I started out knowing NOTHING about coding and am finishing up with a really decent grasp. The course was so easy to follow and Matt does an amazing job at explaining everything clearly. I've enjoyed it so much and am motivated to keep learning.
The workshops are easy to follow and everything is very well structured. That is cool, that Matt shares best practices all the time and at the end the projects look very modern and nice.
My first experience with coding was horrible, and it was not for me. But this time was different. Matt is an excellent teacher, and now I enjoy coding, and most importantly, I feel confident in coding.

This workshop was definitely challenging and it required a lot more that 5 hours a week some weeks but in saying that I made it! And I am so excited with what I have learnt and achieved in such a short period. Going from having zero knowledge from a development stand point to being able to create a fully functional weather app with an API linked in is very exciting. The knowledge that I have gained through Matt and the team is already being applied in my job as a health application specialist and it has elevated my testing and ability to trouble shoot.

I'm positively surprised by how much I learned in such a short amount of time. The challenges are indeed challenging, but the project was extra fun. I like that Matt does not simply read a script but is passionate about his endeavor. He continuously shows me how to help myself. Staying teachable is important no matter what phase of your career you are in - or even in your personal life. Everything in our lives has now moved to a digital platform and understanding how apps really work and the work that goes into design and function of a webpage or app has made me appreciate my online life, my devices and everything in between that involves an internet connection. Hopefully I can continue to build on what I have learned so far and pursue a career in tech!

Such a bitter-sweet moment right now, this is my 4th and last workshop with SheCodes, and what can I say, I'm beyond thankful to Matt and the team for creating this incredible platform to teach women how to code and break into the tech industry. Just 6 months ago I didn't know what HTML was and now I can code using React. I highly recommend SheCodes, a challenging but fun way to learn how to code.
it was great! I never thought that making a website responsive could be this challenging and fun. during this workshop, we learned how to create multi-page websites and there was a chance to show ourselves and our abilities, not just a task to learn but an actual worthy portfolio project. now I'm able to set up a domain and have my own website. fun, free, professional (special thanks to SheCodes and matt).
I never thought in my life I could do any coding whatsoever but Matt and the team made it so easy and fun! A week ago, I knew nothing about coding. Today I completed my first project and I couldn't be more proud of myself as a student and Matt as a teacher. He is passionate about what he does, and he shares this spark with others. I never tried coding, because I was told programming is for those who are good at math, which I am absolutely not. But war in my country taught me not to leave plans and wishes for tomorrow. And here I am, learning and enjoying every moment of it. It was a good match for me. I knew HTML and a bit of CSS, but bootstrap, java script, React and so on were new to me. These courses had given me a pretty solid introduction into those areas. I would highly recommend SheCodes Plus to anyone. The course is interesting, easy to follow and after each lesson you feel motivated to learn more. It think it is really well structured, because you learn a lot in a short time but it is never overwhelming .There were challenging parts but with a bit of patience and Matthieu's instructions you can solve anything. I think it is a great course because it teaches you how to think and where to search for answers when you get stuck.
I had always avoided anything to do with computers because I do not enjoy math. I didn't realize it was as simple as it was for me to manipulate my MySpace layouts in high school. This course was a lot of fun and Matt is a great teacher. I learned so much and plan to learn more in the future!
