I really enjoyed the SheCodes coding workshops. Enabled me to try new things, that I thought I was not capable of doing, or may have previously found boring. I am thankful of Matt for making this available.

Great introduction to coding. Matt allows you to fundamentally understand how html, css & java integrate and function. The pace was good. This course gave me confidence in my abilities. Sometimes it seemed that I already knew this. But it was a necessary training of skills, as well as a deepening of knowledge. During the tutorial, Matt explained how to apply the features that make a site look professional. I'm nowhere near the end is what I told myself a few months ago and today, I am proud to announce I have been able to complete my final project for this workshop. Learning the skills I need to nurture my career in tech has been a source of motivation for me. This is a whole lot more visual than any other college class or youtube course that I have seen. Really love that I can watch Matt type and I can type along too. Slack allows for questions outside of googling. Its easier to digest and fun to look at, watch, listen, etc... EXTREMELY GRATEFUL.
I am so grateful to SheCodes team for these courses. I started my coding journey 7 months ago thinking that I would never be able to understand the complexities of code and now I learned so much and gained so much in autonomy over the last months that I feel that I can go further on my own. SheCodes taught me something essential that I use in everything I do, being able to troubleshoot yourself. I tried to apply that along the whole cours but when I had a more serious issue, the SheCodes team was there to help. Wish I could continue on this journey even further with them but I managed to get to the end and I'm so proud and thankful to all of them. The course SheCodes Plus inspired me to continue with code, particularly JS tools. I am fascinated by how the code works and would like to gain more experience and knowledge in this field. I had some experience with HTML and CSS before this course, but Matt really helped me fill in some of the major gaps in my knowledge. I had no experience with JavaScript and was pretty scared of it, but I can't believe how much fun I had using nested if else statements in my final project!
Before the lessons coding looked liked something unachievable but with the easy learning methods, it became enjoyable,I feel really empowered.Thank you Tutor Matt for your time and teachings!
SheCodes is ah-mazing! Matt is an excellent teacher and does such a great job breaking down seemingly difficult technical concepts. The Slack channels are invaluable for working with other students and the rest of the SheCodes team for feedback on your work. This isn't my first workshop and certainly won't be my last.
I really enjoyed SheCodes Plus, coding was challenging at times, of course, but the simple explanation from Matt, transformed the journey into something fun. I'm happy with my choice to enroll in this course and to learn such technologies as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, API, or as I like to say, discovering the secrets of this magic world. I enjoyed the course and spending time figuring out how to make the weather app looks great and function well. One of the things I really like about this workshop is that Matt has mentioned how we should code within our capability and best knowledge, and not to over complicate our codes. There is more to learn and challenge ourselves in the days to come, less is always more. Overall, I am very pleased with the new knowledge I have gain through the workshop, and looking forward to the next workshop soon!

SheCodes guided me through some muddy waters in React, and without Matt's guidance, this would have taken me a lot longer to learn and many more broken API keys would be mine.
I read about shecodes on instagram and i attend free demo session as well and found quite different from other courses which are available online and decided to start the course with shecodes.After attendending week 1 lessons and come up wth the conclusion that it is not only good but the excellent course ever .Doing coding challenges is actually fun. Yes, learning to code can be hard at times. You are learning a NEW LANGUAGE :) Thankfully Matt shows you step by step what to do and what NOT to do. Between the Slack student help channel and being able to rewatch videos as much as needed you can and WILL eventually figure it out and it will make sense. Take a break but do NOT give up! :)

I started my coding journey just 2 months ago and I can't believe I made it through all 4 courses. Finishing has a lot do to with the system SheCodes provides, like the fast and helpful responses from the team, the challenges, the homework with deadlines, the projects and a very enthusiastic Matt. Most of the time it felt like bob sliding, high speed through the curves, gravity pulling you from left to right and back again. Reaching the finish line and looking back, I just realize how much I learned during the past two month. It felt so good to be challenged and grow. I feel motivated to build my own apps now and very grateful to SheCodes.
I`ve just finished Basic Coding class, and I want to say: it`s amazing! I was afraid that it could be too difficult for me, I don`t understand anything or even it would be boring. But Matt is very talented teacher, the whole information was given to us in very interesting way, it was like a game for me, not boring classes! And the most inportant thing for me is that I really want to continue, develop and learn more and more, to dive deaply into this coding world. Thank you so much, Matt and SheCodes team!

