Shecodes made learning code so easy and fun. Its quite funny but i sometimes dream about bugs on my line of code then wake up thinking how to solve the bug i have or how to complete an assignment. I recently participated in the SheCodes Plus coding workshop, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. Despite not being in a physical classroom, and somewhat challenging, the instructor did an excellent job of creating an engaging and interactive learning environment. The workshop was structured in a way that allowed for plenty of hands-on practice, with coding exercises, weekly homework and final project that challenged me to apply what I had learned. In this workshop, I have learned through these five weeks to make images and grids responsive, I've learned how build a website to be responsive in different devices. Apart from that, I learned how use live servers which made the coding process very faster and easier. Likewise, I learned about SEO and how design a website before building it. I then highly recommend Responsive Workshop to all developers and code learners.
I found the inclusion of the workshop in the course to be incredibly beneficial in keeping me motivated to work on my portfolio. As someone who already has experience with job searching and finding, including through LinkedIn, I was initially unsure of how much I would gain from attending. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I still learned new things that I hadn't previously considered. Overall, I would highly recommend this workshop to others looking to improve their job searching and portfolio-building skills.
SheCodes has been a great experience so far. The lessons are in helpful sections that are easy to reference back to if you need a refresher on a certain topic. All of the resources provided and recommended have been helpful in learning the basics of coding.

After finishing my weather app I felt so happy to look back and think about everything I've learned so far! Matt explains really well and the fact that you can go back and watch the videos everytime you want helped me a lot. I feel like I have a lot to learn, but this workshop is really helping me improve and it's helping me staying motivated to continue and keep learning. I am glad that I found SheCodes and I surely recomend these workshops, because they are amazing! This course is amazing for giving the basics, however, it doesn't cover topics like mobile-first development.

I am a very creative and curious person but also love things that require problem-solving and cognitive stimulation. When I found Shecodes, I didn't know what to expect. I wanted to try out coding and see what it would be like to create my own landing page from scratch, but I felt like I was diving into the 'deep-end' with no prior knowledge or experience. I thought I would have to be super intelligent and love maths/science to code. I was so wrong! Shecodes showed me how taking the risk was worth it. I fell in love with coding during the 3 weeks of trying it out! Matt and everyone at Shecodes provide a welcoming and supportive space for beginners and people of all skill levels to dive into coding. Matt's engaging and easy-to-follow video lessons, as well as the creative and fun challenges/homework provided, have meant that I have gained so much confidence over the 3-week course in a field that I thought I wouldn't thrive. SheCodes is an amazing platform for all women to become curious and be creative through interactive coding workshops! I am intrigued by technology, coding and digital development but also have a passion for gender equality, and so I love the ethos of Shecodes at what they are doing for women worldwide; from opening up potential career paths to women in a sector where female representation is sparse, to even providing people with a starting point to develop and flourish within a new hobby/ interest. I would recommend the course for everyone who is working in any direction of It sphere. Because it gives the general understanding of how any web page is built and works, what is the logic behind. At the same time the course is organised in so easy and interesting way, so it will definitely inspire anyone to go deeper in the field of web development.
This really challenged me but I enjoyed the challenge! It made me review what I've learned in the past and apply it to this new framework. It was great that I was learning new material while subsequently reviewing old. Also, I'm now able to look things up online and derive my own solutions, which I think is the best skill I've obtained thus far. I am someone who is a perfectionist as well and want everything to be organized and this course was just that! Everything had its own place and just very easy to access.
