I really liked SheCodes Basics, these couple of weeks helped me to understand that I like coding, although it's not so easy. Lessons are very informative, and Matt gives even more information than the course should have. The team is great and gives feedback very fast. It was useful and interesting. Creating something from a scratch was a great experience. Matt is amazing, I like how easy and clearly he can explain difficult topics.
SheCodes Plus pushed me to my limit and further! There were quite a few times where I wanted to give up but I went back and rewatched Matt's videos as many times as it took until the concept stuck and I could replicate or make changes on my own. Seeing my fully functioning weather app after only a few weeks of lessons and knowing I can add or change anything I want is such an amazing feeling! I can't wait to move onto Responsive and see what comes next.
I loved taking this course! I am excited to continue learning with SheCodes. The instructor, Matt, made learning the material fun. I really appreciated how each challenge continues to re-expose you to the previous skills and build on them. Learning each concept in chunks and getting practice with the challenges really helped me retain the information.
Definitely in love with the course and an opportunity to learn coding. This JS course was challenging and hard but worth all the efforts. You are learning to build an app step by step and also at the end you can see how Matt created the project from scratch and it really helps to see your mistakes and to improve your code. SheCodes Basic has opened so many ideas for me! I'm literally a beginner in this. I'd never thought I'll be so interested in a career path that's to do with coding! I already had some knowledge, but Matt showed some things that I did not know about. The lessons are presented in an accessible and concise way at the same time.I liked it so much that I did not notice how I completed the basic course in one day.

It was a very interesting study. Matthew's teaching is incredible as there was never a dull moment during the course. He explains new topics with great enthusiasm, which causes great interest in learning. Even though it is an online course, you always feel supported by the SheCodes team.

I've been self-teaching front end development for the past 2 years, and realised the need for a really good program that would take me from "knowing nothing" to actually understanding what I was learning and build my skills. After searching for a good, structured, international and flexible coding program that made learning engaging and fun with a good support system for almost just as long, I happened to come across SheCodes. I love that it's for women, and the Customer Success team was very helpful in answering all my questions before I decided to signup. Matt is great with giving bite-sized lessons without the information being overwhelming, and the Technical Team has been really helpful whenever I get stuck with the challenges. I'm looking forward to completing the other workshops!

A very useful course for those who have zero knowledge in this area. Matt explains everything in detail and interestingly presents information. When I signed up, I was afraid that it would be difficult to complete the course because of the language of instruction, because my English is quite mediocre. But the fears were in vain! I recommend this course to beginners!
I have split feelings about reaching the end of my SheCodes journey! On one hand I am proud of my accomplishment but on the other hand I am sad that I have no more challenges to do! I have really enjoyed learning all about coding and in particular, React. The videos have been clear and very informative, I love Matt's style of teaching, and if I've ever had a problem the SheCodes team have been on hand to help and are so kind and supportive with it too . I have found my new passion and I'm so keen to continue with my own independent learning in the hopes of becoming a React Developer at some point. I will be keeping an eye on SheCodes and signing up to any future courses they create! Thank you so much for sparking my interest and opening up a whole new world for me. I have completed "SheCodes Responsive"!! Wow! It has been a long journey since I started "SheCoded Basics". I had never learned how to code until I started taking this workshop on SheCodes and never imagined that I would be ever able to code, but now looking at what I have been working on including my own website, which I have created as a final project of SheCodes Responsive, I feel much more confident with my skills and I can see lots of potential in myself which I have never seen thanks to SheCodes, Matt Delac, and SheCodes' wonderful informative professional team!
I knew absolutely nothing about coding before I started, so to be able to write code and see it come to life has been amazing. The feeling you get when the code is correct and it all comes together is worth it! Matt's style of teaching is really easy to follow and comprehend :)

I have been self-learning via different channels like youtube, Udemy and other online schools. Matt is the one I would recommend as his instructions are very clear and easy to understand for laymen. The course definitely raised my interest in development and make myself more confident on my own work!

I honestly thought that I wouldn't be able to complete this course, or even start it for that matter. I'm a new mom with a 6 month old son and I honestly thought that I wouldn't have enough time to sit down and complete the assignments. However, Mr. Delac and his team have made it very easy to understand and accessible. Thank you for creating this program for every woman, even ones like me!
Taking this workshop was interesting. I learned of SheCodes from my sister and her friends, the latter of which is also taking this course. First thing I want to say is it is cool how this website is targeted towards women. This is something that is very rare, so it's nice to see women being able to learn a new skill exclusively. I also like how SheCodes can be used from woman around the world. For myself, I enjoyed the class for the most part. Matt did a good job with his lessons and it was easy to find time for them. I also have found, thanks to SheCodes, that coding can be quite fun since you get to create your own things. You don't need to know design or even math, the latter which is very true, and it's been fun being able to make my own page even if it's a simple style. Overall though I'm glad I took this class and hope to take the others in the near future.
Thinking about switching professions or only wanting to learn something so complex sounds scary, but Matt and SheCodes do a great job of explaining, providing the tools to learn, and encouraging engagement. Definitely will keep on going. Perhaps one day I'll be THE developer.
I've done a couple of courses like this before, but it turns out they were, in fact, nothing like this one! this is the most comprehensive course by far and it involves A LOT of practice. I like how in the end you are able to come up with your own solutions that are different from Matt's. to me it means that I've gained a proper understanding of how things work, I'm not just mimicking what the teacher is doing. absolutely recommend!

SheCodes Responsive workshop is now one of my favourites I've participated so far. It was quite challenging but super fun and exiting to follow. I'm not tired to tell how I've became a fan of Matt's teaching skills and all the vibe the lessons give. This course provides tons of information to learn and practice - following with guidance of supporting team - big thanks to them! And the final project - it was very interesting and challenging to create multiple page website that would be fully rensponsive on different devices. I came to SheCodes with some old school coding experience (circa 2009) and I found the basics workshop to be easy to follow and very thorough. Matt encourages the student to research and I think this is such a huge step in any learning process. Will be moving on to PLUS workshop next!
I really wanted to learn a new skill over the summer holidays. I came across the advert on a social platform and instantly signed up out of curiosity. I'm so glad I did because it has kept my brain active over the summer and I have learned many new skills that I could utilise which I am very grateful for. SheCodes Basic was so helpful for me as I am completely new to coding. Matt's video's broke everything down really simply and the video's were so easy to follow. Learning to code with SheCodes is really fun. The lessons with Matt's explanations are very clear, with examples that make it easy to understand. With a background education in Grafic Design and a little bit of experience in SQL I'm really having fun writing my creative thoughts into code, it is designing on a whole other level!
