Learning about front-end development from scratch and very basic things was a long, but rewarding journey! Most definitely I’ve learned a lot of new technologies (which seemed like scary words at the very beginning): HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, API, Bootstrap, GitHub, etc. And now I’m really thrilled to continue my journey to become the coolest front-end developer You know! 🤪
It's been deep learning, getting the insides of React was i most say not easy but very rewarding after going through. Instructor Delac and the shecodes team, i don't know what i would have done without you. Each day as i go through the shecodes workshops, my confidence rise more and more in this tech journey i wish to take. I have thoroughly enjoyed these last 8 months or so learning all of what SheCodes has to offer me. While this React course was difficult at times, I feel it has helped me become a better coder. Matt has been an exceptional instructor and all the SheCodes staff have been excellent whenever a question arises. I just wish SheCodes had even more advanced React classes to take. I'm excited for the last add-on course and will be forever thankful to SheCodes for helping me find my passion in Front End Development!

Learning react is quite difficult in the beginning but in week 6, it's like you've been doing it for a few months. It's still not easy but you definitely feel like you understand the language better.

React Add-on was a great project to put into practise what we have learn in the React workshop, I quite enjoyed doing it, came across several difficulties but that is how you learn and definitly feel more confidant with React although I'm very aware I still have a lot to learn ... The SheCodesPlus course was a challenging but incredibly rewarding journey. The course's hands-on approach helps provide a solid foundation in web development. Here we created a weather application based on HTML, CSS and vanilla Javascript and ventured through the world of API and real data. I am looking forward to learning more about responsive web development and React.js next.

Learning React was a bit challenging but Mac nailed it. The explanation were detailed and helped me through each step. This workshop just made me more curious about Tech than ever.
Since I started this course, I have gained so much knowledge and skills that I feel comfortable to continue working on my portfolio after I finish all the courses. I found learning React challenging, however having the opportunity to code whilst listening/watching the videos allows for room to understand the concepts and recreate them. I have grown so much from not knowing anything about coding, finding it intimidation to actively looking at options to kick start a my career!
learning react was definitely not easy. it's almost like learning a completely new language. But I would say that with anything, no matter how strange and unfamiliar it feels, if you stick with it long enough, you will become familiar with it.

Very interesting and very educational Responsive workshop. A little bit frustration sometimes, but it forced me to find solutions and now I have my portfolio site and happy to continue my coding journey in web development. Looking forward to next React workshop!!!

React was difficult to understand, but the bigger concepts did make sense by the end of the course. I am happy with the final project and would like to learn more about React.
This course was a bit of a ride. It had its moments of head-scratching, but it managed to keep me engaged. The challenges were like small hurdles, making the learning process a tad more interesting. Debugging turned into a practical exercise, not just a headache. So, yeah, it had its share of difficulties, but overall, it made diving into React less of a chore and more like a learning experience.
The React App was a real challenge but one that I thoroughly enjoyed. It was great to learn how the app and all it's benefits. Excited to learn more and develop in React! Highly recommend

This React course was packed with new information and challenged, especially the final week of putting all the components together and getting them all to work together. I have learned so much during this course, and spent hours trying to figure things out while I kept breaking it! Had a blast! React is fun. Hard, but fun! :)
Learned a lot in this course again and saw how important react is for developing a great website. I rate this course a little bit lower than the others, since the documentation is not as complete and thorough as in the other courses. I had a great time designing my own icons and backgrounds for my project to mix it up, but it would have been great if this would have been a new project subject, not a weather app again.
In this workshop, I became more familiar with Javascript, React, API calls, CSS styling and more. I learned the importance of folder structure and how to deploy a React application to Netlify. I am confidence my experience gained here will help me in my future projects!
