I can not believe how much I learned in this program! I do wish there was more coding with JavaScript prior to this course because I was not at the level I needed to be at before beginning React, but I was still able to work my way through the course. I will miss these workshops so much but I can't thank Matt enough for creating this program. While I still have a lot more to learn, I feel leaps and bounds ahead of where I started 5 months ago. I've built things I never thought I would be able to. In high school I tried coding and was told by my teacher that I was a hopeless case (I kind of was, lol). But I am sure that he would be very proud to see that even I, a useless case, was able to build React code and finish several projects in the SheCodes course. I am so happy and excited for the adventures to come in tech!
I completed the SheCodes React course and although the learning curve is steep, tutorials are clear and foundations from previous courses really show. Now that I've completed it, I feel confident enough to build projects on my own and pick up an extra language or 2. In this day and age a framework is really important, so I cannot recommend the React course enough!
I really enjoyed learning about React and all the possibilities it's bringing. Working on two different projects was challenging, but rewarding and allowed me to practice and understand react a bit better.

The SheCodes React course is quite difficult for beginners. Several times there was a feeling that it was beyond my power. Only thanks to my stubbornness, I got through it to the end. And I liked it. Even so, I will not be able to write such a code myself, but now I know the basic functions of working with React and will be able to work by analogy. I got a very useful experience and a great cute resume site.

I enjoyed learning React. For some reason it reminds me of calculus but it was extremely helpful learning and doing ... i enjoyed that the most in building the weather and dictionary apps.

Learning React was a lot of fun! Slowly but surely the course takes you through the set up, structure and functions, and all of a sudden you have created two applications. I highly recommend the course to anyone who would like to get a React certification!
I struggled to learn React on my own at first. But after attending the SheCodes React course I was able to get a good understanding of how React works and also build apps with React.

I have split feelings about reaching the end of my SheCodes journey! On one hand I am proud of my accomplishment but on the other hand I am sad that I have no more challenges to do! I have really enjoyed learning all about coding and in particular, React. The videos have been clear and very informative, I love Matt's style of teaching, and if I've ever had a problem the SheCodes team have been on hand to help and are so kind and supportive with it too . I have found my new passion and I'm so keen to continue with my own independent learning in the hopes of becoming a React Developer at some point. React workshop was probably the most intensive out of all workshops yet the most rewarding. It helped me to gain confidence in my coding skills and built the second project mostly independently. However, when I faced a significant issue, the support team was ready to help me and solve it!
SheCodes Responsive workshop is now one of my favourites I've participated so far. It was quite challenging but super fun and exiting to follow. I'm not tired to tell how I've became a fan of Matt's teaching skills and all the vibe the lessons give. This course provides tons of information to learn and practice - following with guidance of supporting team - big thanks to them! And the final project - it was very interesting and challenging to create multiple page website that would be fully rensponsive on different devices. I'm looking forward to enroll into React Workshop.

Coding with React makes me feel like a magician. SheCodes have helped me reaching a huge milestone of my life which is to learn coding. I can't describe the feeling of finishing this course. Matt made it challenging yet achievable. I started from SheCodes Basics knowing very little to finishing SheCodes React. I come home from work and start coding right away as a form of relaxation. I have grown as a person these last four months and it has been an incredible journey. I even won my first hackathon last month.

This particular workshop was more practical, even more so than React. Learning how to make websites responsive, adding media queries, advanced HTML links, Bootstrap, and CSS will all be tools that can applied to future web design.

Whew! This is the most rewarding, exciting, and difficult workshop yet! I loved the React projects (one weather and one dictionary), building another weather project but in a different way really shows you that there are a lot more ways you can code to build a project. The dictionary project was definitely the hardest but I'm a perfectionist at heart and this was a great experience to see it all come together. These weeks of lessons, challenges, and projects has me going out on my own and making more than just the given projects and I'm dreaming of code and other ways to make it work! Thank you so much Matt Delac for this platform/workshops and thank you the to team for helping me out so much! You all rock!!

I learned so much in the SheCodes React workshop! The assignments were scaffolded well and provided me with the knowledge to build both the weather and dictionary final projects. Even though I ran into challenges along the way, the Slack support and community was a great resource and helped me to persevere til the end. I wish there were more workshops! The layout of the workshop makes coding doable and is not overwhelming, Matt's lessons are easy to follow, and I am motivated to keep learning!

