First becoming a little familiar with React before jumping into creating a React project in VSCode allowed for a smoother introduction to React. I liked that it was a similar project to the SheCodes Plus weather app but in React. I really enjoyed the SheCodes Basics course - A great course structure which takes you through the essentials of HTML, CSS and Javascript. I did find that in week 1, I needed far longer than 5 hours to complete it (I completed the course part-time). However, this is entirely subjective, and I found by week 2, I started to complete the tasks much more quickly. Would definitely recommend the course 💜

I would recommend this workshop to anyone looking to transition into the tech world. In my case, I already knew the basics and some fundamentals of JavaScript. I highly recommend it.
I had an absolute blast with the SheCodes Basics! I recently completed a JavaScript course and this course helped me put all the pieces together of what I learned, along with so much more.
