Thank you Matt for the lessons on React. It's definitely complicated, and coding can be super frustrating especially when the entire project isn't working because of a super tiny mistake. But! It feels amazing when I am able to find the problem and fix it. I can't wait to participate in the Add-ons and keep learning. Thank you to all the specialists on Slack too!
A very enjoyable online learning experience overall. The course exceeded my expectations. Building project was never as amiable as with SheCodes.

It is very useful to have someone to take you through the steps of building a project. Contains useful information and I was really happy to learn about the programs and systems used by programmers to build projects.
This was a great add-on project to flex all the things I've learnt and to create something a little more advanced. It was perfectly paced and I enjoyed the videos and my final project. I like how I had to lean on some of my previously learned knowledge too.

It was very fun yet challenging to learn advanced coding skills. The real-life project helped me better understand web development as well as 'do's and 'not do's. I still feel there is a lot more to learn/explore and am excited about the next workshop.

It was really amazing journey to make my first responsive project!!! I learned so much and try out lots of new things.
The course covers the extension of html, css and JS issues. The API lessons were new and really useful. The project of the weather app is great and allows you to put all the knowledge into practice in an interesting way especially when you can use something fully functional created by yourself!
I cannot emphasise enough how much SheCodes has helped me in my coding journey. I don't think I would have gotten so far with any other course. Having to create my own projects while learning was a great way of accomplishing a lot in a short period of time.
You can always work on a website, and you can always improve the look, the design, and the coding language behind it, but you can only do once the first multipage project of your life. This is where I am right now, and for this reason, I am super happy and proud. Thank you SheCodes Responsive, this was really a blast!

In this course I have learned a lot in the short time I have been. I like the classes with the instructor Matt, he is a good teacher and makes everything easy to understand. The methodology in which after most of the lessons a challenge is carried out and then the solution is explained is striking since it allows reinforcing the topics seen. The first project was challenging and I enjoyed doing it, I like the freedom that was given to do it since it allows us to challenge ourselves and let our imagination run wild. It is also fun to work with the tools that SheCodes offers, it makes the job easier.I am excited to continue coding and learning!
I felt challenged while completing this project but never overwhelmed. Throughout the course, Matt provided SheCodes students with detailed instructions and very thorough examples of how to complete certain tasks. I'm glad I completed the add-on assignment.
I am glad I took the SheCodes Basics Add-On course. The extra challenges and final project were what I needed to better understand some of the concepts from SheCodes Basics. Now on to SheCodes Plus! 😀

The three weeks of training at the SheCodes BASICS course were extremely interesting🤩 and educational🤓, but, unfortunately, ended very quickly. I really liked: interactive online platform (special thanks for the design😍); easy and understandable teaching of the material; structured schedule with deadlines; execution of my own 1st project at the end of the course. I would like to pay attention to Introducing SheCodes Coding Tools: CSS Color Palettes and CSS Gradients. These tools are fantastic and make every project better. A lot of thanks to Matt Delac and the SheCodes team for the cool spending time and new coding skills. I really appreciate the learning opportunity I got through the SheCodes Foundation program.
Highly recommend to workshop for anyone who would like to upskill in JS to build their dream projects. As always, I learnt a lot of tricks and useful tools and everyday I feel more confident to apply for jobs as a Frontend Developer.
The SheCodes Basics Add-on was a lot of fun! It expanded more in depth about the previous workshop and taught me more about what I wanted to learn. With the first project, I was getting really frustrated with not knowing how to edit and add images into a column or making it stand out. However, the add-on workshop was able to teach me how!
I never thought I can understand the language of HTML, CSS and JAVASCRIPT. It is amazing to be able to understand the concept of basic coding and being able to work on very cool mini projects that allows you to be hands on, able to make mistakes and learn from them but above all to have a teacher that created these videos. I am thankful I ran into this website and though you may not be into software programming, I think its great to simply try it out and understand what we use on a daily basis and appreciate all the work that goes into it. I had a lot of fun and considering to learn more. I am in my mid 30's and I am proud of myself. I did not think I can learn something new and it shows me that I am able to do more then I thought and building my own confidence.

Learning React was challenging and I'd like to thank Matt for creating lessons and challenges that really helped me understand the structure and flow of data in React. He also had encouraged me to look into third-party state managements & I had successfully learned how to implement one into my weather app. I love that this workshop contained two projects as it gave me the opportunity to improve my coding skills and add a dictionary applications to my portfolio. I highly recommend taking all SheCodes workshops. ❤

I would definitely recommend this course to anyone looking for a good intro to coding. I liked the short lessons, I thought it broke concepts down well and made it easy to learn at my own pace. The homework was a great way help apply what I was learning in the lessons and the due dates kept me accountable. I really enjoyed the final project, it was a lot of fun and helped put everything I learnt together. Highly recommend!

This is my third course I took with SheCodes (after Basic and SheCodes Plus). In my opinion, it was the most exciting (so far) experience! It was very interesting to learn about responsiveness of websites and work on the portfolio project. Highly recommend.

