Woohoo! I did it. 👩🏾💻💜🚀 I passed and completed my coding course and I’m so happy. I haven’t looked at coding since studying it briefly 7 years ago at uni, so it’s safe to say I needed a refresh. I took the course to improve my digital design skills as this is the field I love and thrive in. I studied computer science in college about two years ago but eventually dropped the classes because I felt I couldn't understand or keep up with the materials. I must say that the Basic's coding workshop is extremely beginner friendly, efficient, and affordable. Before I almost gave up completely with being able to learn how to code and move forward into tech but now, I have my confidence back! Such a great experience! React is not easy, it's very challenging and difficult to understand, But Matt Delac breaks it into small components, and it is easier to understand! Thank you on SheCodes Team as well been always there for us with all the bugs, compiling errors, or even just on a wrong directory! So much fun, challenges, and most import good time coding!
This has been a very challenging project. This is a great introduction to the world of coding, I had to get used to the disappointment of the code I wrote not always working and to asking for help. I wouldn't say that if I had to do it all over again I would be able to, without the help of tech support and Matt's videos. At the same time I have definitely learned a lot about APIs, Github, Sandbox, and everything else introduced in this workshop.
This is my third workshop with Matt, and I have really enjoyed it. I have learned so much and i also appreciate the format the workshops are in. Highly recommended!

I've learnt programming in university but I've always struggled with it and never felt comfortable doing projects. I recognize my weaknesses so I decided to sign up for the SheCodes Basics course and at first I was a little apprehensive but as the classes progressed I realized that the way Matt explains the theory is quite intuitive, which makes the process a lot easier. The challenges that are also proposed at the end of all classes are essential to consolidate the knowledge I acquired. I really enjoyed the course and will certainly sign up for the next one. It is with great pleasure that I can say that after this course I learned to like programming and it no longer scares me!!

This was my final SheCodes course, and probably the one I enjoyed the most. I had fun learning React and solving problems while working on my two projects. If I were to look back to when I started, I can appreciate how far I got and while my coding journey doesn't end with SheCodes, I'm happy it was a big part of my development into the world of coding. 👩🏻💻 Matt explained the concepts clearly and I would definitely recommend the React course if you already enjoyed vanilla JS.

SheCodes has been an amazing experience. I was a little hesitant at first, as I learnt to code in a statistical software during my masters, but I unfortunately did not enjoy the experience. Nonetheless SheCodes has been an amazing experience. The lessons are very interactive and Matt does an amazing job of breaking down the concepts related to HTML, CSS and Java Script. I loved the fact that staff & students were readily available to support with any questions that I may have regarding my code or certain topics. I have throughly enjoyed my experience and will definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone who is interested in learning about the field of coding.

Iv always been passionate about learning to code as I find it challenging and interesting especially whilst working closely with developers. I just couldn't find the right course however, when heard about 'SheCodes' thought id give it a try. Enrolling was the best thing I did I have already learnt how to code using CSS, HTML, JavaScript and Editor which is great achievement for me. I like the way the course is broken down to small weekly workshops, lessons and homework all of which was easy to grasp. Like my boy in that one vine once said - "That was legitness". This is my third workshop from SheCodes and once again my guy Matt killed it with the video lessons. My ADHD brain has no problem following each video because Matt is great at explaining concepts clearly. I appreciate the structure of the workshops. I'm able to balance working full time and completing homework each week without feeling overwhelmed. Bible✌🏽.
It was a great experience! I can only recommend as it gives you a first intro about coding. Matt is doing a great work. The topics are explained in a very understandable way and the challenges after each lesson are very good in order to directly implement what you have just learned.
There were inevitably moments through the course that I thought I'd fallen off the tracks, but in the next moment Matt would be breaking it down and explained so well that it brought me back up again. It felt more like a fun project than a course, it was really enjoyable! As well as feeling like I'd gained some really useful basic knowledge of code. Thanks, Matt!

As someone who had absolutely no prior knowledge about coding this course has been super insightful. The weekly homework, Slack support, and the SheCodes team were also huge plus!
