I enjoyed the projects and pace of the course. I would recommend but I also think you may need secondary sources of information to finish the projects.
This course along with the basic and plus courses make everything feel well rounded and complete. I would recommend taking this after those but before React if you plan on taking that; Responsive is a little more slow pace compared to React. The skills in this course are a must for web design and it was packed full of information, and so much fun!
I wasn't new to coding but learning it always felt so overwhelming... That's before I joined SheCodes. The classes are very thorough and Matt explains everything step-by-step. So there's no pressure, but at the same time you learn lots! Also it has a very organised process, which makes it even more helpful. I loved this workshop, and highly recommend it to anybody thats even slightly interested in learning to code!
I really enjoyed the SheCodes Basics so much so that I am now looking to do the Plus workshop. Matt's explanations were not only thorough but super easy to follow & understand, there were plenty of practical exercises throughout the lessons to learn from experience and great support available via the Slack channel for when you get stuck or challenged. The SheCodes workshop offers the best tools if you want to start from zero. I had no experience and the videos, challenges and weekly homework were super helpful and easy to follow. I had no experience when I started this workshop with SheCodes. Already the introduction workshop increased my interest. The explanation videos have a perfect length and are super easy to follow. The following exercises are helpful to understand the previously presented lessons. I really liked the possibility to get help whenever you got stuck. I would recommend this workshop for everyone, you want to start coding. It is a perfect introduction!

To start learning about coding was a personal (and professional) challenge. During these 8 weeks I actually had fund and learned a lot doing so. I would recommend the React workshop to anyone willing to learn advanced knowledge about coding! I work as a Technical Support Engineer and now, more than ever, I feel even more ready to apply the knowledge I acquired in my day to day tasks.

Before the SheCodes Basic Workshop, I had never done anything remotely related to coding. I was really surprised how easily I could absorb the complex information from the short video lectures. I have truely enjoyed this course even though it has been extremely challenging at some points during a few weeks. I was stuck and could not find a way out. Luckily I got support from the SheCodes team and found my way back. Since the course is challenging the satisfaction of building my own weather app and succesfully completing it is high! Had much fun learning how to create responsive websites, totally recommend i think nowadays it is very important to create responsive websites since our very first contact with a website usually starts with our phone.
I was always interested in coding but I was intimidated by it especially since it is a male-dominated field. After completing my SheCodes workshop I feel so empowered and I discovered that coding can actually be really fun once you get the hang of it. I love the community that SheCodes has created and I would highly recommend the course to all female-identifying people (even if you have no prior coding knowledge like me going into the course).
I highly recommend this class to anyone interested. It is great for beginners, like myself! The instructor is a great teacher and explains the concepts very well. The final project is a little challenging, but rewarding when finished!

I got introduced to SheCodes through an ad I got, right at the perfect time. I was searching for coding courses online, but nothing really resonated with me up until then. The free course was the first thing I tried, making me interested in coding in a whim. Wanting to continue my coding journey, I enrolled in the SheCodes Basics program, and I really do not regret doing so! I've learned so much during these last three weeks on SheCodes Basics, going from somebody who couldn't understand code, to somebody who is already able to code a little website! :) 10/10 would recommend!
I have wanted to learn some basic coding for the longest time but always struggled to find the time and the right teacher until SheCodes came along 🥰 It was a great challenge but also very practical and well organized and the weekly deadlines helped keep me on track. I did the basic course and it is absolutely perfect for beginners! Everything comes in little bits and pieces, so you won't get overwhelmed. Every new challenge comes with a little hack you need to find out by yourself, so you get in the mode of solving problems and feel like a real hacker. If you need help, you can always find it in the awesome slack community. I would recommend this to all of my friends.
I highly recommend the 'introduction to coding' class. I really liked the whole concept. Especially how the content is built and the fact that i can do all of the lessions extremly time-flexible.
I love the bite size lessons where we have to apply the knowledge we just leant right after each lesson to consolidate our understanding. Would recommend it to anyone who would like to see if coding is right for them.

The introductory course to coding is highly recommended if you want to learn in an interactive way. The way the course is set up triggers your motivation and the ability to complete your project. You learn technical language and tools to use. The time spent on the course has gone very fast since it has been a lot of fun and caught my interest very much. I can't recommend this course enough. 2 months ago I knew nothing about coding and have now been able to build a fully functioning search site. I really enjoyed how the course is broken down into short videos with a theme for the week as it helps you build your skills over time. I found the content challenging but there was also a great feeling of satisfaction when I finally understood something. Also, the community they have build is amazing. Everyone is so quick to respond to queries on Slack and it's great to be able to see what everyone else is building and how they got there.
The experience was very good, whenever I had any questions, they were always there to help. The topics are very well explained by Matt. I recommend it!

Very happy to found this courses! In less than 3 weeks I have learned how to actually build something from scratch even if it is very basic. Any time I had problem it was solved quickly on Slack and also I was happy when I could help solving other's problems.
