SheCodes Responsive workshop is definitely one of my challenging, yet favorite one. I took a lot of time to finish this project, but at the same time, it was very interesting! Matthieu Delac's teaching skills, the tons of information to learn and practice he provides, to the guidance of the supporting team (shout out to João, Vlada, and Paul) have been incredible! It's a pleasure to see the final result and to know what I accomplished in the 5 weeks(creating my portfolio website with multiple pages that are responsive !) I've already enrolled in the React Course and am excited about the workshop! The SheCodes journey has elevated my desire to learn more, and practice my skills in real-life projects. Definitely would recommend this course!

Have always been interested in web development and coding in general. This has absolutely made me enjoy learning the beginning basics of it. Matt does a great job of walking you through and explaining the "whys" and "whats" but gives you the wiggle room to think for yourself too. Excited to continue learning here.

SheCodes Basic is a frontend web development course for beginners. Matt is really good at explaining and you can always go back, rewatch the videos, read up details using the provided references and resources. If you are interested in web development and don't quite know where to start, this course is a great entry point.
I had so much fun completing SheCodes Basics, Matt's explanations were really clear and I truly enjoyed having challenges to put my skills to test :) No need to say I'm 100% ready for more! 💜

As a complete beginner, I started my coding journey with SheCodes in April 2022, which was purely coincidental. I can't believe I've come all the way to completing the React course! The videos are super fun and informative, as Matt guides you step-by-step on what you should be doing. Even 30 minutes a day will help you get a long way.

In December 2021, with no knowledge whatsoever of coding, I applied to the SheCodes Workshop Foundation and was selected in January to begin learning coding with SheCodes. Today, 7 months down the line, I, Juliet Nnaji, am now a Front-end Developer who is proficient in interpreting designs and building functional, responsive, and user-friendly websites; and also familiar with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Javascript, and React. I had a great experience of coding! This is like a magic for me, when I write something and then, almost immediately, can see the result on the screen. I can't believe I didn't think of learning to code sooner. Matt makes it so easy to follow along. I felt confident to stick with problems and use the resources provided when I didn't get it right away, which will help me with problem-solving in the real world.

I did it! It was not so easy, but Responsive course is worth of studying definitely! Video lessons are still simple, but Matt give the most useful, important information (especially, links and documentation as reference sources). Anyway when you know your direction, it's easier to achieve a goal!
I am very grateful to SheCodes team and Matt for the opportunity to learn the most relevant professional skills for today for free, even while I am in Ukraine - a country at war, unfortunately. I never imagined that I would be able to make a working web application with my own hands! It's fantastic feeling!
This next course SheCodes Plus is more difficult, than the previous one, but also more interesting! Coding can be a real challenge, but it can give you new knowledge about how all this stuff working, it's amazing! Matt and the whole team are great teachers and helpers. Without their help, I couldn't make my app. I can't wait to start the new course. And now I want to say - if you're still doubt about whether you can try coding or not, it's nothing to worry about. It was very interesting and awesome 8 week cource. It was may be a little bit complicated for beginner in some chellanges but solved these chellanges was very useful and interesting. I had a wonderful time completing SheCodes Plus! It was fun and challenging creating a custom weather application. I really enjoyed working through the concepts presented to be able to code my final project. Matt explains concepts very well throughout the course. I found this course so exciting!! I learned so much about working with JS functions and targeting API data. The videos are easy to follow and Matt explains the coding process very well!

Besides I'm totally in love with SheCodes - I really appreciate Matt's method to teach us to build code correctly step by step and to check every single step in order to be aware that this current line of code is working correctly. And only then make it more and more sophisticated. Can't stop adore this course with every new lesson. It inspires. It's not boring. It's awesome. I find myself striving and craving to know more and more. The way the information is given. The way the lessons are built. The way the Matt is explaining every single and not understandable element, method, argument and so on. After other bootcamps I put aside so much stuff "to understand later" to figure out, but not in SheCodes case. Nothing can be taught, everything can only be learned. But with Matt's attitude it is absolute pleasure and inspiration to take the knowledges in his way of thinking.

Observing how the development process is taking place is really useful. I mean we see in Matt's videos how he decides to choose one or another technique, tries something, something works - other things do not. And it is nice for newbies to see the process as it is.
It was a quite challenging, fun and an interesting ride. Especially the building of the Weather App. From no prior coding skill to being able to build a Functioning Weather APP. Thank you so much Shecodes team and most especially Matt for this great Opportunity. I am so excited with what Shecodes is doing that I had to send invite to all the females in my contact to be part of this and I am glad that more than 12 of my female friends have been able to join Shecodes. Shecodes is a movement and I am grateful to be part of this. Shecodes should be in the Guiness book of record for the impact they are making.
I really liked the course. Everything is very accessible and interestingly told and shown. There is an opportunity to do small assignments every lesson, so that by the end of the week you can do your homework. I really liked the idea of the final project, where you can show your imagination, creativity, thinking. Very good course, thanks a lot to Matt for this.

Happy to share my work with the help of great teacher Matt. Few weeks ago, I did not know much about coding, I always found it intimidating. Now I managed to learn about HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript and to create a landing page.
I am so glad I started classes with SheCodes. I've wanted to switch careers for awhile now, but wasn't sure where to get started. My first SheCodes class was the motivation I needed. The class was easy to follow yet challenging at the same time. I enjoyed the bit-size lessons that fit into my schedule. I loved that Matt would sometimes throw in a challenge on a concept that he hadn't fully explained forcing me to problem-solve and evaluate the project as a whole. I would definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone not sure where to start.

I was a complete amateur when I started the SheCodes workshops and I've learned so much since then. I thought learning React was going to be a bit more difficult than it was, but I got through it with ease and Matt explained everything well. When I did have issues, I had good support from the team through Slack. I'm bummed that this is my last workshop, but excited to see where this coding journey will bring me.
