SheCodes just changed my life for the better. I am a former secondary teacher who has pivoted into the tech world. However, I knew I desired to further my tech skills and make myself competitive in the technology industry. When I signed up for this course a week ago, I didn't fathom that I would fall in love with coding. I felt like I was playing a fun yet challenging game. I have finally found my passion. The instructions were very easy to understand and follow. I took web development courses before and I wasn't really satisfied with them but I absolutely enjoyed this workshop.

I have to say that I really enjoyed this first contact with the programming area. The SheCodes program is super well structured and makes sure that we are not discouraged in the face of difficulties. I would highly recommend SheCodes. Not only is Matt a great teacher, but the fact that money from the workshops goes to fund the SheCodes Foundation to support women around the world is a bonus. Until now I have struggled with coding, it never seemed to 'click' with me. After being laid off from work the week before Christmas I decided to do something to boost my hireability. After completing this workshop I actually feel that I can code. It has been a major confidence boost and I look forward to continuing with more advanced SheCodes workshops.
