This final course with SheCodes does a great job of pulling all the projects together and providing information about how to move forward in applying in this career field. I am looking forward to working on new projects and putting myself out there.

I have to say by far this has been my favourite project so far. The designs provided all looked amazing and I felt so accomplished being able to develop and also tweak them myself. I really love responsive webdesign and it's all thanks to Matt!
Matt puts everything we've learned from SheCodes Basic, SheCodes Plus, and SheCodes Responsive into two big React projects. It was challenging but also really fun to see my code come to life. If there is one thing I have taken away from this second project, it's that the best thing to do when one gets frustrated, is to step away for a few moments, relax or do something else, and when you return the answer often times just comes to you.

I am very pleased with this course because everything is structured and divided into logical blocks. and I want to add that it is cool that the project we do during the course is not some kind of theoretical project but a real weather forecast.

Over the past decade or so, I have served as the head of various departments of technical engineers and developers. During this time, my daily routine has transitioned from hands-on engineering towards managing, strategising, and coordinating projects. Though I've made a few attempts at coding, the knowledge I've acquired has largely been left to gather dust in the back of my mind. Nonetheless, I've always harboured a desire to play a more hands-on role. With this in mind I decided to to reignite my passion and embarked on my SheCodes journey, starting with the Basics course. It's been nothing short of a revelation. This course has helped me reconnect with my natural coding ability, offering an enjoyable and exciting way back into the world of coding. The material was engaging and the videos are knowledgeable and approachable. The fact that I could study at my own pace, fitting the course around my schedule, was an added bonus. It was a joy to return to the nuts and bolts of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript after such a long hiatus. What I particularly appreciated was the process of re-engaging with problem-solving, the kind of critical thinking required to build something from the ground up. The SheCodes workshop has not only taught me HTML, CSS, Javascript, React and many more technologies. It has also increased my confidence, helping me overcome imposter syndrome and enhance my problem solving skills whether this be through the challenges, weekly homework or final projects. There were more self-practices. It is very informative to introduce the API into the project and configure it. This course is more focused on self-study. A very accessible explanation for working with Github.

The most understandable video lectures with step-by-step creation of projects contributed to a fairly easy perception of completely new and unfamiliar things for me. Responsive assistants and a community of students helped to resolve difficulties and issues. The last React workshop had a bit of a struggle, but in the end it worked out. Of course, it still takes a lot of practice for theory to become my skills, but a start has already been made.

I think the majority of this course needs to be re-recorded incorporating the SheCodes API. The Open Weather API is incredibly outdated and the majority of its features are no longer free. I spent hours trying to figure things out earlier on only to discover by week 5 that there is a SheCodes API, by which I have implemented features that are too dependent on the Open Weather API to be changed. I also think the whole Plan / Design / HTML / CSS parts of Week 7 and Week 8 need to be moved to earlier on. The homework in the earlier weeks already ask you to implement the final project, and it makes no sense that I am only receiving instructions (by which instructions are no longer needed because I have already figured out how to do things through StackOverflow) at Week 7. The work is redundant and unnecessary. I was able to get through the course fairly easily because I have pretty extensive coding experience but I must say the design of this course is a let-down.
The SheCodes Responsive Add-on Course has taught me more about grids, tables, and filters. It was a challenge to make the entire site responsive, but it was fun learning new ways to code in css and html. The travel project is one of my favorite projects so far. I have enjoyed this course and I look forward to the React Add-on Course next.
I had some basic background on coding and this course was really helpful in deepening that knowledge. I really liked the method of theory and practice put together, and the final project was really interesting :)
It was a very (very) simple project, specially if you've done she codes plus. I kinda feel like this could very easily been taught within shecodes plus, not sure it needs it's own little project. It's very similar to the final project of the plus, with the exception that because you're using intervals, it's so easy to upgrade time and date...

The SheCodes basic course was really good as an introduction to coding. I successfully completed my project, something I wouldn't have thought I would be able to do 3/4 weeks ago. It was flexible, which is essential when you're a working Mum of three! I could easily apply an extension when I needed an extra day or two to finish things up.
The more you learn, the more fun it is! All those small projects where you can test yourself if you understood everything is very helpful.
Great additional project! I really enjoyed having one more opportunity to exercise my React knowledge.

I coded a Barbie theme world clock. By selecting any of the main cities in the world, my clock will provide the current time of that city. I had fun coding this project!

For a while, I wanted to learn a new skill and coding had stuck out to me. However, I had no idea were to start. There were so many different programming languages, and courses that it was all overwhelming. Luckily, I came across a free workshop from SheCodes to introduce me to the coding. I really enjoyed this and chose to start SheCodes Basics and see how I found it. I am so glad I did, I really enjoyed completing challenges and designing my own project at the end. Now that I have completed it, I feel so accomplished and might even do another SheCodes course in future!
Creating a weather app was amazing! I learned some coding tips, especially in JS, new tools like API, GitHub, Netlifly, etc. It fills me with satisfaction the result of my project and learn new things at each level. Thanks a lot!!

This part was more challenging. I feel less confident with what I learnt and it seems it's gonna take a lot of time and practice to understand what I'm doing. I would of appreciate more challenges and maybe another project than the weather app already built in vanilla JavaScript.
Learning from sheCodes basics add-on has been extremely beneficial and fun. The challenges and projects helped solidify my understanding of the topics covered in the course thanks to the insrtuctor. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in getting started with coding even if you're a complete beginner like I was.
This workshop was particularly hard for me as work kept getting in the way.I'm grateful for SheCodes as I could extend my project deadlines to fit in my busy schedule.
