not confused with hard phrases. No word is said by Matt and left undefined, every thing is clear here. Highly recommended to absolute beginners.

I had had ZERO experience with coding before I had the opportunity to do the SheCodes workshop and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. The way Matt explains it in the videos is really comprehendable for everyone. I myself am just a musician but was capable of learning something so much different and I love it. I'm really considering buying the next course! Although for a non-working student it might be a bit tough haha

I really enjoyed taking the SheCodes Basic Workshop. Learning a new skill I never in a million years thought I would do. I wanted to try something completely new from what I do for work on a daily basis since I have worked in the same field since I graduated college (10+years). The lectures are super easy to follow and I was able to troubleshoot most of my coding issues myself or by using the slack channel. I highly recommend anyone that is on the fence about this program to give it a try.

I work in a completely unrelated field (healthcare), but felt like I wanted to pick up another skill/hobby when I happened to come across SheCodes. I'm so glad I did because I ended up really enjoying the Basics workshop 😊 Matt's a great teacher and made the content really easy for an absolute beginner like myself (beginner as in, I didn't even know what HTML or CSS was before I started, much less how to design a landing page). I've been curious about coding since 1 year ago, when a friend gave me a glimpse of what front-end development was. Following this introduction, I started looking for online courses so I could learn without abdicating from my daily (and full-time) job as physiotherapist. I tried many different online resources, but it was when I stumbled upon SheCodes on Instagram that my interest started to feel like an actual career possibility as I was reading the different testimonies. The start of the course was exhilarating to me: after working from 9am to 5pm, I would come home excited to learn new things at the rhythm of Matt’s explanations. What I thought could be a hard thing to reconcile - my daily job and the coding assignments - turned out to be quite affordable (not only in price but also) in self-motivation to do more and better. Overall the course is simple, organized, well-explained, inexpensive and gives me lots of tools far from the coding itself as I learned how to Google my obstacles away in a productive manner. Furthermore, I think it’s great to know that you are not alone in the learning process, as there are many others sharing their own doubts on slack! I completely recommend this course, especially for people in the same situation as myself who have found an interest and would love to explore it without compromising their current economic safety :)
The SheCodes video classes and their other resources are amazing, and the team is extremely helpful. Matt's videos are very easy to follow and I love the fact that they are not scripted so we can learn even more from him as he films himself coding in real-time with all the inherent challenges. Another plus is Matt always shows us the best coding practices, even when he says: "You don't have to do this but I highly recommend (...)" 🙂 So I can't recommend this workshop enough for people who are beginning their coding journey like me. It is a bliss!!

I studied engineering, but never took coding classes and didn't realize how vital coding was to my career path until I got my first job. Working with my Controls counterparts taught me a lot, but most of all, it taught me that I had a lot to learn in terms of programming! One of my coworkers took this class and recommended it to me, so I figured I'd give it a shot and am very impressed with the amount of material that we covered in such a short time. It was very fun to make a webpage for the future (currently imaginary) bakery that my sisters want to open, and I learned a lot!