I tried HTML before but dropped the course within an hour because I could not understand anything the tutor said. I decided to give it a go for the second time. Matt made the course enjoyable and I could understand clearly everything he was tutoring us.
I really liked the course SheCodes Responsive. Everything was interesting and exciting. The material is presented simply and concisely. Matthieu's lectures are just wonderful!!!
My experience with coding was limited to messing with MySpace almost 20 years ago but after going to the free coding class I felt confident that I would achieve more through SheCodes. The pace of the lessons is perfect for me and I love how more resources are linked if we wanted to dig even deeper. I'm excited to keep learning with Matt and the SheCodes team!
I had a lot of fun working through the different practice problems and seeing everything come together in the homework assignments at the end of each week. Every lesson builds upon the last in a neat, stepwise progression that makes learning feel like a bit of a challenge but not difficult. I appreciate how the answers aren't provided but that students are given the information they need to "Google it" and come to workable solutions on their own. Bonus? My daughters think I'm cool now :) That said: I encountered an issue when submitting my first week's homework assignment that has left me troubled. I replicated the provided example but, after review, I was notified that my homework was incomplete; when I checked to see what the problem could be, the link I had previously followed to the example opened a differently-formatted page. I went to Slack to ask if I would be required to reformat my homework despite my submission being a faithful representation of the original example and was answered with a request to post my question in another channel of slack because it was a "technical" problem; because the turnaround time for answers was slow (an as-advertised ~48hr) and I didn't want to wait (and I want to learn), I went ahead and reformatted the assignment. Still, I have two problems with this: 1. Assignments that require students to copy (nearly exactly) an example document should not be graded in comparison to example documents that did not exist at the time the assignment was completed. 2. A support team should provide support, not direct questions to different channels and then definitions of what "technical" means, even if it does mean something different (and so vague as to be meaningless) to them. I asked a question of the support team that pertained to a philosophical question, not a technical question: Considering that I submitted an assignment based upon an incompletely formatted example (that was available to me), would I be required (by the SheCodes team) to continue formatting my assignment to match an example that did not exist (to my eyes) until after I had submitted my assignment? When I indicated that my question was not technical in nature (I had no difficulties creating a document, coding a document to match the example available to me, or submitting a document), I was told that, essentially, all questions are technical questions and if I want an answer I should submit my questions to the proper channel. This is not a free course and it is alarming to me to be paying for support and receiving resistance, instead. Just an FYI. I am learning a lot, but I am someone who enjoys the Googling and searching and fiddling. If I were taking this course with the idea of getting (and receiving) much support from the support team, I'm not sure how that would be going.
Matt is a very good teacher. He gives you just the right amount of information, so that it's both doable and challenging. It has been a joy to participate.

I would highly recommend this program to any woman who wants to explore the tech field! It is a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-star program. The people who help answer the questions, and help you get up and running are AMAZING!! The only experience I have is answering emails and browsing YouTube. I was extremely impressed with Matt the instructor. His teaching skills are in another dimension. ✔I have learned so much. There is a volume of support because of the way that this program is designed and run. I would recommend this program for its simplicity and quality.

I am a Chilean, living in Germany, I have a degree in Business Management but I am not passionate about it. When by chance of life this workshop appeared on the internet, it caught my attention and I did it out of curiosity. Now I am thinking of studying Front End Developer since I have loved it. I absolutely LOVE SheCodes! I almost went to a different bootcamp/workshop and am so glad I chose Matt and SheCodes instead.