The SheCodes Responsive workshop was fantastic. I had always wanted to learn how to build a responsive site, and the lessons broke down the process so well. I also learned a thing or two about optimizing a site for SEO which will greatly help me in my marketing work. I'm excited to get started on the next workshop SheCodes React!
For a long time I've been passionate to work with software development, but because I hadn't studied a related major in college and being almost 30yo, for times I thought it was too late to get to such career. But when we have passion and determination, we can make anything happen. I started working as a QA, performing manual tests for a software. But manually testing at some point was no longer a challenge for me, so I wanted to dive into developing automation scripts with JS. I found sheCodes basics and I instantly fell in love with Matt's didactics, teaching code in a simple, fun and clear way! That really helped me to get a head start, with a testing tool that uses JS as framework. Further on, I decided to do shecodes Plus + React to keep learning and growing as QA and perhaps become a FE developer. It's been over 3 years working as a Quality Assurance Engineer for automation, and I can say I love my job! It's never too late to pursue your passions.
Learning React was hard but so interesting! I ran in to some problems but always was able to figure it out with some help. I'm really happy with the results and I'm quite proud of what I've accomplished. Highly recommend doing this workshop since it really added to the knowledge of how everything works.
Creating React Weather App and Dictionary were challenging, but it was fun learning and coding! When I had some questions, I got a quick response from SheCodes team and they were very supportive!

Such a bitter-sweet moment right now, this is my 4th and last workshop with SheCodes, and what can I say, I'm beyond thankful to Matt and the team for creating this incredible platform to teach women how to code and break into the tech industry. Just 6 months ago I didn't know what HTML was and now I can code using React. I highly recommend SheCodes, a challenging but fun way to learn how to code.
It was a good match for me. I knew HTML and a bit of CSS, but bootstrap, java script, React and so on were new to me. These courses had given me a pretty solid introduction into those areas. Unbelievable, 8 months ago I would not have believed that I could code 2 react projects that work. My own weather app and dictionary app are live. It's such a fascinating feeling to learn a completely new skill in such a short time. Most importantly, it's great fun. This path is only possible with passionate support. I really learnt a lot since I started my coding journey, but I find that React was defiantly the most challenging. One thing I would say is that it can get frustrating, but you just have to push through, sometimes even take a break. But once you manage to get it working, you feel very accomplished. When I started I never expected to get this far and actually manage to build websites like I have done in the last couple of months. Really recommend anyone looking to get into coding but not sure how, the pace of the course it great and you have a lot of support from the team.
So I did it. I finished my React workshop. It was a bit hard and complicated but it was totally worth it. Thank you SheCodes for these fantastic 6 months and all the support.

SheCodes React was a great experience which has totally changed how I view the creation of applications. It presented new challenges in format/layout, passing information to different components, handling events and manipulating data. It also presented a much easier way to create a Weather App (which we built in Plus with Vanilla JS). This course teaches the fundamentals of React, and is a great foundation to build on.
After completing SheCodes Basics, I wanted to learn more about coding and signed up for SheCodes Plus. I'm so glad I did. This workshop has expanded my knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It also introduced me to Bootstrap and Github. I look forward to continuing my coding journey with SheCodes Responsive and SheCodes React.
SheCodes has provided another wonderful learning experience! Building this Responsive portfolio, using the tools and skills that Matt showed, was so much fun. SheCodes React + JS course absolutely changed my perspective on programming and really ignited my desire to write code! This was a challenging course but it is a good introduction to the world of react javascript. Matt and the team has made it easier to follow through. With this course I was able to build 2 react apps with more than one API integration. I will continue practicing and build more react apps to get more familiar with it and hopefully find a web developer job soon. It was increadibly useful and enlightening to learn about responsivness when designing building a webpage. I am so proud to have been able to transfer this new infromartion and knowledge into a real-life project, especially one that involves my own portfolio page. I can't wait to fill its pages with more projects and ideas that I will feel passionate about, as my journey into front-end development continues. Next stop: SheCodes React !✌️
