Another React workshop came to it's end but this time diving deeper into React, and I've got to say, it was another fantastic experience! Just like the forecast project we did earlier, this workshop was a blast. One of the things I really appreciated about this workshop was how it helped me understand more about loops and working with double APIs. React can be a bit tricky to wrap your head around sometimes, but Matt really knows how to break it down into manageable chunks. Overall, I learned a ton and had a great time doing it. JavaScript is hard. I wanted to give up from time to time but knowing that learning to code is a long process, I settled on just focusing on what's in the syllabus. The lessons focused mostly on the process of building one weather app project. It's a great workshop but I personally have to refer to outside materials to understand more of some of the lessons here.
Great course! The content was presented in a way that was easy to understand. The projects were fun, and you have access to help if you get stuck. I didn't think I would like or even understand coding; it was something I wanted to try because I am looking to change careers. But I really enjoyed the content and want to keep learning! It is always requires a lot of courage to make a step towards your dreams. For me, IT was always a broad concept associated with excessive amount of terms and rules and you need to know which one to choose from millions of them to implement into functionable project. Seemed pretty difficult until I decided not to judge the book by its cover. I am pretty excited that I made a decision to start coding with SheCodes. In the beginning starting the foundation, it was exciting to start learning something new but at the same time anxious because I did not know anything about coding. Completing this add-on workshop allowed me to build my project without using Bootstrap and really benefited my coding skills and troubleshooting techniques. Once again, SheCodes has boosted the confidence I have in my coding abilities and provided me with another project to add to my portfolio ❤️
