Just completed my last SheCodes project and after finishing all 4 of the online courses with Matt, I have to say that it is the best online course for coding!! I have tried some other online courses but none were so easy to understand and follow. Matt is really gifted in teaching you how to code that you don't even feel like you are studying!! I highly recommend SheCodes as the best course for starting your career in becoming a Front-end Developer.

I highly recommend this course for everyone who has doubts and is not sure if coding journey is for them. All learning materials are super accessible and easy to understand and you get to learn basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. This is a great starting point which can set you up for your future learning path depending on what interests you the most. I know that my path is programming rather than designing, but it's good to have knowledge of all. I cannot wait to start my next workshop!
I really enjoyed taking the SheCodes workshop. I think the curriculum is very engaging, easy to follow along, I did not need much assistance but it there when you need it. Before this course, I briefly did some studying on HTML and CSS, this course ended up putting it all together - but I would highly recommend this to a new leaner. I now have much more understanding on the material and can't wait to start on the Plus workshop next week.
I have learnt so much from both SheCodes Workshop and Plus. Matt is a great teacher and the team are so friendly and quick to reply to any questions you have! There were definitely challenging points but the live support I received was amazing, I learnt so much from asking questions. Everything is broken down and makes it feel manageable which is so motivating because you can quickly see your progress. I would recommend to anyone who is thinking about learning to code to go for it!

Before SheCodes, I didn't know anything about coding, nor did I have much interest. But through the course, I have learned a great deal and found it hugely enjoyable. Matt and the team are incredible teachers, and the pacing of the course is perfect. Learning in bitesize pieces is a brilliant way to pick up knowledge. I can't recommend the course enough! The learning process has been so exciting and challenging that I have become inspired to continue exploring and experimenting with code. I am really proud of the work I have produced and am sure the skills I have gained will be useful for future projects.

I highly recommend this workshop for absolute beginners! is really fun to learn how to code. I also find SheCodes Radio pretty good and helpful to concentrate while coding. The way the videos are self paced make the course pretty flexible, but the deadlines for the homeworks give you the needed presure. Every lesson has a challenge to be completed on your own. In that way you get to put your knowledge on practice!
Prior to starting the SheCodes Basics workshop, I didn't have any experience with coding but I've always been interested in learning about it. I can genuinely say that I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop because I feel like I learned so much in such a small amount of time. The layout of the course is excellent and it allows you to study at your own pace which is very useful. The videos for each lesson were fantastic and the challenges were great too as it helped with solidifying and retaining the new skills we had just learned. I find the coding class awesome! It was great fun! I learned a lot but there is a lot more. I am looking for new opportunities in my career and this is helpful to be able to make a CV or portfolio, connect with people with a simple webpage. The slack was very useful. It is great to be part of the community. The classes are well made and I will recommend them to my network.

I really enjoyed SheCodes Plus after completing SheCodes Basics! Matt is a very good instructor, giving real-life examples that help to memorize & the support team is always very reactive and helpful. Being part of the community on Slack also helps to resolve problems, as other students often face the same issues. I feel now comfortable enough to code my own projects and try new things independently. I highly recommend this path to everyone!

SheCodes Plus is really challenging. You get to learn how to integrate real data, work on your visuals so it looks nice on different devices and keep track of your coding so you can see your progression/changes. Would highly recommend this if you want to take things further.
This was a trying course, but I learned a lot in a relatively short amount of time. Be ready to put a lot of time and energy into this course. It definitely took me longer than 5 hours a week. Overall I would still highly recommend this course, and look forward to continuing my coding journey with SheCodes.
SheCodes Responsive is my third workshop I have completed! I continue to learn new things every day and I have met so many supportive people along the way. I feel more confident in my ability to pursue a career in web development. I am looking forward to SheCodes React and expanding on what I have learned so far. I think it was an excellent opportunity to learn new things. I would absolutely recommend it because I think that there are not many spaces made specifically for women and dissidents where these skills can be learned. I found it to be a wonderful and enriching experience. The world of coding is a space that I am just getting to explore and I loved learning it from a place that was so friendly, so simple, and in my own time. I think that the most remarkable thing that this workshop has, is that everything is very clear, the content and the lessons are very pedagogical and there are many opportunities where one can ask, and I believe that this is fundamental in an educational process.

SheCodes Basics was FUN! The lessons were easy to follow, and I enjoyed that I could work at my own pace. Honestly, I found that coding wasn't hard to learn! There are so many misconceptions about coding, but it's all about practice and patience. I certainly recommend the Basics course to get yourself familiar with it!

At the beginning of this course, I was familiar with coding and JavaScript; Now, I have a much deeper understanding of just how powerful functions can perform for us. The lessons that Matt provides on how we can extract specific data from API sources is detailed and straightforward, and the challenges give you a chance to test the knowledge in real time. I enjoyed the class and would recommend it. The videos are short and concise, they get straight to the point. You don't feel too overwhelm because if a video lesson is teaching you something knew, the "challenge activity" only focuses on that. Afterwards, when you proceed to another video, you just add on to the existing code that you created from the previous challenge or activity. Tip: taking notes is helpful.
