SheCodes Plus was a really great follow up to SheCodes Basic. I had a lot of fun building my weather app, and while it was not easy, it was VERY doable with Matt’s instruction. And it definitely made me even more excited about what’s to come! I’m now halfway through my SheCodes courses, and I would recommend it to everyone who wants to learn to code.
I've just finished this fascinated couse. I am happy that managed to pass all workshops. It was a real challenge for me, but with a help of such professionals I've done it. So I highly recommend to try this new sphere.

Nice course intro to HTML, CSS and JS. Matt explains things clearly so it's easy to understand, as well as teaching you good coding practices such as why you structure your code a particular way or when to use a certain technique. Would definitely recommend to others 👍
This second course was definitely a challenge. I believe that to be successful, a student needs to get additional knowledge outside of the SheCodes course for assistance. There are some parts in the coding journey that can be confusing. That being said, I do recommend this course because it demands great dedication and demonstrates how coding is powerful. I love the training structure with its videos & challenges as well as the SheCodes team via Slack. The teachers are always available and answer questions very quickly.
I am so glad that I signed up to one of the SheCodes courses! Coming from an education background, I had no idea what to expect. It was challenging, but the lessons were engaging and exciting. I had the best time learning to code, so I highly recommend signing up.

Personally, I thought SheCodes Basics was great. It was a very interactive introductory course to HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I did use Codecademy prior to starting the workshop, but I didn't feel motivated enough to finish the courses I signed up for. Unlike Codecademy, I was able to finish the workshop quite quickly, finishing it in less than a week. I recommend it for people who just want to know the very basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and make simple webpages.
It was difficult enough, but not impossible. By following Matt's instructions step by step, I was able to complete the project. I recommend everyone to try their hand at this course. Many thanks to the SheCodes team for this great opportunity.

100% recommend this course to anyone who is new to coding. Coding may seem intimidating but Matt breaks these classes down into short videos so it is easy to understand. Whenever I had any problems, Matt and his team answered my queries within 2 hours. I love the fact that after each tutorial video, there is a challenge to work on to ensure that we've understood the lesson. The project was pretty tedious for me but was definitely a fun experience!

I enjoyed the course a lot. The course doesn't require any previous programming experience and is suitable for absolute beginners who would like to try programming but don't know where to start. In the beginning, I just wanted to support the team for giving Ukrainian women an opportunity to learn web development during these harsh times. And in the end, I actually had a lot of fun doing all the homework, watching the videos, and learning. I have already recommended this course to a friend of mine.
I was quite hesitant before signing up because I didn't think I would be able to learn how to code. But the lessons are very well designed: the videos are short which makes it accessible, the exercises are fun but difficult enough to make it challenging and there is constant interaction with the SheCodes team 👩💻 in case you have questions. Also, since English is not my native language, I was afraid that learning to code would be a double challenge for me. But Matt speaks slowly and is super clear, plus there are tools like Close Caption to help those who have English as their second or third language. I highly recommend it; this course proves that we can all code 💪🏽💪🏽.

I have really enjoyed the Basics course. I had watched some videos previously, but I wanted some more practical experience and to see whether coding was the right direction for me. This was a great way to gain some knowledge, experience and confidence in coding; before thinking about committing to a more advanced course requiring more investment (of time and money!). I would recommend this workshop for women, who have never been involved in coding. However, if you already know some basics, this one would be easy for you, but still useful, if you learnt other coding languages, just to see how things work, because they are pretty similar.
The lessons are bite-sized and not too overwhelming. I definitely learned a lot! I took the basics course and it was a great refresher/ beginners course! I would definitely recommend this to everyone looking into coding!
I'm positively surprised by how much I learned in such a short amount of time. The challenges are indeed challenging, but the project was extra fun. I like that Matt does not simply read a script but is passionate about his endeavor. He continuously shows me how to help myself. After the course, I will know where to look and find more information. The course is partially exhausting, but every minute invested is 100% worth it. Two thumbs up! I highly recommend it.

Learning React was hard but so interesting! I ran in to some problems but always was able to figure it out with some help. Such a bitter-sweet moment right now, this is my 4th and last workshop with SheCodes, and what can I say, I'm beyond thankful to Matt and the team for creating this incredible platform to teach women how to code and break into the tech industry. Just 6 months ago I didn't know what HTML was and now I can code using React. I highly recommend SheCodes, a challenging but fun way to learn how to code.
For someone who was completely new to coding I think this would be a great beginners course. I found that the lesson were easy to follow along with so I never really had any problems when understanding concepts. If you ever need help though, there is always help in slack. The people on there are very friendly so don't be afraid to ask for help. Overall I would really recommend this course for everyone.

What I'm learning through SheCodes will allow me to code my own portfolio site myself. I'm studying data analytics, and being able to make my own portfolio to showcase my projects is important to me. It was nice to learn about responsive websites. I would highly recommend SheCodes as it is easy to follow and there is amazing support when needed.
This course was easy to follow as someone who has zero coding experience. As challenging as the content was, Matt explained things well and really went step by step. For problems I could not solve immediately, I could look back at past lessons, or use the research methods he recommended to find solutions.

Wow! What an experience! Being able to work on your own pace and still be able to get it done by the deadline is a closer step to meeting your goal. I'm detail-oriented and organized so I like my setup to look a certain way as it did get frustrating at times but the satisfaction of getting it done is all worth it. The courses could get difficult but honestly is was fun learning a new skill and having a hands on experience like you would in a classroom. I would defiantly recommend this workshop to any female beginner; this would be a great start! You will not regret it! Go for it! 😁

I highly recommend the basic course, the information is divided into nice small parts, so lesson will not be boring or tiring. The best thing for me is a structure! And worth to mention the speed of Matt's speech, it is really easy to understand everything even on 1,5x speed:)
