I really enjoyed doing the SheCodes Basics workshop. It helped me realize that I really like coding and that I do have a future in it. It's true that sometimes it's a bit frustrating but at the end of the day you have fun in the process and you are happy with your result. Right now I'm applying to universities and this course made me realize that I don't only want to study design but I want to combine it with some software programming like computer science, animation and videogame engineering and digital design. My final project was a web page where I wrote my college admissions essay and that way I could show them my skills. :))))

I really enjoyed the world clock project and learning some new elements. The pace of the lessons was perfect and, per usual, it was easy to follow along.
As a woman aspiring to break into the tech industry, I was aware of the challenges and barriers that often stand in our way. However, SheCodes has given me hope, confidence and opened the door to connect with fellow women who share similar aspirations and challenges. Learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript has not only equipped me with practical skills but has also inspired a newfound passion for coding and web development. I am determined to put my skills to good use, whether by building websites, creating web applications, or contributing to meaningful tech projects. I am excited to see where this journey takes me.

I would highly recommend the SheCodes Plus course. The instructor's teaching style and the course structure make it easy for students to follow and progress. The final project made me realize just how much I had learned since the beginning of the course. It has definitely been a wonderful challenge, even though I faced some challenges, I was assisted in no time, Matt also does an amazing job explaining in detail how to go about your code. This course has been really really exciting and Matt is an excellent teacher! Those videos definitely taught me a lot and I am happy it is being done like this so I could go back in case I don't quite remember. This course gives you a lot of flexibility and for that, I am extremely happy. I have always wanted to start my own business and for my final project, I did a demo of my prospective business page and I was overwhelmed with emotions. Looking forward to learning more so I can improve it!

I recently completed the SheCodes Plus workshop, and I cannot express how transformative this experience has been for me. The workshop was incredibly well-structured, with a perfect balance of theoretical learning and hands-on coding exercises. One of the highlights of my SheCodes Plus journey was creating a weather application. This project was the culmination of everything I had learned throughout the workshop. It was amazing to see how the pieces of code I had written gradually came together to form a functional and visually appealing application. This practical experience gave me a profound sense of accomplishment and the confidence to tackle more complex coding projects in the future.
Last project, thank you for a great workshop! I've loved it and I've learned a lot. I feel comfortable to code in React.js now and learning advance techniques to integrate API. Cannot wait proceed by myself in my coding journey.

The Add-on project was a bit more time consuming, and challenging than the Basics project. Comparing the two landing pages though, I think the benefit of taking this workshop is clear. I was able to create a much more aesthetically pleasing/put together landing page, and would 100% recommend everyone take this opportunity to build upon the fundamentals previously learned.
SheCodes Plus Add-On went beyond my expectations by delving into more advanced topics, allowing me to build a real-world project and boosting my confidence as a developer. Now I've started to observe other websites from a different point of view. I really enjoyed doing the final project, we understood once again that we are capable of anything, with God, support from our family and persistence.

I have recently completed the basics of coding through the SheCodes program. It is a good coding course and i would recommend it to people who would like to learn to code and have no basics of coding. The material they use to teach us is easy to understand and to access. Their projects are real-life project where to you test what you have learnt and gain experience. Their team is supportive.
React has definitely been more challenging, however it's one of the better skills to learn. I hope to learn and understand more with time. I look forward to attempt new challenges with React. You really do need to stick to projects daily to gain full understanding 😅
I enjoyed the learning process and the frustration of JavaScript. 😅 It is taught very well and you understand how to build a page from scratch. The final project was lovely to build, I really enjoyed it. It's fascinating learning everything and finally getting the code to work.
Like any other journey, this one had its ups and downs, but I'm thrilled that I've made it this far; it was truly worth it. The depth and content of the materials, assignments, and project, as well as the instructor's expertise and the support of the team, are all deserving of my appreciation and thanks. I am an absolute beginner to coding. Just finished Shecodes basics while still working my full time job. The weeks are well paced for learning part-time. Left feeling quite accomplished in finishing the final project. I feel I have a good grasp of the basics of what we've covered so far. I'm excited to move onto Plus.
This course was a great start to learning React. I did learn plenty but at the same time, it was difficult. However, I actually like React. I can see myself learning more, and doing more projects with this JavaScript library.

I can already show and tell everyone about the website(s) I made! 🤠😎🥳 I never had a moment which was bad, I liked every part of the workshop, especially the last week of the project: I could choose my own topic and chose: "The Window of Tolerance" and made a beautiful website thanks to the guidance of the workshop. I shared the website with my friends and it can also be helpful for others (I can help people with my websites already).🤗 The workshop made me get a better self confidence from the start, 🥰 because you learn the practice of coding and making fun and working things already right from the beginning. 🤩

I really enjoyed accessing this module so I could practise and build on the skills I'd developed in SheCodes Basics. I've learnt some really useful skills and I've surprised myself with my final project! I'm actually proud of what I've been able to achieve. The support from the SheCodes team is invaluable; being able to share my code when I needed advice helped to solve problems I was facing.

SheCodes is an incredibly accessible way for women around the world to learn how to code. The lessons are easy to follow and move at a good pace. The projects are not only interesting, but also have real life value as examples of what you can do for potential employers. I appreciate that Matt always encourages us to have fun and to take breaks when we get frustrated - it's a healthy attitude that helps prevent me from getting overwhelmed. When I was a teacher, I learned that the most valuable thing we can teach our students is the ability to learn. Teaching people how to learn, problem solve, and figure things out on their own is incredibly empowering. SheCodes does that for you. While it's not always the most fun as a student (😅), being put in situations where you have to apply previous knowledge to figure out a new puzzle is a great exercise for learning. You'll often find yourself in positions like that during your lessons, but you become all the more stronger for it.
I cannot express how glad I am that I took a leap and joined SheCodes. I enjoyed working on the World Clock website. These projects become more fun with each section covered.

The course is very well structured. Having a practical case immediately after the theoretical lesson works very well, as you put the content you've learned into practice straight away.
