I had a really great time creating The Godfather website for the responsive workshop. I showcased a lot of past HTML and CSS skills that I have learned from the beginning of the course. This project was a challenge because we weren't allowed to use any frameworks like Bootstrap. everything had to be created with pure HTML and CSS.
I really enjoyed this course as a simple introduction to coding and I loved getting stuck into working on the homework, and my final project! I found I was able to lean in to my creative side, while learning a new technical skill.
Another enjoyable project. A great way to incorporate the skills learnt in SheCode Plus into a new project to consolidate knowledge. Thanks!

This was my favourite course that I've done with SheCodes, so far! Super interesting and well-laid out. I felt like I gained a lot of new skills and information throughout this section. The final project was really fun to create and also can be applied in real-life which is awesome.
A pedagogical and step-by-step approach to learning, returning to the same projects to add new layers of functionality. I feel confident now that I will learn JavaScript!

I am a girl high school who has a dream to learn as much code as I can. Before SheCodes I never had much experience at all, this was great for teaching me basics and now I know how I can build off of it. I had a ton of fun making my own project at the end of this course and I was able to be creative in my own way. I'm so grateful I had the opportunity to learn coding.

The SheCodes curriculum structure is great for a beginner like me, learning each new skill and element in a practical way that made sense and could be applied to real-world situations. A great balance between having step-by-step instruction and independent problem-solving. The website has some amazing free resources too which are fun to explore, already have some ideas for future mini projects. Looking forward to starting SheCodes Plus and learning more!
It was very challenging and fun to do. The final project is set up very well, making it easy to follow all the steps and implement personal changes to the code.
The Plus workshop was definitely challenging, but Matt's videos made it super easy and clear to follow. The SheCodes team on Slack also helped me out a lot, so I appreciate their hard work. I learned so much and pushed myself more than ever. I never thought I would be able to build anything like my Weather App project, but I love how it came out. I can't wait to continue on learning with SheCodes.

SheCodes Responsive thoroughly taught me how to effectively build a multiple-paged responsive website that is SEO-friendly from scratch. I learned a whole lot from using CSS media queries to mastering Boostrap and then understood how to effectively do a project set-up for any other projects I'll be embarking on. It was an amazing ride all the way!!
I am truly happy I have decided to start my coding journey with SheCodes. The workshop kept a good pace, and thanks to the challenges, I got hands-on experience right from the very start. Building my project as a final exercise was awesome! It also felt amazing to be part of such a great community of women supporting each other. I highly recommend it!

Learning React is not easy, but in this workshop I started to get a grasp of some of the principles while building the project. I have done several SheCodes workshops in the past, and this was, once again, a very pleasant experience. I have enjoyed every second of learning CSS, HTML, and JS with Matt! Matt tries to teach the most important stuff first and not to overwhelm students with complicated materials. Projects will help you to practice what you learn during videos and remember them.

The web development course not only taught me how to code, but also provided a solid foundation in project management and design principles. I now have a better understanding of the entire web development process, and feel prepared to tackle any project that comes my way.
The SheCodes Plus programme builds on what you learnt in the basics course and guides you through the steps required to create your own real-time weather app. I enjoyed the creative freedom that came with the project as well as knowing that I could execute my vision as I had learnt the coding skills required to do so.

I really liked the course! The only two things I'd personally like to see are: 1 - consistency in what's taught in the video vs what's in the assignment. A lot of the things we're supposed to do for homework wasn't taught in the video, or was taught another way, and the answer we're given is to just "google it." I know, but if we're spending $$$ on this course, this info should also be given to us on a foundational level so we know what to google in the first place, and 2 - I'd love to see more "practice projects" that we can do that aren't necessarily graded, but we can maybe submit in a different slack channel for our peers to weigh in.
The SheCodes Responsive workshop was fun and showed me that I don't always have to resort to bootstrap to get the look and feel that I desire from my projects. Looking forward to react!

This program went above and beyond my expectations. The lessons are both challenging and achievable and create a real sense of progression. Having a homework every week creates a commitment to the program and the final project is a good opportunity to explore and create. I just want to learn more now!
SheCodes Plus was a great challenge for me. SheCodes opened up the world of coding for me by making it accessible and creative. I enjoyed problem-solving to overcome errors and to experiment with different layouts. It's satisfying to be able to build your own website in the final project using html, css and javascript, and shows just how much you can learn over a few weeks!

Wonderful workshop. First of all, the way an expansion was taught was extremely easy to understand. One of the strengths of this program was its project-based approach, which assisted in the learning process. Slack chat is extremely helpful if I have any questions. Additionally, solving a project at the end of the workshop helped me to categorize the knowledge that I had acquired. As a result of this workshop, I have gained a great deal of knowledge about the basics of coding. Thanks a lot.
It was really fun to re-do this project with React. It's good to know that there are so many ways to get the same results, and still we can learn something new each day.

SheCodes Responsive has been one of the most challenging one. Although it was challenging, it was an incredible experience. I was able to learn the wide range of programming languages.I feel more confident in my ability to build and deploy projects on my own.