I had very little experience with any coding or computer science in my education and work history before this course. The Basics course was a perfect introduction at a very reasonable price! Matt made it easy to learn using small lessons with interesting projects.
This was a fun extra project. Matt works with you step by step to complete the final project and gives lots of extra instruction along the way. Another super helpful course for beginners.

WOW! This was not easy, but by doing it step by step and a lot of help fr mr Matt himsel, I solved it! It was a fun project that made me both cry and laugh. =) I have learned a lot and love the idea of knowing how to use API:s and so on. This opens a lot of doors and I can´´ t wait to start working on my own projects!
This course was the most interesting and challenging for me. Matt definitely has a talent for getting people interested in coding, this workshop was no exception. Of course, there is still a lot to learn in React, but the course was enough to create two projects - Weather and Dictionary. I highly recommend it to everyone who begins to explore React.
Started from sheCodes Basic to SheCodes plus then responsive. This has been an awesome experience. I have gained so much knowledge in these workshops, an improvement in my analytical thinking by the hands on real life project. This is highly Recommended.
WOW! SheCodes plus was a rollercoaster , from not having a laptop at a point to netlify rejecting me from using their app to the project we had ,I can't how many times I redid my codes, but at the end it came at well..might not be the best but I put in effort to make it good.

With each lesson from SheCodes I gain more experience and I like to learn more and more. Thanks to these skills, I created my business card website, where I will post all my projects and various works. I will definitely improve this site, because new knowledge comes every day. The Responsive workshop is another fantastic course from SheCodes! As with the previous courses, I can't believe how much I learnt in just a few weeks, and although it was challenging it was a lot of fun! Creating a portfolio site was a great final project, can't wait for the next course!
I loved this workshop!! Although it took many requested deadline extensions, it taught some useful coding tools, tricks, and also taught how to think outside the box to find solutions. The project was also really fun to build and rewarding.

I found this workshop excitingly challenging. The explanations, as all the previous workshops, were easy to follow and very insightful. The project was a great way to get hands on exposure, which I think is the best way to learn something that seems so complicated. Thank you so much SheCodes team, I loved this experience.
This course is great. You are provided with all the necessary tools and knowledge to successfully complete all tasks. The video explains all the material very clearly and simply. If you get stuck, you can always ask for help in the chat. I liked the final project the most because it is an opportunity to once again put into practice all the skills acquired during the course and create your own web page.
I absolutely loved She Codes Basics! As a music teacher who has been in public education for the past 12 years, I was really nervous going into the workshop with no experience in tech. But Matt is a wonderful teacher and I found myself excited for the lessons and surprised by myself at quickly being able to create projects using html, css, and java. I am looking forward to She Codes Plus!
Definitely more challenging than the previous course, but I feel like I've learned so much about working with JavaScript, and I'm incredibly proud of my final project as it's not anything I would have dreamed I could have created a few short months ago.
Love the new option to add-on more projects. The basics add-on was a good refresh with opportunity to learn new HTML and CSS techniques before diving deeper into coding journey.

This is a really good course for an introduction to HTML, CSS and Javascript. The videos are very easy to follow along with enough time to complete all lessons and projects. At first, it was a bit tricky considering a semicolon was the difference between completion and some 30 minutes spent in complete confusion but once I recognized those small peculiarities and learned from them, the final project was very manageable and everything fell into place very smoothly.
So cool to know that you did it by yourself. Thank you very much. This project is amazing
This is the end of SheCodes Responsive. I want to say a huge thank you to Matt for this project. This is a rather soft and capacious course. It let me get a lot of basic pieces of knowledge in front-end development in my free time. It was very interesting.

who would believe that a girl who had no knowledge about coding is now a pro at it? After completing my basics workshop with SheCodes, I discovered a new part of me that has been in hiding. I've always loved to build and create new things; now I can build real-life projects through coding. It was a well-designed course. Over the weeks I built my meteorology project, step-by-step, to understand and consolidate the given material. It was a more challenging course, I had an easier time with HTML5 and CSS3 than with JS. Along the way I had a mix of emotions, enthusiasm, and frustration, but in the end, it was enriching. Excellent work to the entire SheCodes team.

These weeks were very challenging, there are still many things I need to work on JavaScript, but I feel proud I got it until this point. I totally recommend going down this path, it helps you not only professionally, but personally, since you develop logic skills you could also apply on a daily basis. I will definitely continue with the next project to keep on improving my coding skills to hopefully boost my professional profile and get where I want to be. I really enjoy the part where I am coding and I can see it's working (it's stressful when it does not work LOL), but once you see the results, it's all worth it.
This add-on to the Basics class was great! Matt walked through additional ways to create and design a website. This extra project gave me the extra experience I needed.

SheCodes React is a highly practical-oriented course, where we get ReactJS coding experience. As a result, we prepared two full-fledged projects and gained practical skilles.
This has been my favorite SheCodes workshop yet! Would absolutely recommend it. It was extremely fun to design and create my own portfolio. This also provides a great way to easily share your work and projects with other professionals. It's a great resource to keep after the workshop is finished.
